i am 62 and do dress like i her. i have always favoured classic looks with color surprises or something funky.
Regardless of her age, she has the build and shape of a fashion model. Most of us are average women who will NEVER look like that.

Maybe, but we can still use these ideas. Ideas have no size! Understated elegance, monochromatic dressing, good quality fabrics; we can all interpret those in our own way, which I imagine she really would have celebrated in each of us!

I went grey…only it’s a beautiful white! I get compliments all the time! A simple shoulder length bob and I’m all set! But I do love my minimalist makeup!

It also helps if you can afford the best constructed, top of the line cuts, fabrics, textiles, accessories, etc., yes you can pull yourself together admirably 76+.
Plenty of rich people dress in terrible outfits. Linda has great style! I think her accessories make a lot of her outfits special 👑
She is beautiful, I love her style. I'm 59 and discovering my style after wearing a uniform for work my entire life until now. Now I can have my own personal " style uniform". I love scarves and sunglasses, they can really make an outfit look stylish. Something I learned from a lady who was 102," a lady is never dressed without lipstick" and " lift your chin dear". I was a senior carer, she was a beautiful resident.

This was an enjoyable and inspiring video. I'm 75 now and always had a sense of style. As a young girl I studied fashion magazines and learned about classics....they never go out of style. Anyone can learn, remember less is more. Keep with the classics. Have fun.
I'm 75. My genetics were never thin. I wear modern clothing that makes me look good. I choose not to wear recycled styles. I don't mean second hand, I am talking 1960's styles, now. I choose a modern hair style - not the 'old' granny short style. I choose not to join the 'wear church style'. There are people 5 years younger that wear 'old' making clothing. Mentally fit and happy is the best fashion accessory.
She is a beautiful woman with a great sense of style. I don't think age has anything to do with it.

Thought this was excellent, and agree entirely with the last point, confidence being most important! This lady is vibrant,smiling and chic..and absolutely brimming with life! ( I reckon if I lost a couple of stone and grew a further 6 inches I'd manage to emulate her fabulous style!)

Love her style. Anyone can dress well. Even on a thrift store budget. Even if you are overweight. Shoes are the only thing I pay full price for.

Again, negative commenters missing the point of the video. Even us common folk can look to her and emulate her style with more affordable dupes. Since her style is classic and mainstream it would be easy to do. She’s also slim , again, something most people can attain no matter their status.
Many people struggle with their weight, and most of us won't be rail thin and wear clothes like hangers. No...this is absolutely unattainable for most people on modest budgets. If an average woman purchased a gigantic, oversized sweater she'd look like a walking mess! Real people have real issues.
Why? I don't want to "emulate" her!
I'm happy to be my own person. Even if I am "common" as you say.

I am in my 50's and was thin when I was young, then heavier, now a bit lighter, but I still need a large or XL most of the time. Some of her looks would work great on me, some not so much, but I can use some of these ideas. To say though, that most people can be as slim as this woman is rude, as I worked pretty hard just not to be obese. She has a slender build, with fine bones, and not much for curves. She's a model, and she looks it. As for cheaper dupes, to some degree yes, but cheaper clothes are never going to look like a high end cashmere sweater or a perfectly cut cashmere coat.
Tons to learn here. Unusual colour combos and virtually no prints - except in scarves. Good one 🎉

There were, but I personally preferred the outfits with less pattern. I’ve noticed that on myself, too, since menopause. Not sure why, really.
Would love to see how she dresses in the summer. It’s still 87 degrees here! Hard to layer, tho’ I agree it is very chic!

@@mary-jomerk3501 She does not own a cashmere company at all ! She only runs a little shop (in a street off the Champs Elysées) where she sells, among other well selected items, cashmere pieces imported from Begg & Co in Scotland. That is VERY different !

Love it! I am 76 and love to look fashionably chic. I love scarves and shawls that are colorful. I dont wear pants but I love flowing skirts and dresses that are below the knee. I dont shy away from colors but prefer more subtle colors. I love her look. Who says we cant be fashionable in our older years.
Everything looks beautiful and drapes wonderfully on a model/stick-thin person. Lovely to look at but doesn't depict the average woman (who is beautiful in her own special way).
I’ve been following Linda for some time. I dress similar to her, but using less color. I spend quite a lot on designer clothes and accessories (although I don’t own a Birkin bag). But I will never look as good as Linda, as I don’t have her figure. I don’t think recognizing that means “negativity”, I’m just being realistic.
And, let’s add what few are willing to concede: She has maintained a trim figure, which is critical to carrying off any and every fashion look with aplomb.
You can carry some weight and still look stylish. You just have to know how to do it.
Yikes. Sour grapes? Someone peed in your cornflakes? Lots of envy in the comments. Yes, the clothes are expensive. She’s not visibly saggy. Perhaps she takes care to exercise and eat right. She probably wore sunblock and hats most of her life. If you shop online at outlets or wait for end of season sales you, too, can look expensive. As for “work done” well good for her if she can afford it. I think she looks fab and I’ve already copied her style with clothes in my closet. ❤❤❤

Her cashmere items come from Begg & Co in Scotland (which you can also buy on line but no cheaper - and you have access to the whole collection, not only her selection). I met her several times, she is not « tall and slim », and she looks older in reality than on the staged pictures.

Linda Wright runs a shop in a street off the Champs Elysées. She models items from her shop, among which cashmere pieces from Begg & Co, Scotland. Part of her collection is also available on line (Crimson Cashmere).
I don t like her clothes at all but she is thin and she can wear everything for sure !
Additionally, she's stayed slim & trim, so her clothes drape well on her figure and she wears the correct size. Nothing is too big or too small. Very elegant.

13… shape and height… like my favorite 80’s model Christy Turlington, no matter she is 55 now or 65, 75 , ten or twenty years later, she will still look gorgeous… she can wear anything from 1-12, 13-100 you name it and looks fabulous because she has the height and body shape to carry any styles… of cause a beautiful face with unique character!
Of course she looks like a fashion icon. Lord love her, she has nothing else to spend her time / money on, plus she has access to stylists and photographers to make her look like a “fashion icon”. Good luck to her but it’s hardly realistic…more like typical social media click bait.

It’s easy to look “effortlessly chic” when you’re tall and thin. How about the rest of us normal women. I think I look nice at 77 but I wouldn’t look nice in most of the styles and colors that you are suggesting. Nor, by the way, could I afford it.

Attractive, good posture, weight conscious yet not too thin. Think 80% of these photos depict her with two to three “fussy” add ons which disguise her attractive silhouette. Loose a belt, a scarf, a color contrast. Elegance demands allowing the viewer’s eyes to relax and their breath to calm.
Once a woman is over sixty everything said about her starts with her age. How about starting with “This is how a fashion icon dresses.”

After spending too much money on the perfect sweater last year, I will never buy polyester again! Especially not made from recycled water bottles! Definitely I am moving to buying fewer things and splurging on better fabrics. Also, prefer the more neutral outfits with a pop of color. Very much my style. I need understated clothes so that my clothes are not wearing me.

Her clothes and style may not be to everybody’s taste. But if SHE is happy with what she is wearing, that’s ALL that matters. So many dress to keep up with the fashion trends that come and go and waste money in the process… Buy clothes that make YOU feel confident and happy, whether that be a £500 outfit (if you can afford that) or a £50 outfit from a goodwill/charity shop.

Age has nothing to do with it. Anyone who is tall and slim can wear whatever they like and look good. She could wear an old sack and still look chic. Most of us have to work harder at it.
You forgot to mention: she has money. Also, since she is part of the fashion world she is exposed to clothing all day as part of her job. I doubt she has to spend her own time shopping. She looks good, but her style is a bit much for the average woman. I would guess each outfit cost over $500.00 with shoes and bag - a conservative estimate. This wasn't helpful.

Yep, when you are overweight you look dumpy and the curves go in the wrong direction.
That being said, this woman is very close to her correct weight. The reason why most items of dress look good on her.

Why are Americans so obsessed with Italian and French dressing. Yess they are lovely, put together and there are styling ‘Tis to learn. But we have icons of our own. What about the JACKIE O looks? Her style is still an epitome of looks. I’m not into Hollywood much but there were some actresses that were very stylish that would still be ideal today…Katherine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall, Hedy Lamar….and of course Audrey Hepburn, though not American.
It only takes knowing what looks good on you, the colors and not going too far out from there include one or two trendy items. Be confident in own person and don’t compare and copy others.
To be fair she does say she is a fashion icon...0.33. No need to go on the defensive all the time.

She really looks like an old grandma, especially in some clothes. And some clothes look old and winkled and not really elegant. And pajama pants and socks with sandals?! But some looks are really good. The most important part is that she feels free to wear what she wants. It is all about inspiration. Everybody should find their own style.
If I dressed like that hubby would say I look like a bag lady.
What about clothes for summer heat and humidity? And what about something that is priced reasonably for someone who is not wealthy? And…why is it that women older than 50 are supposed to wear, basically, colorless clothes? Seems they are already invisible enough!
