- Taken from Mark's channel, some of the original had been muted out, which I've edited in music to fill the gap!
This was recorded in the music room at the Newville house in Downey, California.
'Yesterday Once More' was a collection of Carpenters promo films, videos and TV performances and was originally available on Beta and VHS video tapes as well as a Pioneer Laser Disc.

Now, I'll have to change how I upload any Carpenter related content anymore and I have a bunch of stuff. I was actually considering creating a video, "Making Carpenters; Yesterday Once More Was A Shit-Show." Yeah, I'd like to share my Carps archives and insider knowledge but it sucks when I get only a handful of views and a taker of my video gets lots.
It never occurred to me that the hands playing piano in the video belonged to Richard. Since they didn't show his face, I just assumed A&M hired a session musician for the job. But perhaps it was done by personal request? That Richard wanted the focus to be on his marvelous late sister and not him?
The music is brilliant, by the way.
