Hats of to the regular guys saving money and doing mods as we can afford them. I bought the ATTAKS also, going to install them this weekend! Great job, keep it going!!
Yea definitely, everything is so expensive haha we gotta work at them slowly. Thanks for watching and commenting, you're going to love it once you get them installed 👌
Just installed them this morning. WOW, didn’t drive it yet but the cold start and idle is insane! I had some struggles with the 13 mm bolts between the stock muffler and the frame. Other than that a few curse words and a bloody knuckle or two and it is complete! Keep up the good work bud and I enjoy watching us average Joe’s making it happen! Have a great weekend!
@@bryanlauchman1014 Damn! What an exciting morning for you haha, but yea those bolts were pretty annoying. Everything under my car is partially seized up due to age and storage conditions so that sucks but i'm real glad to hear you got yours on. Good stuff man, enjoy hearing it scream 👊
Never used Midas due to, them not having a shop here where I live. The best placed near me is at Belle Tire in Warsaw, Indiana. Concerning pothole and manholes covers, this town , Plymouth, Indiana, is full of them. The person who laid out the sewer/drain system here, had to be an alcoholic. You have to driver like a drunk to miss them all because they're so staggered in the road. Good thing about Belle Tire other than, their prices is, you can get a perfect front end & rear end alignment for $75 and for an extra $40, you can get as many of them as you need for a year. It may seem like just a money making extra but, when there's towns and slack in proper road maintenance, it's worth the cost. More-so when driving cars like we have. For the extra $40, if you need 10 alignments, it's already paid for. ;)
@@hooami9291 Lmao I'm sorry but that actually made me laugh that you'd have to be drunk to miss them all 😂 That sounds awful though. My commute to work is very rough on my suspension as well sadly, wish I had a Bronco or something (alongside my Mustang) so I didn't have to care or worry nearly as much... But I've actually wanted to purchase a lifetime alignment since I adjust my coilovers from time to time! So $40 for the year depending on your situation can definitely seem like a great deal 👌 Thanks for sharing!
Especially with some cams (#comingsoon(ish))! Haha, but oh for sure. I absolutely love how the car sounds with the axle-back. It gives it some volume while keeping that beautiful throaty tone, you really can't mistake the sound for anything but a V8. It's great, and I'm very happy it was my first mod done to the car :) Thanks for asking!
@@DevonRedditGD Haha I think it's much too soon to change the paint job/wrap it. I'm in love with how it looks right now so a change like that is for the future when I want to spice things up.
A common problem with installing new mufflers on 5's thru 9's is that three of the four mounting brackets fit right side up or upside down. You have to remember the long side of the bracket attaches to the bottom of the frame rail. If not mounted correctly it will throw the alignment of the muffler into another dimension. Found this out when I installed a set of FR500's on my Bullitt. Added another 15-20 minutes to the install to figure it out, still took just over an hour, and yes, that bolt on top of the muffler can be a bitch, thankfully someone invented the 13mm ratcheting wrench .
Yea I had no idea of this issue before the install. I thought it would be straightforward but it definitely had some surprises for me. Lesson learned 😅
My brother has catback flowmaster outlaws and it sounds amazing. I want something similar to what he has but do catback and axleback exhausts sound the same? I know catback are more expensive because there is more piping but i am just wondering what sounds better? Catback vs axleback
You'll get more sound from a catback, but if money is tight the axle back is definitely worth it since most of that note is coming from the axle back/muffler part anyway. I say go with the axle back for now, so you have more options available down the road if you ever wanna get long tubes since those require a specific mid pipe anyway.
Im pretty sure mechanics just don't like getting midway finished work there's a shop near me where they actually charge you more if they have to work on something you didn't finish.
Yes that's a fact that I'm aware of as well thanks for pointing that out. Can't remember if I said something silly in the video or not about hoping i'm charged less.
@@driftcat7076 I really appreciate that man, and I agree about the 3v's. Many people start out with them but then move on as soon as they can! My 3v is going to be here to stay so don't you worry. Thanks again brother.
Luckily the ramps I have lift it with no issues since the rear has plenty of clearance. For your instance you may find better success using a jack and stands good luck :)
Very nice exhaust clips in the beginning of the video! Glad to hear you're loving the exhaust! Best of luck with your channel, man! -Zach

Three valves sound so damn good, like a proper muscle car! Now that you’ve had the mufflers first a little bit, how are they? Still love them?

Ayeee thanks man me too!! Haha it sounds SOOO good on throttle :')
That mustang sounds like a real muscle car! Sounds great
Yea it sounds absolutely incredible! Definitely has that classic muscle sound 👌 Thanks for watching as usual man :)
No problem. What I think you should do to the mustang next is to give it a new look (p.s. it would look good in red)

Hell yeah exhausts are expensive! I waited for Black Friday to get my cat backs... hella worth it though!
Did you buy on AM as well? Do they usually have good Black Friday deals?
I got them at LMR. They were 20% off on Black Friday but I’m not complaining lol I got the roush extreme cat backs for my 08 GT for around $540
