- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- After one year, Kajsa Is back! The entire crew have been waiting for her arrival after the injuries, so we figured the best way to celebrate this was to create a lead video.
Kajsa chooses a route that scares her and she wanted to give it her best try, hope you like the video!

This was one of my favorite episodes yet. Not because I like lead climbing so much but because of the story telling and raw emotion. You can’t force this but when it does happen it’s really special. Great work and happy for Kajsa :)
Yeah this is quality content
I don’t usually comment on UA-cam videos, but this was one of my favorite episodes on this channel, and Ive watched all of your videos! Love the storytelling in this one
Glad you liked it that much! :)
Absolutely loved this style of episode dudes, even having a story arc of kajsa battling with herself and the redemption of committing to the move, it's like a new level for the vids and I've watched every one since you started !!!! First time I felt compelled to comment to let you know but I loved this video.
Thanks for the love and support man 😍 glad you liked the video that much!
She's really strong - makes this 8a look kind of easy :0
Kajsa is my favorite by far. She's such an inspiration.
Wow, really great lead climbing footage: you always hit the angles and the zoom factor just right. Happy to have Kajsa back ;-)
I found this video super inspirational, I really struggle when climbing on lead and am often even afraid even when I am climbing a route that I would normally warm up on (several grades under my red point), it really helps to see such a crusher like Kajsa with the same struggles as I have to overcome her fears
More please! My palms got so sweaty watching!
We love all climbing!
One of the best Videos!
More Lead pls! Love seeing you guys climbing lead!
Psyket kommer tillbaka i takt med uthålligheten, det är min erfarenhet i alla fall.
Brilliant story - thanks for all the hard work everyone.
Think Kajsa might need some of Thor's war cry training!
Mute the camera in the spider crane thing next time during the epic climbing as it sounded like an air raid siren! :)
More lead climbing and setting please!
It's funny, this is exactly like my problem. I take way longer and objectively scarier falls when I boulder both indoors and outdoors, but put me on a rope and I'm shaking like a leaf. Doesn't matter how long I've been climbing either, now been doing it for 2.5 years and it's still scary as fuck. That's the way it is for me I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ha ha, I'm the exact opposite! I have no fear whatsoever when lead climbing but even doing a V2 I'll start shaking when I get a little high, that's why I hardly boulder..
PLEASE, MORE LEAD CLIMBING!!! Where I'm from my gym does not have a very big bouldering section and it is nice to see indoor lead climbing apposed to outdoor because not everyone gets the opportunity to go outside and can only climb indoors. Love the vids guys and wish I could climb in such an awesome gym like yours!!
Yeah more lead videos will come, emil and I have plans :D
moar lead climbing! looks epic when you are able to follow the climber all the way up!
Yes! Please more lead! Great video Eric
Yes!!!
Love the lead. Also, can you plug the songs/musicians you have in the vids. I always love your selection, they sound so fresh🤗
Lead climbing while filming from the lift was the best discovery of 2018!
The project videos were probably my favorite series of videos he’s ever put out
Man she is strong.
Yep
Definitely more lead climbing!!
Alright Eric, you can blame Emil for this one for that outro, because I'll hold you guys up on this. More lead climbing would be awesome... From BOTH of you ;)
And, well, the other crewmembers as well of course :D
Hehe 😉
I was wondering where she's been! She's looking strong!
I can really relate. I've had acrophobia since I was very young. I did bouldering for years, and still wasn't over it. Once I started climbing with auto-belays on a 32 feet wall I finally started feeling comfortable with the height, and that ended up making a huge difference in my bouldering. I didn't realize until the fear was gone how much it was holding me back even just a few feet off the ground and indoors.
I love seeing Kajsa climb, great video as usual.
12:01 so important that she fell there, like she said after. it was an important step to do for her mental game. therefore absolute repsect to her
YES! Amazinggggg! So glad you're back Kajsa, we missed you
Jess Harris ☺️Glad to be back to!
im surprised she is that scared of falling. she didt show any fear at all at the nordic lead championship witch she won with a spectacular climb on november 24 2018 :) plz give us more lead climbing vids, just a litte bit :)
This was actually quite emotional. Much more than just climbing going on here and it had me almost crying... Thanks for the inspiration Kajsa and Eric!
Eric! The emotional tone and narrative of this video really comes to life with your shot pacing and music selection, I really love this one. Would love to see you guys do more lead climbing vids as well. Now excuse me, I think I'm going to go climbing
the two legends with the first comments! Tanner still got first again!
Such a cool way to film the climb. Never really seen lead from that kinda perspective before. Always thought they should cover lead world cups with techno crains
I know leading climbing takes a lot of work to film it. So you deserve two likes at least in a row 😊
This is cool because i'm so afraid of heights when climbing but it's awesome watching her push through the fear, plus she's just so chill and fun
The Holy Trinity: Eric Karlsson video, Kajsa, lead climbing 😍😍😍
Everything about this video was on point! Kajsa lead climbing, excellent choice of music, editing, good length (10-15 min), and so on... MORE!
More lead, definitely from Emil. Let the sufferfest begin... 😂😂😂
nice vid man👌
I love watching Kajsa climb... #gayforkajsa🙌
I was thinking just the other day that it would be nice to see more of Kajsa on your channel. And baam there she is. How did that happen I don't know, but cannot complain really, good video. And generally I like lead climbing videos you've done recently, but just as much I enjoy bouldering and brushing Tor and stuff. So yea just keep it all coming for sure!
I love watching Kajsa climb, she is so methodical and precise with every movement, not to mention strong as hell! Would love to see you guys do more lead climbing for sure
She's super awesome 😍😍
One of favorite episodes because I can relate so well. Lead climbing requires such strong mental game, something that I work on every time I do routes, and it's nice to see a professional climber like Kajsa faces the same fears that the rest of us face.
So good! Being a woman I really appreciate when you have ladies in the videos! You guys are great in all but I can learn more from watching them. Kajsa is such a beautiful powerful climber! I’m working on healing a shoulder injury so this is encouraging 💕
I love lead videos :) i really enjoyed Eric leading in magnus’ video, it would be cool to see some more of that ☺️
Can we also appriciate how good her belayer was ? :) Also really strong work from her + nice editing, liked it. Btw a friend of mine started studying in stockholm, maybe he will visit u guys :) !
Emil lead climbing nikken too!!!!
We miss Kajsa! Hope she's doing alright.
Music is on point in this one!
Someone's been watching Thomas Heaton's videos lately Eric?
Can't tell you how much I appreciate the fact that you're covering the 'mental game' of lead climbing. Great video!
I am such a kajsa fan! I had shoulder surgery 5yrs ago, and i'm just now being able to climb again, so i'm happy to see Kajsa back. Also i would love to see more lead climbing with eric, emil, tor, mikken, norea, and of course Kajsa.
Your lead videos are fantastic, the camerawork is brilliant and the climbing is always superb. Great to see Kajsa back, she is incredible!
Nice video. It is so nice to watch her climb! She has such a nice cool flow!
Loved this video! So inspiring. Yes, more lead climbs please, and more women lead climbers too. This video inspired to climb harder & be braver!
I saw Kajsa win the Nordic lead championships in Århus a couple of moths ago, her mental game seamed strong for the final route.
This was a growth video with her emotions and her way of working hard. One of the best videos in a while
Lead climbing with Tor!
your leadclimbing stuff is at least as high quality as your bouldering videos, Eric! I'm super impressed with your elevator filming skills! top notch!
Thanks man :D
Kajsa is such a world class climber, its great to see her do longer routes, we can learn so much from her! Glad she is injury free!
I just got back into lead climbing after 4 years! And I sucked, so pls make more lead videos!!!! So I will be more inspired to lead! I have too much inspiration for bouldering already 😂
Yes I’m personally a lead climber and therefore I would like to watch more lead videos👍🏻Thanks:)
Look, each climber has their own story, and as a climber I don't want to criticize a fellow climber. But I think there is a difference in the fear factor between a gym fall, with zero chance of injury, and a runout 4 metres above a manky cam placement because you need to keep the number 2 camalot for further up the climb. Its like Juventus claiming "No Fear"; what do soccer players fear? Losing their Nike sponsorship? Fear is knowing you could end up in a spinal ward in the next 10 seconds, but still choosing the right gear, choosing not to grab the quickdraw, controlling the panic.
Kajsa is fucking Next Level, how she crimp, and how she hooks, this is beautiful. good job guys, pls more!!!
best vid in one year ;) ... nice to see her again
I love everything about this video! Kajsa is fantastic. It's great to have her back and the music choice is on point, but what I love most about this video is how authentic it is. It feels so genuine to watch Kajsa openly and honestly work through her fears. It's a struggle almost all of us can personally relate to. Thanks for creating and sharing this awesome content!
Welcome back, Kajsa! Been waiting for you to appear in Eric's videos again, you're such an inspiration!
Kajsa is an artist of motion. Amazing to see. And the production of this episode was amazing too. So, ten out of ten!
this girl is a BEAST! Congrats on the commitment...More lead please
Yyeesss, more sport climbing, i really dont understand why eric karlson BOULDERING only does bouldering, Doesnt make sense!!!!!
haha ;D
Ah true makes sense. So karlsson isn't his middle name and bouldering isn't his last name
Very interesting to see the climbing style. Mind-game... yes it is, but also very physical.
I like to see Kajsa climbing!
.
Definitely more lead climbing. I love the bouldering, but I just started to lead myself. It's very humbling and would love for some beginner videos of lead climbing as well.
Not only a great climber, but I'm also very impressed by how honest she is about her progress. A very tough and independant individual.
Have I missed lead climbing video with Erik and Emil,or when will it come? And more lead climbing videos with others also. 👍🏻🤩
I’m a paraclimber and I don’t boulder, I can’t take the fall. I really enjoy EKB but would enjoy more routes cause that’s what I do
Lead video + Kajsa 👍👍.
One idea for possible minor improvement next time: maybe mute the video mic in editing while the lift is raising.
Kajsa! I was hoping it was a bouldering vid. But im happy with anything kajsa :) More Kajsa!
That Girl is ripped and strong, her mental game is way better than she thinks it is, just because she tried over and over again!
Respect and keep crushing guys and girls. :D
you guys push so many of us to train hard and we love climbing, you inspire us.
MORE LEAD
This is a very special story to tell and awesome to catch on video. It meant a lot to my wife to see such an epic post-surgery triumph. Fear can be a specific beast and I am glad that Kajsa stepped into the ring to fight it!! :)
Oh yes, more lead !!!! I understand it might be more difficult to shoot (the gym has to be empty to use your engine), but the result is always worth it. For me at least =)
It's really good to see you again Kajsa! Eric's channel retrieve another brave one again! thank you for epic video. got some motivation!
I would love more lead climbing videos! I also haven't commented on a video in 10+ years, but I loved this one.
Well fought! I feel sooooooo identified but not in 8a’s in my case haha keep it on guys! Greetings from Spain!
Aamazing video, thank you so much for sharing this personal video!
2800+ likes, 5 dislikes. I think this is the best like/dislike ratio I've ever seen on UA-cam. Solid video.
what? how many kilos has she added in her frame? A also: More videos with lead climbing guys it was awesome!!
Definitely more lead climbing videos. That would be awesome.
Nnimn C. 8))
Very powerful. Nice to see someone else struggling with this fucking stupid illogical fear as soon as it gets hard and a bit above the bolt.
She is hands down one of my favorite climbers. Hope to see alot more of her on your channel, and i hope she has a full recovery.
I relate so much!!! I have so many fears about lead climbing based on unfounded fears like that and its nice to see I am not the only one who fears lead climbing like this.
Yayyy Kajsa! Yes I would love to see more lead climbing videos! Really enjoyed it!
Man she wanted that bad! Hopefully see you back again. :-)
My take away from this episode was.... . . It's ok to fall.
Please have more vids in the tunnel, especially when Magnus comes back.
More lead please :). I'll still love the channel without it though!
More lead climbing!!!! Was sooooo stoked when i saw the title, and more Kajsa as well!
can i know little more about Kajsa injury recovering and how she come out so strong back,
Yeah, absolutely more lead climbing. Good video!
She made it look easy. Could've done without the lift sounds
I think also climbing is much about mental things once you train enough you go a lot of climbing its much about overcomming fear, comitting
More Kajsa is always good I love watching her climb.
holy jeez she has gaied sooo much muscle... what a bloody beast
PS: But I prefer the bouldering videos
Such a nice style of climbing and a lovely gril. Would like to see more of her
