This was a helpful video. I lost my daughter in July and she chose to donate her corneas. I found it filled in some of the gaps of what happened to her corneas. Bless these 2 boys. Thank you for this video. ❤
That kid was so well-behaved. Even when he was in pain and clearly didn't want them doing what they were doing, he held still and let them do it. What a great kid.
It's so heartbreaking to see anyone suffer but when it's a child It's so much harder May God bless and touch all children Thank God for great Doctors and nurses
That baby boi been through so much he was so sick of being sick and in the hospital, it was very clear everything exhausted him. Bless his little heart. I wonder how he is doing now.
I had 3 corneal transplants also, but none worked. The surgeries did a lot of damage which resulted in an enucleation. I now have a prostheses which I hate. I hope to God that little boy just gets better and better. I only saw the big E one day. By the second day I couldn't see it ever again.
So glad the nurse believed the kiddo that using alcohol would help with removing the dressing. These stories are so much realer than others I have seen where the kids always seem to be in a good mood and except for going into the OP they never seem to cry or fight with the staff. Feel sorry for the boy getting his cornea transplanted. My husband has had 2 done in each eye and they have rejected at this point.
I love this video.. these children are so brave and gives me courage to work on the problems I have to work on my self which are not at all as serious as what these guys are going through. God bless
I hate all the horrible advertisements. Right in seeing the poor children suffering, you get everything ruined by an advertisement. Honestly, every 5 seconds??? How's that necessary?
I'm expecting to undergo cornea transplant anytime the the tissues are found and I'm really afraid what will happen afterwards I hope God will help me overcome this problem have heard since I was young I'm 23 now
I’ve heard that there are a couple of scientists in my native country of Sweden who are developing a vaccine that will potentially cure all cancers. Give them the Nobel Prize if they succeed!! ❤️❤️

Bubba? He passed away sadly
What date and year he passes
Two of the cutest kids ever,...I’m so happy everything worked out,...for the most part . Today these little guys are like 30.
Bubba died as a child unfortunately
@@marieked it’s creepy to know we’re watching a dead person..

I know I’m still a kid, well yk, myself, but I can’t imagine what it would be like to see your own kid going through something like this 🥺
It’s so much worse than having the same problem yourself.
You know it's been about 20 years since this aired. I wish they would have given a final update tacked on at the end.

Thank God they’ve recovered❤️
:( my heart hurts so much seeing this boy. No little kid deserves to go through this much pain.
You all are miracles. I am so proud of all of you 👍✌️😃🤩😉💓💓💕💕💖💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As a mother whose daughter was an eye donor it was as nice to see this. I hope, if need be, another cornea can be tried some day.
Btw,...in the description you have Tyrell instead of Tyler
Hi god bless handsome boy and his family to love you
"Uncomfortable" every doctor's word for painful
Lol so true!!
I pray they are well today. Would love an update

I think that kid looks pretty good with a cloudy eye! I'm sure he's like 30 now based on his moms hair style 😂

I saw two ads wym
He's named Costa
Tyrell's a champ even though he was a bit nervous about the mask on his face. It's really not the most pleasant thing in the world.
Is bubba still alive in 2020
Allison Meyers what’s his name? (I know bubba is his nickname)
No he died sadly.
@@mariekedufresne53 Couldn't find anything about him.
Lea Leiby I found his grandmothers or grandfather’s obituary (can’t remember) and in it it says predeceased by Kosta “bubba” Lombakis.

Ps. Does anyone know Tyler's surname?
When were these videos made? They’re only being posted recently, but they look like they’re from the 90’s lol
Late 90s early 2000
I think
1999-2000
Wonder if there's such thing as a retina transplant?
Rachel loves Jesus no, not as such but they have done research and been able to repair an area of damaged retina.
I'm going to ask my G.coma dr about retina repair next time I see her.🙂
Two transplants since 1998? How old is this documentary??
The quality of the recording and the parents hair styles seem contradictory to me haha. Lots like 2000s footage but parents stuck in the 1980s
Circa 1998-2002 I believe…used to watch this show when I was like 6-7 so about 20 years ago it aired
@@buffya8012 Oh wow, thank you!!
It was a tv show, 1999-2000 ish
@@marieked Oh wow so not long after. Thanks!
This looks like it’s from the early 90’s
That’s a crazy looking byakugan
