I loved Aaron’s story! The respect for his lived experiences was beautiful to see. They asked what he wanted, included him in decisions, cared what he said. Perfection!
This episode completely enthralled me! Doctors found I had a massive Atrial Septal Defect days before my 47th birthday, which of course was present at birth. By that time it had already done irreparable damage, it caused Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, diagnosed on my birthday. So, now at 56yrs old I continue to live with it. Plus, I have had bones in my right foot fused. Because, they were clicking as I walked, causing pain. All of these kids are so sweet. Loved the young man's sass, the baby's sweetness, the girls resilience just bouncing back after eye surgery and the young woman so nonchalant about breaking her arm. Like just another day in life, no big deal! Wish I had that athleticism!! To you all: Keep going!!
When a child is diagnosed with A serious disease or illness it's almost numbing, it's like there's no time for real fear. Bless these kids and all kids who are in hospital!!
Wow - I worked for doctors and Nicu’s in Arizona and usually these days they can see that on the hi risk ultrasounds. Poor baby & prayers! 🙏💖🙏 He’s a little angel and what amazing parents!
It would be nice to see this series again but with completly new cases. This series covers quite old cases but medicine is developing so fast, so it would really be intersessting to see the same hospital and cases in the year 2022.
I had that same eye surgery 30 years ago and I’ll tell you mine didn’t go as well as hers. I was in extreme pain for days and I started getting migraines and still have them today.
Aaron is such a sweetheart and he has beautiful hair.💗 😊
