I love the strength and pluckiness of Julia. I also appreciate the way people have tried to help her and have learned from her perhaps more at times than she from them.
The beauty of community and friendship is seen as well. Julia has a lovely spirit about her for all she has had to fight in her life to live “normal” and feeling the judgmental”ness” of so many. I can’t help but imagine her children would say she’s one of their heroes. Just seeing little Ayla and how very intelligent she is… and how amazing her Mama is.:)
I’m so happy she ended up with a family.

this is such a beautiful story! i cried a few times. i can relate to this story because i was on heroine and also died 3Xs and ive been on the methadone program for 6 years clean. i take care of my mom who is in a wheelchair. i feel as though i have purpose and will never want to go back to drugs, i never want to feel sick like that again. so trust in your Dad, he loves you (and your mom it seems :) )

This has been the best reunion story yet for these very special people. It's proof that love never dies for so many. I wish them a long & healthy life together, if they had their own series, I'd for sure watch it. EVERYONE deserves a second chance when they prove they deserve it & Jazz & her mom are amazing people for giving him another chance.

Unfortunately, her mother died, December 2013 and Jazz died June 2022. Her father is deceased, also.
