Absolutely, please do not mistake my posts for trying to tell you you should not believe in god. If being a christian makes you feel good, then i'll be the first to support you in your believes. My life motto is that everyone should do and believe that what makes him/her feel good, as long as he/her does not get in the way of other peoples happiness.

I have to admit that i lost my faith in god after a very long disease has hit me personally. But i would not say that is the main reason i stopped believing in god. I think its only the cause. From that moment i left the world i had lived in so far. Christian school, christian scouting, church, family. And with that the indoctrination stopped. I started to think outside of the christian box and that lead me to my current believes.
Actually, i think you've got quite an extreme view on the subject of accepting christ is a ticket to heaven, no matter what. I think you'll find quite a lot of christians who will not agree with you here. The bible even says that you can not truly "be with god" if you commit heavy sins against him, other people or yourself. (1 john 3, 14-15)

Part 2: Little girl gets raped and/or murdered, why does god let that happen if he is allmighty? If he has a reason, i think he is a horrible god, and i do not want to praise him. But i choose to believe he cant do anything about it because he does not exist. I try to live a good life without hurting other people. Should there be a god to judge me after my death, i believe i can look him in the eyes with no regrets. If he sends me to hell for not believing in him, he is an arrogant jerk.
Furthermore, what about the 5 year old girl that gets horribly raped and murdered? K, lets say that the rapist/murderer will be severely punished after his death. What does the little girl buy for that? Nothing. Why did god not stop this from happening if he has the power. Some1 who just lets something like that happen will never(!) be praised by me. I allways find it a little strange that lots of christians only try to live "good" out of fear for hell and stuff.
