Emma if you haven't seen the movie Family dinner. I highly recommend it. It's a slow burn but definitely worth the pay off. It's a brilliant horror movie and I've been checking your videos to see if you've reviewed in the past and it seems you haven't. I saw it last night and it blew me away. Please check it out

Exhuma very much looking forward to. The Hangman could be fun, and Devil's Bath has some elevated horror potential. Most of those don't look great based on the trailers. But you never know.
Gotta be honest, I'm starting to get religion, mental health & illness/virus horror fatigue. I'll probably give Nightmares & Daydreams, Queen Rising and Blackwater Lane a try.
You should really really see Ken Park. It's a Larry Clark/Harmony Korine collaboration, made after Kids. It's very difficult to find since it was never distributed anywhere but France (though it's an American film). You have to either buy it or rip it illegally. It's not crazy expensive to buy a copy of it. Most of the reason it wasn't distributed is the very last scene. I'll let you find out what happens yourself.
The Devil's Bath definitely on my watchlist, i didn't know about it and the trailer looks so good. I already watched Exhuma and the first hour and a half is precisely what i look for: shamans, rituals, asian esotheric knowledge and hidden mysteries... i couldn't ask for more! Then in the remaining 30 minutes, it takes a direction slightly less interesting for me.
I currently like both movies the same. Hard for me to decide which is better lol. tho Pearl is one of the best prequels I’ve ever seen. I’m very excited to see MaXXXine when it releases
I just saw "Under Paris" and I was kind of underwhelmed. It has a great premise, reminds me of "Sharks In Venice" (2008), but it still felt like a sharksploitation flick with a bigger budget. The shark is not a megalodon, despite what the poster shows. Overall, I gave it a score of 5/10.
I was hoping to see Horror in the high desert 3 in June's list... Is it possible that you just missed it or you don't have interest for this film, or there's no chance to be released not even this month?
The Devil’s Bath sounded like a description of “Pearl”, well, at base level at least. But I’m gonna keep an open mind and watch it and see what contrast exist. As I’m sure there are other context to the movie that probably play a part in the story and character motives and such.

I own Ken park, I didn’t think it was that difficult to find, I’ve had the dvd for a decade. I’ve seen most of Larry Clark’s films.
