- Clips from super8 stop motion and live action movie that I shot shortly after Disney released the Love Bug (almost 40 years ago). The film was projected onto a white paper and videotaped. This was done as a quick experiment and some of it is out of focus and it flickers. The actual full length of this super8 film is 30 - 40 minutes.

I can’t remember how many times I made you show me these movies. Then, I went home and tried to do the same with pathetic results. Thanks for being a creative inspiration nonetheless.
That will always go down as being one of my absolute favorite "Super 8" films that you've ever put together, Bonedaddy! haha. I just love it.

this reminds me of when the movie came out, our neighbour at the time was the manager of the local VW dealers; he gave me and my brother some big promotional stick on "hippie flowers" with "Love Bug" printed on them...which we plastered all over my Dad's beige (off white) 1960 Beetle, much to his chagrin. Poor Dad, he had to drive around in a flower power Beetle for 6 months (After which the car got a new green paint job!)
