Yoo thanks for not only making a (second) tutorial, but also for sharing your files and folders for us. Really appreciate the effort you put in all of this.
I'm impressed by how much you've managed to improve the ToonTuber engine between iterations! Though i do use an existing PNGtuber engine within SAMMI, it's nice to see variations and easy access to more cool software!
OH In case it helps anyone! Cus I got stuck on this with both of these tutorials but I figured this out! If you don't know what you're doing with the scene and the greenscreening, you are supposed to just leave the tuber occupying the whole scene and then _on the scene you're _*_actually going to be using,_* you can go to Add > *Scene,* and then put the entire tuber scene in there. I had been struggling with this cus it seemed like that would be the sensible thing to do but I could not figure out how to do it?? but when he explained in this video that you can add the greenscreen to the _scene itself,_ not to the individual items (like I had done XD), that got it to click and then I finally found the button I was missing haha So just go to your *normal scene,* or create one, which will have all your UI, game capture etc etc, and right click in the right-hand box and hover over the Add section, or click the plus sign at the bottom, and then there is one in the list called *Scene.* If you applied the greenscreen ( *Chroma Key* ), to the tuber scene as he shows in this vid, then you can jsut resize it as needed.
Also, my character has a blue body, with more purplish markings, green eyes, and pink mouth insides and blushies. so I had to use a colour wheel to find the colour that was farthest away from any other colour/tone on my character to use as the chroma key. you can manually set your own colour and adjust the sliders until it feels comfortable. Be aware that an antialiasing artifact halo will require more tollerance on the chroma key which can cause it to bleed into other colours, so you want the outside of your outline to be as rigid as possible. I ended up saving mine as APNGs, but I think Gifs are also supposed to work, just be careful if your export is getting downscaled cus that will most likely cause antialiasing on the outline. A little is fine, but the more there is, the harsher the chroma key has to be, and that can cause bleed with the transparency.
@@fluffyxai5065 btw have you encountered an issue where upon pressing a hotkey for a different animation, your entire tuber just dissapears until you reopen the program and have to manually find the folder with sprites again?

Thank you so much for posting this guide and giving us the tools to make this style of puppet. The face tracking style of V-Tubing has a bit too much of an uncanniness for me, but your Toon-Tubing setup seems to have so much more freedom of expression, even though it's limited to voice-activation and key binds. I've been putting off making videos (mainly out of shear laziness), not only this has this inspired me to learn how to animate, but it has lit a fire. As cheesy as it sounds, thank you so very much for this gift.
