It took me like 3-4 days to get through all of this, but I finally got through this whole thing and it was super enjoyable to watch from start to finish! I actually fully agree with your #1 too, which I wasn't expecting going into this, but it would be my #1 too. When I first saw that level and impeccable final boss fight when I was 12, I was absolutely blown away and me and my friends would replay JUST that level for fun tens to maybe even hundreds of times. Well, I didn't make the video, however I have a good frame for reference on how much storage it mightve taken up
I currently have 7 hours of raw footage for a minecraft challenge I did, all together only taking up about 50 gb
Given odyssey mightve had around that amount of footage (maybe more) for this video, I would say this video was probably under 100 gb big, so you wouldn't really need a huge hard drive for it, just a lot of unused space

I ate away at this video slowly since it came out and I just finished it and I got some things I have to say. Honestly this video was awesome and it was really cool seeing levels that I grew up with on wii or the DS games and reunlocking those memories, so thanks for that. With regards to the single thing I feel worth mentioning: NSMBW World 3-5 ( The Second best on/off ice based one on this list. The vertical one with the rotating mushroom block). I cant help but bring up the single greatest revenge story of all time. If you haven't watched the in-game "super skills" playthrough of this level, I HAVE to recommend it as it is so funny. Now I have got to mention some of the things that I really really liked in this video and thought you should know.
- This level of editing throughout the entire video must've taken forever as with all of the research for all of the levels.
- The clips that were shown off where Mario is just always finding the worst possible ways to die had me laughing throughout the video. The best were when it cut right before.
- The Memes throughout
- "So it was YOU who started this!" - directed at the first auto-scroller
- The top tier music choices
- That stupid joke about the search parties at the very end had me laughing harder than any YT video before for whatever reason 💀
- A Jack o' lantern MAUAHAHAHA

Damn, I can't believe I actually watched through all 7 hours of this in 1 day, I really have no life.
Anyway, this video was absolutely incredible! It's an absolutely insurmountable feat ranking all of these levels, and the fact that you did all of this really speaks volume of your dedication to mario and youtube stuff. There were a lot of stuff I disagreed with in this ranking, (such as NSMBW 8-7 being 274 spots lower than it should have...) but still, I can't ignore all of the effort that went into this video. Congrats on getting 200k, (almost 250k now...) you certainly deserve it!

First off, I wanted to say how much respect I have for you putting in the whole 7.25 hours into ranking every damn level in the 2D series. I grew up with the nostalgic Mario games in my household and I have very find memories of them. I was super curious to see your rankings for some of them in particular, and I enjoyed it a lot. Here's my comments:
- I agree with NSMBW being higher than NSMBU in most of the later rankings. While U was more creative in some aspects of the levels, I really have fond memories of W's gameplay and style. I still find myself playing through it on my old Wii cause it's so fun. Not saying U is bad but I do prefer W.
- I 100% agree with the #1 choice (and yes I have played every one of the 2D Mario games). I actually suspected you'd put it up in the top 5 and I was hoping that you put it in the #1 spot. My wish was fulfilled :)
- I'd argue that World's Bowser's Castle should be a bit higher due to how creative it was for it's time (before I get those replies saying SMB3's castle had a similar gimmick I say screw that, world's castle is better in every way). I remember playing through it over and over because of how much fun it was. That bowser fight was awesome.
- Glad to see I'm not the only one that messes up that jump in Run for It on the moving blocks lol.
- 9-7 in W is awesome and I'm super glad you put it up where you did.

I’m so glad you did this! I was always wondering if anyone would do this, but always thought “no, of course not!” But then here you are! Great job! Congratulations on reaching 243k subs, and completing one of the longest videos on UA-cam!
NSMB2 happens to be my second favorite New Sup game, and a lot of the levels from it that you have up near the top are very well designed, and even some of the auto scroll and water levels are pretty good amongst those categories. Even if it turned out (on average) lower than the others in this ranking, its highs are still very good.
The views went from about 11k to 33k in the time it took me to watch the whole video.
Also, I like how you saved Cool Bowser for closer to the end.
As much as I would like a ranking of every Mario enemy (mainline games only) for your 300k special, I’d say you deserve a break! You’ve absolutely earned it!

Just finished the video and after watching, I have some thoughts. For starters, why didn’t anyone tell me Super Mario All-Stars removed the requirements for Worlds A-D, that would’ve saved my sanity a lot more.
But second of all, I think this video was fantastic. It perfectly conveys what makes Mario games so enjoyable, even despite how bland some of their aesthetics can be. The amount of dedication and love poured into both these games and this video shouldn’t be ignored. What a fantastic Subscriber Special!
Just enjoy a week or so of a break, I think you definitely deserve it after this maddeningly massive task, and hopefully we get Dry Bones in Smash someday.
