Enjoyed this. It reminded me when I left home at 17 to hitchhike alone up to Canada in 1971. Im 70 now. That experience changed me for life. Well done.
Thank you for sharing your Camino with us. I walked it in 2013 and I'm still in contact with my Camino Family even though we live half a world apart. BUEN CAMINO!
Omg….I LOVE this. 100% love it. I have been hooked on watching Camino UA-cam’s since I found out about it last year. I saw a documentary on the Camino (on an Emirates flight last year) and I knew I had to do it too. I can’t walk the Camino until my daughter graduates in 2025 but I am well on my way to planning. After watching perhaps hundreds of these UA-cam’s over the past year I have to say that yours is in my top 3. It was such a raw and honest account of the journey (as I imagine it.). Everyone is so transparent and open. A great number of these videos online show the upbeat side and the pilgrims accomplishments. But they choose to pretend the struggles and emotional aren’t a part of their journey. They don’t keep it real. Yours is as imagine it will be. Good days, not so good days, emotions, physical challenges and all of the things the Camino brings. I wish there were more like this. And if these young people are an indication of the new emerging adults, then I feel very hopeful for the future of humanity. They are all so inspiring. Each and every one of them. Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. It has made a difference to me and I’m sure a lot of others as well. ❤❤❤
I hear so many people say that they have learned not to worry about the little things or even the big things. Then they return home to friends and family, that have not realized their own shortcomings or how they contribute to the unhappiness of others. Many have cut ties with people that they come to realize drain their spirit. It's different for everyone. I have not done this journey, but am here to get inspired, and hoping I will do this journey soon.
Amazing work you are doing teachers! I could see how the kids faces brightened up having gone through the wonderful journey and learning so much about themselves and life. Creating so many more ripples every time you guide a group.
Loved the Video.... I used to be a neighbor sorta. Ashby MA. Had an aunt the was at FPU a few years ago. Love what you do with these kids. I will be heading out on my Camino next April for my 60th B-day. Take care
Nice video, thank you! My wife and I just returned, from doing the león to Santiago portion, I biked she hiked, both alone, two different experiences, both amazing, going back in May to do more. I intend to cycle another 1/3 and then hike, everyone should find their own Camimo, and whatever way you decide is the right way. 🙌
great stuff! I have missed videos like this over the last several years, that show the Camino in one video. Praying you all are doing well these years on!
Thank you for creating and sharing this wonderful video. At the end, I hope the students appreciated the amount of time you both took away from your family and friends to help them appreciate the gift of life. I plan to keep walking Caminos until I am a lot older, like your friend Martha, and I cried with you Laurie when you shared the news of her passing. I've learnt from past Caminos that your life can be simpler if you allow it to be and don't criticise others who haven't had that realisation yet. 😀Also the soundtrack was beautiful.

Thanks for this film. I really enjoyed it. I'm newly obsessed with 'the camino' and plan to start this year. How I wish I had done it years ago before it got so busy!! I think I will need to forego the best weather in order not to feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of pilgrims. Since I carry some joint issues I will do the Portuguese route (just Oporto to Santiago) and the Camino Ingles this year - but at separate time. Then see if the Frances feels like a possibility.
Thankyou for sharing a wonderful film. I havent walkwd the Camino yet but might this september. To see everyone get so much out of it is really inspiring. 🙏
Thank you! It is an emotional journey for me also to see again all this places and experiences. Thank you for the cry. I loose a Camino friend in the Camino, when we walking together. It was a shock. But his eife told me... At least his die happy. And much more feelings comings up right now. Thanks! ❤️
About the fear packing, well some of it its true. Funny things at least for me its not a "fear", its more of my "home" or personal items i feel comfortobable with and that protects me from actually getting "fears" that have happen to me. For example, my walking poles against pain or fatuigue, my sock layering system or shoes against blisters, or electrolytes against getting dizzy. I am talking on experience! So on my last camino i actually found out that, ill rather carry one more! and for example more underwear to avoid go commando like I did couple of days due to wet clothing 😂
Great video! Thanks for posting. I hope Sam is still O.K. It looked like she was developing edema in her legs from walking too much. Best of luck to everyone in the video.
Amazing video wow nice to hear everyone's story along the way, it will just a dream for me unfortunately but it was great to see you guys all doing this and I felt I was there with you, well done. (UK) Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful perspective on the journey. I leave at the end of August to start my journey. Thank you for sharing your experiences. What a great opportunity for the students (wish I had thought of such a thing! ;)
Doing the Camino in a group is like travelling with a Dictator. You need a rest day at a certain point, but you are not allowed. The schedule! That's why I did my three Caminos alone. Forth one coming this autumn 😊
A la parte más bella e interesante del Camino, su recorrido por GALICIA, le dedicáis sólo el 23% de vuestro reportaje.Y el paso por Santiago de Compostela, un visto y no visto. Una pena.
Just discovered this walk across part of France and Northern Spain via a UA-cam suggestion. Looks so interesting. I wonder what time of year this is? Another person, and husband who also posted their walk experience began the walk in later April, if I'm correct, and they saw such a profusion of different types of Spring Flowers, and, at times, cold mornings warming in the afternoons.
We walked the Camino Frances April 2-April 22, 2019. Flowers were blooming everywhere. We had snow showers the 1st day leaving St John. Beautiful and an added treat!
Could you please activate the translation into other languages? Even for Portuguese speaking countries.... ok? I would like to follow the narratives ;) Hugs from Brazil !! Thanks ! 🚶🚶🚶🌿🕊️
Wow you lot like to torture yourselves. Especially given you stayed in hostels. Those packs are insane and totally unnecessary. I go out for 7 days plus camping at a time with my dog and can do that with a 20 litre pack with a 6.8kg base weight. Anyway. Glad you all had this experience here in Spain and thanks for sharing this film.
Hi do you need to make reservations in those hotel/ shelter / inn / beds in those places you decided to stop or sleep and eat . Or you can just walk in and pay … ? Thanks
I'm shocked at how much all these kids carry, especially in light of the fact that they don't carry and cook their meals and don't camp. Is it possible to do this and camp most of the way, or are hostels the only reasonable way?
Mortgage possible to camp this yes. And you are totally correct, the ammount of kit they are all carrying is insane. I can do 7 days out camping with my dog using a 20 litre pack with a base weight of 6.8kg. I wouldn't even contemplate doing this hike with a 50 to 60 litre pack on. Not needed at all.
I don´t know how heavy your packs were, but they looked very heavy. Normally, the all of you should have had pack weights from 10 to 12 percent of your body weight, only the basics for such a journey.
i am so sorry fo sam, if ever she walks a longdistance hike she should take the homeopathi remedy rhus toxicodendron and ask a trained naturopath for the type of strength, little doses of D6 or one ------C 30 cudo to you all

Te animo a ello. Es un viaje quizá más interior que exterior.
Amazing work you are doing teachers! I could see how the kids faces brightened up having gone through the wonderful journey and learning so much about themselves and life. Creating so many more ripples every time you guide a group.
What a beautiful story of each person on their journey. Very well done and inspiring
Beautiful film. Thank you for making it for us.
Thank you for watching.
Loved this. After having finished the Frances recently myself, I was really impressed with the students and it all brought back memories. Buen camino

Really good. It was nice to see everyone open up like a flower at the end.
I hope this isn’t the peak, keep chasing those dreams! 🇬🇧

Nice to get a teens perspective on this journey even though I am learning that we all have a story at any age. We are all searching for something.

This was fun to watch. I have a question, what’s up with those super heavy boots?
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. How many days you stayed in Compostela?.. did you walk to Finisterre on the next day ?…..
Very great video , thanks to you ❤
thank you for a nice Camino adventure
I have always wanted to walk the Camino.
Someday soon I will.
🙏🙏🙏
💕💕💕
Maybe see you on it this summer! ☀️
@Lene Olsen, Hello from Denmark, Great job, good video and nice to see the students unfold :-)
Very, very well done. Thanks for sharing this. Some trail runners and 2 pair of socks could have prevented lots of blisters and foot challenges.

What month was this? I'm going late Fall of this year. I'm only walking the last 100 km because I don't have time.
It was late August through October. Have a great trip.

I can't watch this. Everyone seems so depressed and monotone. The adults have set the tone. I guess with the responsibility, that is hard not to do.
