That was an amazing place for only $150 a month. Unreal. AC, clean, front yard, and a decent bathroom. You're the guy who can find the deals for sure! Love the channel. :)
Wow all but the last need work doing to them, no furniture or very little. Would not rent a house that needs that much fixing up before I could move in. Better properties available for around the same price 3 to 5 km away from the beach. Living in Rayong for over 10 years I know there are better properties. Thanks for taking the time to show these.
All three get you in a nice area. The last one was the nicest but who needs that much space. I did like the pool and beach. Plenty options, thanks for sharing.😊
I generally don't watch the "Realtor" type videos but this was well done. More of an area look through and explanation than a specific house walk through. Informative and enjoyable. Thank you.
I love the B5k ,for the price and not being overlooked at the back .( in fact having a nice view out back ) .The 2 or 3 km to the beach is nothing if you have a motorbike or even a bicycle .

The first one. $150. Great for a single person I am moving from Vegas to Bang Sare soon. I hope there are some reasonable priced accommodations there. Love the videos!!
The 5000 baht house 🏡 is a great deal! I really need to move, it would be 2-3 k in my area in the US. The 9000 baht house seems nice too considering it’s close to the beach, the covered patio area looks pretty chill. The fixer upper 2 story house (with urinal 😂) could be worth it if they’d do a 3 + year lease. The gated community with the pool is finished nicely, a slightly smaller house in that area with more covered parking would be perfect.
I had a 1 bedroom very small apartment that I was paying about $650 a month in rent. That was the cheapest place around in a nice middle-class neighborhood in Waterford, Michigan. The last 3-bedroom house you looked at was $50 cheaper and was huge compared to my 1-bedroom apartment.
@@Thai.Farang I was just pointing out the huge difference between the prices of the 2 places. I hope that is okay with you. I sure didn't want to raise your dander and have you make an issue out of it.

Great rental review, really gave a wide variety of options from very inexpensive to (I won’t say expensive) a little pricier…..hope people looking for a house use this to help them understand what to expect living in Thailand 😃

This was indeed an informative video - thanks for sharing it with us! But, for a solo expat, even the 5K THB place looks to be too big. In my own case, everything I need to live comfortably would easily fit in the common/entry room, with space to spare. The bedrooms would be unused storage space, which I would hate to spend the time (or extra money to hire someone) to keep clean. Also, the larger space equates to higher aircon electric bills. Bigger is not always better! :) Are there any homes, in the same areas, with only a single bedroom? If so, how much could one expect to save on rent?
Really informative. I'd love to see some houses that had good views of the beach. With a good beach view, would the one for 20k become 30k or 50k? I don't know how much of a premium you have to pay for an unobstructed view.
yeah 9,500 would be around what im looking for i only need 2 bedrooms so i do not want a large house no point, im not looking for a condo ive lived in them for 5 years so a house will ge me more outside space and storage
Maybe find out the purchase price of the houses too…… we’ve been looking for a pool villa near the beach for 3 months now but you can forget about that in Pattaya or Jomtien, rare and extremely expensive 😢

Lol, I don't know if you've been to Thailand but if you are comparing US 7/11 to Thai 7/11, it's not anywhere close to the same thing. In Thailand 7/11 is your friend.
I’ve seen houses in the price range of THB 10.000-15.000 in a much better condition in Map Ta Phut, Ban Chang, Pluta Luang and even Sattahip. Better to look in these areas people.

My preference is for the 2nd one but only if I was going to make it a permanent home as there is too much kitting out to do. Is there a danger that if you made any of these places more appealing that the rent would be increased because the owner sees you now have an improved place to live?
Thank you for showing. The last property makes a very good impression, the only thing missing is privacy. The first 3 properties are cheap, but absolutely uninteresting for me as a Falang, these are designed more for a Thai family.
Actually those indoor kitchens are "upscale." Many Thai houses have a little covered patio area behind the house to do most of the cooking, it keeps the heat out that way.
Fish. That's not how you keep the mosquitos at bay. If you actually can in Thailand. Nature balances. Not every mosquito gets eaten. You use mosquito dunks (they look like a donut, and they have bags of 'bits') wherever there's going to be standing water. You donate dunks to your neighbors. You empty water that gets left over after a rain from, in my case the ducts coming out of my gutters/downspouts. Something tells me Rides 4 Kickz already knows this.
I would take the 20,000 baht home. Very nice and for $600/month.

The comparative cheapness of property (both rental and otherwise) in Thailand continues to amaze me
You did a good job at surveying the apartments for rent.
Amazing prices even for Thailand. I've only stayed in Bangkok and my big studio off of Soi 71 was 13,500.
