I was in the front row and... I cried during this song, just like many others. It was truly special. Feeling everyone singing together hit me like a wave. It was such a powerful experience!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I’m aware the volume of my voice in these reaction videos is lower than the music. I’m sorry if it makes it hard to hear what I’m saying during the reactions. I’ll make sure to adjust the audio levels in future videos to improve this. Thanks for your understanding and for watching!
Hello. Lovley reaction as always 😊👍 I got an idea of what you should do if you feel like it! And that is to react to all Sabaton's songs in all the albums they have! What I mean is to go all in with Sabaton, Even if it will take time as you react to other music too!😊 But it makes absolutely nothing if it will take time if you decide to do this journey! I am sure you would have loved it and not regretted it! 😉 I want to recommend songs to you!😎 You can skip the ones you have already reacted to if you want! The valley of death Dreadnought Soldier of heaven Stormtroopers Steel commanders Kingdom come Defense of Moscow Fields of verdun A ghost in the trenches Great war official video Devil dogs 82nd all the way Seven pillars of wisdom All guns blazing The last battle Shiroyama 7734 Man of war Hearts of iron Killing ground The Carolean's Prayer Long live the king Metal ripper White death Coat of arms The final solution The price of a mile Cliffs of Gallipoli Metal Crüe Nightchild Back in control In the name of god Metal machine Purple heart Wolf pack Remember that it's perfectly okay to show emotions and cry when listening to music in reaction videos, etc. I love your channel ❤️ Sabaton has been my favorite band since they were formed 1999 in Falun here in Sweden!🇸🇪 Warm and kind greetings from a big Sabaton fan in northern Sweden (Västerbotten) 😎🇸🇪🇸🇪😎
The songs I suggested are from different albums with Sabaton! You don't have to react to the songs you've already reacted to, unless you want to of course! You decide of course! It should be fairly easy to find each album with accompanying songs on either UA-cam or Spotify! UA-cam should have all the videos for all Sabaton's songs! Animated, official videos etc! If you need help/tips, There are many of us in the comment field who can help you if you need help during this journey 😊 It will be very interesting to see and hear what you think of all their songs! If you do this journey!😊 And then when all the albums are finished, Please tell us which is your favorite album!😊🙏 Sabaton is also working on a new album! 😊 Warm and friendly greetings from Johan 😎🇸🇪🇸🇪😎
This concert was played in a hockey stadium called Scandinavium and there was 12000 people at that concert. It always gives me goosebumps when i see them all sing. This song is about a dark time in Swedens history when we where in the 30 year war. Sabaton is one of a kind combining history and metal.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Sabaton!! And what an amazing hole it is... They have several songs that will actually make you cry your eyes out... No Bullets Fly is an amazing start, and it has to be the animated story version.
Great reaction video!! As an Australian, I did learn Swedish for this song. I have been to a few Sabaton performances over the years, their lyrics are so powerful and I have learned things about history that I would not have known without them. Songs I would suggest from Sabaton Christmas Truce(offical music video), The Red Baron(animated story video), No Bullets Fly(animated story video) there are others so many great songs. They also have their own history channel here on YT, Sabaton History Channel.
The lead guitarist Tommy Johansson who didn't sing on this song, is of the greatest singers in rock music. I would recommend checking out his solo work and the other bands where he was the lead singer.
Yes please do reaction to Tommy Johansson, he is a great singer and plays 10-12 instruments. All you se and hear in his videos it's just Tommy ❤ He has a very, very deep rabbithole to fall in love with. I promise he gonna make you smile because he cant hide his love to music ❤
Yes, Tommy (rightmost guitarist in this MV) left Sabaton in beginning of 2024 due to time constraints; he has his own band "Majestica" as well as his own YT channel and couldn't fit everything in. Sabaton instead brought back their former guitarist Thobbe Englund to replace him.
great reaction, more Sabaton please. Sabaton is a Swedish band with a loooong list of history based music. Sabaton also has an award winning history channel that gives background to over 120 if their songs (not music award, academic, aimed at education of the public) . New subscriber here enjoyed the reaction. Sabaton has a song called “Smoking Snakes”which is about Brazilian soldiers who fought in the Second World War. In 2015, the song was performed by the Brazilian Army Orchestra as a thank you to the band.[9] In 2016, during the band's tour in Brazil, they visited Expeditionary Museum in Curitiba which honors the memory and sacrifices of the Brazilian Expeditionary Legion, who for 18 months trained and battled alongside the Allied forces during WWII. Also suggestions “No Bullets Fly” or “Christmas Truce “. Thank you
Nice reaction, I was at this show (sitting somewhere in the middle of the platform to the left from this view of the stage) Just before this clip started Joakim (the singer) said no one carries around a lighter anymore, but you all have phones, right? So turn on your lights for this one. Then at the start, he said totally wonderful, let's now sing together en livstid i krig. The album Carolus Rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from a time when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both a Swedish and English version, the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldier's view and the English more from an outsider's view. They had sold out the arena so we were 10 766 metalheads in the arena that night (going by facts online and in the newspaper after the show) Needless to say, it was one hell of a show that night.
I can't listen to this without crying. Amazing band, amazing song, and they are wonderful live. The text is poignant as we're looking at war very close to home.
I served in the military for 5 years and i taught my company to listen to Sabton songs, even as where i am from English/Swedish is not our native language, eventually i had to retire due to health complications not long ago. Soon i´ll be 31 years old and i hope my brothers in arms still sometimes listen to Sabaton and think about times we spent together.
Awesome song. Please watch the music video of "Christmas Truce" by Sabaton. Another powerful masterpiece about a true event. It also has a bit of a treat at the very end, also revealed at the ending credits.
Seeing a good reaction to my favourite metal guys, I HAVE to leave a like and a follow. Welcome to the HUGE rabbit hole of Sabaton. They are not only history nerds, awesome story tellers and musicians, but also SO awesome and down to earth nice guys that always take their time for the fans. Please explore more of their awesome songs, I'd be happy so see more here. Greetings from a German Sabaton fan for over 20 years.
First thing you should know for future videos is that you should never turn them off but let them run the course, quite often Sabaton have tidbits of history or comments at the end that you will miss if you do and with that miss a whole lot of the story. Second, if you like the story they sing about they have their own history channel, Sabaton History, here on UA-cam where they go through the historical facts behind the songs with a historian. Name one band that does that, who are that dedicated to their art. They're not only a band and musicians, they're modern day bards and skalds. Suggestions for more Sabaton songs: Christmas Truce, 1916 (a Motörhead cover), No Bullets Fly (animated version), Devil Dogs, 82:nd all the way, Swedish Pagans (live at Wacken 2019), Defence of Moscow just to name a few. The guitarist you saw up close on stage is Tommy Johansson and he's a great musician in his own right with a fantastic voice. He makes his own renditions of songs and releases a new one every week on his UA-cam channel. If you want to hear an amazing voice you ought to look him up and listen to his renditions of "You raise me up", "Phantom of the Opera", "Basket Case" or really any of the many songs he's covered. Welcome to the Sabaton Army, I hope your trip down the rabbit hole will be an enjoyable one.
Really good reaction! I do hope you will continue on this path down this rabbit hole that is Sabaton. You will come across so much fantastic music and videos. You already got a bunch of suggestiond, I second all, but IF I should point out something to begin with, do check out 'No bullets fly', the animerated story video. Once again, really nice reaction!
This song gets out the onion cutting ninjas for me! ^^ From Brazil? Smoking snakes i about the Brazilian expeditionary force in WWII! "In 1945 in Montese, Italy, a bloody battle ensued between Brazilian troops and the Germans. Three Brazilian soldiers, Arlindo Lúcio da Silva, Geraldo Baeta da Cruz and Geraldo Rodrigues de Souza, bravely fought against a much larger and much stronger force of German troops. They fought until they ran out of ammunition and engaged in close combat with their bayonets. They were immediately shot dead and the Germans buried them and placed a cross with the inscription “Drei Brasilianischen Helden” (Three Brazilian Heroes) on their grave." ;)
nice to hear that you liked it :) Sabaton have many good songs and all of them have meaning and history behind them. their music videos are something else, you are gonna have a great time watching this band :)
This is a song about the 30 years war of religion in the Holy Roman Empire, aka Germany. Swedish and Finnish blood bled on the side of the protestants.
Great reaction! 'Night witches' animated story and 'No bullets fly' will make you cry. You should listen to 'Smoking Snakes', about the brazilian Cobras Fumantes during the campaign of Italy 1943.
Well welcome to the Sabaton rabbit hole. Its deep and there is a Sabaton history channel as well that talks about the history that the band often covers in their songs. Since you are from Brazil I suggest the song "Smoking Snakes", about the Brazilians that fought in WWII against the Germans to liberate Europe.

Check out Tommy Johansson the lead guitarist in this song. He is absolutely fantastic! The best musician out there with a fantastic voice. All his covers are awesome, he never disappoints but I recommend to start with his cover of Aerosmith’s Dream On. I subscribed and hope for reactions to Tommy

ikea sofa
SPOILER ALERT !!!!!!!! there is zero reaction this entire clip. There is literally nothing to react to because every reactor already knows they are being lied too
please learn how to use a mic..
