    The seedling stitch isn't right. If anyone else is having problems with this like i did you're supposed to knit stitch instead of using the simple stitch like she did or else you end up with the honeycomb stitch.

    Pretty. The simple /purl pattern is called the honeycomb stitch. Love the colors. No hair on projects for me, I’m bald lol

    I always get hair in my crafts.
    I was wondering if you had a patterned yarn and wanted to just use that without having to change the colour for this pattern hoe it would look?

      I think it could be lovely! If you are wanting to have each color on its own separate row, you might have to do some math in order to ensure you don’t have a new color bleeding over into a row. But if that’s not an issue I’d say go for it!

    I believe it's a honeycomb stitch that you made - the one with a simple stitch, then a purl stitch.

    If I want a longer and wider blanket, do I need a bigger hook? I'm new at this, and everyone is making a small sample for the purpose of tutorial.

      Hi! To make it wider you would need to add more chains in the beginning. For each blanket you’ll need to make sure your chaining the recommended amount. For example, some blankets require an even number of stitches for a blanket. While others have formula of something like multiples of 8 + 2. What that formula means is you’d chain a multiple of 8 to reach your length, let’s say 80 would be enough for your length, then you’d simply add 2 more stitches on the end to make sure you have the correct amount to create the stitch pattern.
      As far as length goes, you’ll simply want to make sure you are repeating the row count (some patterns have a repeat of 2 or 4 rows) and then do that repeat until you get your desired length!

      @@Yarnhookneedles Thank you! If I am making a 120cm wide blanket, do I need a 120cm hook? If so, where do I find such hook?

    I love this tutorial and I want to try it, but in order to make a lap blanket, how long needs to be the size of the hook? Since the stitches need at some point to be worked out all along the length of the hook. Thanks for your help.

      @Yarnhookneedles  4 роки тому +1

      Martha Elena Morato Luna great question! You can purchase tunisian hooks which have a longer “tail”. Preferably the interchangeable Tunisian hooks work best. I can make a full size throw on my hook set. The stitches get pretty close together but it works perfectly 😉

    I have started this lovely blanket. But after doing 10 rows of the second stich following your directions my pattern is diffrent. Do you have a version of this video that shows more rows of the second stich? I would love to see what I did wrong so I can fix it.

    Thank You So Much! Beautiful! I am new to Tunisian crochet and I love the texture of this blanket. So excited to try something new. We have kids and fur babies, so I always end up with hair in my projects, that I'm constantly picking out. The hair in the blanket made me laugh 😂
