As Andre's mother I (we) are super grateful for the show. Despite being proven innocent in court people still like to talk about it. This changed our entire family dynamic. My son went through a lot of sadness and anger and this is just one step closer for Andre to continue to push forward and to remember how I raised him as a sweet and gentle man. If you’re his mother, then I’m glad he cleared his name but he should’ve said the word “NO” to his classmate when she asked him to touch her butt and her breast because these touches are very inappropriate. I’m thinking that his classmate must have been sexually abused by someone else because of the way she asked inappropriate questions to your son Andre. The next time you have a grandson, you got to teach him how to say NO when asking about bad touches on his body or his classmate’s body.

They only do this to little boys we hold them to a higher standard of the law even at a young age but for reason society will push this idea that girls mature faster than boys but we treat them the complete opposite.
If she were an adult i would agree, but being as she was a little kid too, i have to wonder if something didnt happen to her and she accused him. It was devastating to not be able to help him. He’s very successful now with a beautifu, loving wife and 2 beautiful babies but there were some really dark times!!! I’m so happy this young man was able to clear his name!!!!!

1998. When my oldest was in kindergarten…. Let me say it again. Kindergarten…. One of his classmates kissed him on the cheek. My son was suspended for a week. Why, you ask? Because the school was afraid the girls parents would sue them on the grounds their daughter was sexually assaulted on campus. The girls parents went to the school and argued this was ridiculous and unfair. They said, if anything, their daughter should have been suspended since she was the kisser. The school wouldn’t budge. They felt a five year old boy should know better. The girls parents kept their daughter out of school for the week in protest, and we got together daily so the kids didn’t feel like they were being punished. Crazy times.

We took it to the next step and got interviewed by police and kept the same stories. Finally the officers were threatening polygraph test and that’s when she finally confessed it didn’t happen. However I was never apologized to by the girl and her family or the school for treating me like I did it. I had witnesses and this happened in broad daylight in class but apparently that wasn’t good enough. The sad part is that she continued to ruin my character on social media even though it was proven I didn’t do anything. There are vile people in this world and never understand taking things to this level because they hurt your feelings

I worked at a group home boys 13-18 yrs old. We had a FEW young men in there that had sex with a girl that was a year to three years younger than him and the girls parents press charges! It was heartbreaking to see what these young men went through and to have the label on them forever! For the record the girl stated they were not raped(I read all court records coming into the facility).
Sucks that he felt the need to bring this up on a second date. Ridiculous that it’s still held against him by random strangers. Her mother was ridiculous for pressing charges without getting the facts straight. Kid was probably being molested by the mom’s bf or something like that. What if this boy had been found guilty? I can relate. In 5th grade a classmate (he liked to cause trouble) went to the teacher and informed her I had been speaking about having intercourse with another classmate. I didn't know the first thing about intercourse at that age. I was called into the hallway and belittled, yelled at, and harassed by teachers for over an hour. They told me if I didn't admit to them that they were going to take me to the principals office and I would be expelled. I didn't admit anything and that was the last I ever heard of it.

@@LordBattleSmurfI understand what you’re saying but like I said there’s nothing wrong with piercings and tattoos, if you prefer someone who doesn’t have that, then that’s a preference but nothing is wrong with that. having a past of being sexually or physically abused shouldn’t be held against anyone, being that she was never a consenting party to that. I understand what you’re saying because some people carry their baggage around and take their hurt or anger out on other people, but others take that pain and use it in positive ways and protect others.
I don’t want to touch on her being promiscuous or a single mother because neither one of us knows why and how she ended up in those circumstances. at the end of the day, we have no right to judge others because no one is perfect, and the only way to learn is to make mistakes so you shouldn’t be so harsh.

I worked at a group home boys 13-18 yrs old. We had a FEW young men in there that had sex with a girl that was a year to three years younger than him and the girls parents press charges! It was heartbreaking to see what these young men went through and to have the label on them forever! For the record the girl stated they were not raped(I read all court records coming into the facility).
I wonder what provoked her to lie on him.

Sucks that he felt the need to bring this up on a second date. Ridiculous that it’s still held against him by random strangers. Her mother was ridiculous for pressing charges without getting the facts straight. Kid was probably being molested by the mom’s bf or something like that. What if this boy had been found guilty? This garbage could have ruined his life more than it has. Registered sex offender at 12 for touching a butt?? Smdh. If that mother had any integrity she should apologize publicly to this young man.
Whoever made that false accusation against him, should be put into the registered sex offender registry.

I can relate. In 5th grade a classmate (he liked to cause trouble) went to the teacher and informed her I had been speaking about having intercourse with another classmate. I didn't know the first thing about intercourse at that age. I was called into the hallway and belittled, yelled at, and harassed by teachers for over an hour. They told me if I didn't admit to them that they were going to take me to the principals office and I would be expelled. I didn't admit anything and that was the last I ever heard of it.

Prime example of how our legal system is flawed . We say as a society that girls mature faster than boys but we handle it the complete opposite. How can a judge rule that a 12 year old boy should not what consent is but in the same breath say a 12 year old girl is too young to understand consent? This is no different than the drinking stuff where a man and a woman can be equal drunk out their minds but yet if something happens the man some how has to figure out a way to sober up or ignore his drunken thoughts .
