I knew she wasn’t lying bc she told every detail of the story
Liars can make up stories with endless details. I'm not saying she lied, just saying everyone's different.
I took psychology and quickly realized over her body language and her story she made a huge mistake but didn’t intentionally kill him
She still not innocent
well she may have told the truth but it doesn't change the fact that something did happened to that baby. I'm sorry but no-one is innocent until proven guilty🤔
That doesnt matter. She was making herself the victim. On top She did crack while pregnant. yeah the dad was trash but he wasnt pregnant with the baby. If she wouldnt have made him a crackbaby he may have been alive.
The way the son came out and immediately tried to check ONLY her had me pissed off. Like bro, your dad gave you coke, and yet you believe him?😂😂😂
I thought the same thing. I guess the dad has painted mum in a bad light for years.
@@shoshafogel4780I mean she’s equally as garbage
IKR! like dude look at your father
And the mom DID COKE WHILE PREGNANT, but yep, lets only blame dad 🤣🤣😂😂
@@trinak86 the dad likely did coke while carrying the sperm too

Steve: can you relate to this story?
Me: HELL NO
No literally like never will I allow any type of drugs around me or my children 😭
everytime i say "no baby none of us relate to this shit"😂😂😂
@@dnd555😂 I always say "no thanks" 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 !!!! That’s me every time. I remember there was an episode where the mother got pregnant by her daughters finance and Steve popped up in between takes saying “ Can You Relate To This Story ? “. No Steve, I cannot relate to this story 😂😂😂
Your very lucky that addiction and loss hasn't touched your life.
Who tf gives a 12 year old kid cocaine? 😨
Psychos 😞
She Was on Cocaine While She Was Pregnant with The Baby…
It’s 100000% disgusting, but I’m a little surprised the woman who let drugs into her unborn baby and was the reason he died can stand there and be shocked
That guy apparently 😮
It was probably a situation where the kid was curious seeing his dad do it, and his dad allowed him to try or something. Still extremely wrong. But I doubt he decided to sit him down and give him cocaine one day for the hell of it.
The dad have a lot of nerve to judge her when he was the one who gave his 12 yr old son cocaine!!!!!!!!! He's no better than her!!!!
And he jittery like he still on drugs
I think shes a little worse since her child was born addicted Yeah his dad wasnt great either trust me they are both garbage. But she did it while pregnant thats a little worse.
@@DarkMoonGeneralhe is complete and utter garabge, he is worse period. she tried her best to better herself whereas he did nothing
@WitchOfRain yep the woman who did DRUGS WHILE PREGNANT AINT garbage it's ALWAYS the man.... She's the bigger peice of sh!t plain and simple.....
@WitchOfRain so you disregard that she did drugs while pregnant..he was born addicted to Crack that was her .
Yes drugs are bad but she tried to give her baby a place to sleep that was not the floor 😞 I'm very sorry for your loss. She didn't create that baby on her own. I'm tired of those dead beat dad's that are not there for their kids!!!
So true
I love to see the positive comments on here and not just attacking the woman. ❤
The fact that he can sit there and do all that screaming at his mom over an accident meanwhile his dad literally fed him drugs. Incredible. Dad raised a gem. Poor lady wow.
I agree 1000%!
I think that not only was he fed lies by his father but that she wasn't there for him as much as he wanted her to so he grew up angry and resented her. Him and his brother were the only victims in this story
An accident? How is her poisoning her baby repeatedly with Crack just an " accident"??
@@Naturefan354 I think by "accident" the person is referring to the baby suffocating in the suitcase.
@chroniclyjae2054 She may have not wanted him to die but she also didn't care, She was obviously high on drugs when she did that because no sane parent would ever put a baby in a suitcase on purpose and then go sleep in another room. She deserves no sympathy. It wasn't a real accident imo either
The sad legacy of addiction played out before our eyes
Right!!! Sadness indeed 😢
Yep and it's MOMS fault he's addicted NOBODY elses
Dads fault too but ok
Sadly and greatly put
Tanya said she put a big fluffy blanket in the suitcase. That alone could've caused him to suffocate. Not intentionally or purposefully. She was just trying to make him comfortable. Sad. Glad she was able to clear her name and is not being blamed anymore.
In nyc they teach you to lay the babies on their backs with no blankets for the babies to go to sleep
@@Aieshavivianmoore In 1996, when this happened, blankets were commonly used in cribs as well as crib bumpers and stuffed animals and toys. It wasn't until probably the mid to late 2000's that they started saying not to put blankets in bed with the baby. I am SURE that she was never told by anyone to keep blankets away from her baby. I had babies in 1997, 19999, 2003, 2005, and 2008. The amount of advice that has changed in just those 10 years is absolutely staggering!
Her older son is terrible blaming mom and giving dad a pass when he knew dad gave him drugs. I feel so bad for the mom Tonya. She had to deal with so much. And by herself. So sad
You feel bad for the women who poisoned her baby with Crack resulting in his death? I don't I think she is disgusting
She's still terrible for poisoning her baby... I don't feel bad for her she choose to make her baby a c*ack baby
Dad is the POS in this story.. Giving that kid coke and trying to make him hate his Mother. Looks like Mom tried her very best to do everything right for her kids once she was ready to get clean.
Exactly!!! She did make bad decisions but she admitted her mistakes and cleaned herself up. That father- what a POS loser hypocrite! Parental alienation at its finest 😔
But mom did drugs while pregnant but yep let's blame the dad 🤣😂
@@trinak86is this the dad's burner account 😂
@@trinak86Gurl don't even waste your time. Some people refuse to hold women accountable. She poisoned her baby with dr*gs resulting in his death but people would rather fixate on the dad
It doesn’t matter. She was doing drugs while pregnant. Don’t get pregnant if you’re not ready to get clean.
its pretty funny how he judges her when he's the one that admitted to giving their son cocaine in the first place 🙄
And she's the one that did drugs while she was pregnant, but yep, lets blame him 🤣😂
@@trinak86he’s technically the reason why he’s dead so yeah we are going to blame him yeah she dude drugs while pregnant but who killed him ?? His dad bro bffr
@@420bluntly_you sound ridiculous. You think doing drugs while pregnant doesn't result in deaths of babies and all the complications that come with it if they survive? Get educated..wow
@@420bluntly_Technically she is the reason. I blame her
@@420bluntly_ They're both the reason that baby died. They were both drug addicts. She said she wasn't high when the baby boy died because she only ever got high with him and he was in jail at the time, why was he jail was it drug related. Why wasn't he there to protect his son or take over if he knew she was getting frustrated. Also if she only did drugs when she was with him why wasn't he stopping her knowing full well she was pregnant with his baby? They are both at fault for that baby boy being born addicted. Both of them are shit parents and both of them don't deserve the title of mum or dad. They are both as bad as each other. That's my opinion.
Ex NICU nurse here who nursed babies born addicted. One particular one sticks with me…her mother knew what would happen…she was a heroin addict…so was the baby. We weaned the baby off drugs slowly…but that wasn’t the end of it. The baby was jumpy…cried inconsolably…had to be constantly held. I worked on the ward with her strapped to me all day every day because it was the only way she’d be even remotely soothed. Fortunately she was full term. We had the baby for eight weeks and released her to her mum…against the staff’s wishes as we’d seen Mum coming in stoned out of her mind and barely able to stand. But we had a pushy drug counsellor who was convinced that all dug babies would so better in their families. She was so wrong so often before they finally stopped doing it. Now, I see that same child now a young adult is often arrested for drug use. I wonder how she’d have been if the ‘experts’ hadn’t been so focused on parents well being and definitely not on their babies. Is that harsh yes…but you only need to see one baby at 12 months old 3lbs heavier than at birth weight and still in withdrawal because Mum takes the baby’s Methadone to harden your view.
As an addict in recovery for more than 35+ years, I'm going to say this straight up. 99.9% of the time, children DON'T need to go back to their parents. Recovery is so hard. It's the hardest thing you will EVER do in your life. But if you stick with it, over time, it gets easier. But it DOES take a long time, and it is SO worth it. But YES, you have to change your entire life. I moved, left my whole world behind. The only thing I took was my child. Her, I temporarily gave custody to my mother while I got myself straightened out. Yeah, I went back home and moved several states away. Eventually, I even found a man who didn't drag me down to hell with him. And life got so much better. Recovery is worth every miserable second, every horrible day! Yes, even every lonely year! Because when you finally find your footing and begin to feel normal again, that is when things begin to get so good. You may never have all the money you want or even the life you want, but you just feel so happy because you have this life. You AREN'T that messed up, confused individual anymore. You look back and see things differently. You just weren't happy back then. Nothing you did solved your problems. You really didn't even them for that long. You just masked them and added to them. Now, you are free. That is the beauty of recovery. You finally face the truth of your past and that is so freeing.
@@ms.munchkin8264 I’m really happy you found yourself. As the nursing staff of the babies we had a horrible time with this particular Addiction Nurse. For some reason she never saw the babies safety or potential for good lives as a priority and it was always ‘Let the mothers have them’…no matter what stage of recovery (or not) was going on …it was not easy. I think she thought that she was being a rescuer in some weird way. She certainly thought of herself as a heroic trailblazer.
The particular little one I was looking after didn’t really stand a chance. Mum was still heavily addicted…Dad was a controlling bully of an addict. He single handedly caused our unit to have serious security put into place because he wanted the child for himself. It’s just chance I know what happened to her…and I wish it had been different for her and her mum.
Just re reading your post…you’re heroic , thank you for telling us all….and I’m so glad you saved yourself and your babe. You’ve made my day !
I had 2 out of 3 of my kids in NICU, 9 yrs ago we spent first 3 months and again a few months ago with my last baby only a week, seeing those babies screaming and me being the only parent there day and night it amazes me how anyone can leave the hospital to go get high and do whatever they are doing instead of holding and caring for the baby and learning everything they can possibly do to help ease the suffering of that baby. I'm also a recovering addict and I know drugs take over your mind but the second I found out I was pregnant that was so much motivation to stop. The NICU nurses that I had 9 yrs ago and this last time were amazing and I am so thankful for you guys ❤
@hihosilverlining First, a sincere Thank you. Second, my kids are my world, and I would have done anything to ensure their safety. I was one
0f the lucky ones, I got clean before I brought my babies into the world. But I was honest with them about my past, I was their cautionary tale. Yes, I used my personal story to keep them from experimenting with drugs, and it worked.
@lindsaybee2763 Honey, you keep your head up and keep your focus. Don't worry about anything but those children. You got this! Much love and prayers to you, keep fighting the good fight. ❤️ 🙏
Children deserve at least 1 great Parent.
This kid got two POS
Steve has comedic timing
"Your going to hell you did this!"
"Can you relate to this story?"
😂😂😂
Rest In Peace little one you deserved way better then this 💔💔👼👼
Poor little baby suffered before he was even born.
The father may be clean but he is still a moronic hypocrite loser. He put lies in his son’s head out of spite to alienate the boy and cause him further pain. Just evil. SMH
Poisoning your baby with Crack resulting in his death Is more evil in my book
so, he admits to given he's son cocaine but doesn't have the balls to take the test. what a coward
STAY SOBER & KEEP FIGHTING THE FIGHT! 💖🙏💪💪💪🙏💖
Honestly the only real victims in this story was the baby and the son. They didn't deserve to have addicts as parents. Sure we can be upset at the son's direct anger towards his mother but not only was he fed lies at a young age but she wasn't around enough for him, he needed both parents and they both failed him at one point
Im so proud of you for getting clean.. your past doesn't define your future. . I'm rooting for you all the way from brooklyn❤
That poor baby didn’t have a chance from the jump.. so sad.
Sad story of what happens when you have kids instead of getting help.
Theres no way that dad would pass a drug test.
That tiny yet long mohawk, more like nohawk
If that guy is clean, I'm the Pope!
Are you serious!?
Who the hell gives a 12yr old coke and honestly expected to not get found out!!? And on top of that shit! He’s trying to pin all the blame on her--yes she did wrong, but she’s paid for her mistakes, is ostracized by family members and strangers on the streets and is unfortunately labeled a baby killer because of this!!
So it’s time for him to take responsibility for this horrible situation!!
This is an old episode we need new episodes 😭
they keep posting old episodes like they're new lmao. I thought I was the only one to notice. I'm too hard-core of a Steve fan 😂

What tf is with the pony tail on that guy 😂
I saw the title and im already sad 😢
Imo both parents are to blame regardless of the test. Two drug addicts allowed to take care of a baby addicted to drugs as well. They should have kept the baby in the hospital or with cps especially since she was still using and i dont understand how the cops just let her go when they both admitted to using coke smh r.i.p to this 4 month old who lost his life. I hate that they keep failing kids who actually need help but remove them bc the parents smoke trees.
Exactly! The people defending this lady act like she's mother teresa. Doing drugs while pregnant isn't a "mistake" but a CHOICE. The police and CPS were tripping letting this baby leave with them.
@@Shellygrrl2573Exactly
She definitely made mistakes.
But, I firmly believe that she did not kill her baby!!!
She was truthful! I knew it
everyone’s judging her for not being able to handle the baby crying but that’s actually quite common with mothers due to postpartum - poor lady she’s actually trying to get her life together
Switching over to black coffee is a cheaper addiction, Blessed Be.
dad chooses not to take the test, gives his 12 year old son cocaine, feeds his kid lies about his mother, and yet, the mom passes the test.
she did what she could. she owned up to her mistakes, didn't skip any details in the story, and went straight to the point. she isn't the best mom in the world, but she did what she could. a fluffy blanket in a suitcase could most definitely have been a catalyst to the suffocation. she didn't mean to, but it definitely could have boosted the effects leading up to his death.
Steve: "Can YOU relate to this sto...."
Me: "NOPE!"
Resties in you are forever
"we're not here to throw shade" 😂😂
How devastating. Drugs are bad but nothing could make her deserve this.
We former addicts were a pos the whole time that we were using!! But a lot of us do get sober!! And we also carry that burden of being a pos for the rest of our lives! Because even being sober for yrs!! We still hate ourselves for being addicts and not being the parent, son, uncle or decent human that we should have been!!!
My heart goes out to you ❤
Why was she allowed to keep the baby she was probably high on drugs and fell asleep i blame her 100 percent
Best friends in you are forever
Every time Steve comes on and says “can you relate to this story” I yell HELL NO
God is watching him play in heaven and he is no longer suffering from the addiction of his mothers actions, and her punishment is living with that for the rest of her life, she will be judged accordingly by God. What a mockery of life she has committed. That poor excuse of a man/father he too will be judged by God, and that gives one peace just knowing that.
9:32 "she is unstable☝️🤓" YOU GAVE YOUR SON COKE?! and got her addicted to drugs. 😐
That poor mother, I feel bad, one son died and her other hates her 😕
I'm crying listening to her 😢

No, No I can't relate to this story .... I raised my son to a grown man as a single father. No ... can't relate ...
Besties in you are forever but not in real life right now but one day in life
I hope she and her son have a happy future, this was a tragic accident. And the father knew it. Otherwise he'd have come out saying: "you murdered my son!" Not "i blame you!"...
He told his son she killed the baby out of spite....it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to work that out!
Steve: "Why did you give your son drugs?"
Jerry: "Because I was a piece of garbage, man."
Steve: "Let's move on, then. You're a piece of garbage."
Audience: *clapping*
Me: You gotta' appreciate the honesty! 😂
But Steve doesn't give a fck she was DOING DRUGS WHILE PREGNANT it's ALL on her
Best part lol
That guys haircut just says everything.
But she did kill her son a literal crackhead, put a kid and a suitcase, and then walked out of the room. Babies aren’t supposed to have anything near them at that age so her neglect is the direct result of that baby’s death.
Didnt lay a harmful finger! No, you just left him in a suitcase in another room!
It not her but someone else did i guess... Sheriff need review it and interview more people
She didn’t leave him in another room it was a open area she was on the floor learn to not beat people down when they’re already down you don’t know her mental state and you don’t know if she battles living everyday
You don’t know the whole story so stop judging people without no background evidence
Such a sad story!
I do believe you can be a horrible person and learn how to be a better one!
I do believe she’s trying and I do believe she had the ability to do so much better .
I couldn’t forgive myself but she does have another son to live.
I remember this story 😢

I would not want any relationship with that son
Softies in you are forever
6:37 It’s is ENTIRELY 100% HER FAULT her baby is dead. I don’t think she killed the baby. She smoked crack while pregnant. Crack is not a physically addictive drug where if you stop you will be deathly ill or hospitalized like opioids, benzos, and alcohol (those you can’t just stop abruptly while pregnant w/out medical intervention). She could’ve stopped if it weals important enough. I can’t see why anyone would clap for this trash! Even after she caused him all these problems and was in the hospital and clean for 6 weeks, she still started again w/that baby in tow. Then after she made him the crying (and it’s not click when they’re crack addicted it’s a crack baby the poor thing is hooked. I’ve seen adults cry through detox let alone a tiny newborn) but because his crying bothered her, she put him in a suitcase and put him in another room. My baby is 1 and she’s still in my room cause shit happens but not on my watch! I am a 9 year recovering heroin addict and got clean to have my son and stayed clean 3 years. I relapsed after re-injuring my back that I already have 4 major spinal fusions through the entire spinal cord and bone chiseled off my pelvis and fused to my spine and now heart surgery, so pain was my trigger! I wouldn’t even be alone w/my own 2 year old. I hired a babysitter til his dad got out of work til I had over a year clean again. Addicts cannot be trusted with children. Believe me I have all the sympathy in the world for the sick and still suffering addicts out there, but children HAVE NO CHOICE!!! She could’ve made any different decision at any crossroad in her umpteen billion bad decisions and changed his fate. It was the hardest thing to say I wasn’t well enough to care for my own baby but as parents we have to give up what we want to do what is right for them. She is absolute garbage and if she’s expecting ting a damn pity party and a round of applause for finally doing the right thing, it’s not here!
I’m disgusted… Who cares if she’s not lying; She was neglectful which ended up causing his death
Can I relate to this story? Thank God, no!
Obviously she’s to blame for the fact he was born addicted which is awful, but other than that it was really obvious to she didn’t do anything. It made me so mad when the son came out and said what he did to her. His dad did a real number on him when he gave the kid coke at 12 years old!!! He’s an awful father and did far worse than putting a kid to sleep in a suitcase and yet he blamed her for everything as though he’s a good parent. Go back to the 50s and 60s and many people had young babies sleeping in dresser drawers as they collect afford cots. There is no reason to think that would do anything. It’s far more dangerous to be giving 12 year old coke.
Why is she sat down if she was suspected of killing her son? Steve once again showing bias towards women.
12:09 I know my baby momma just passed but let me make myself look better real quick 🤓☝️
Oh my god his hair 😂😂 pro fucking choice over here 🤙🏼

Breaks my heart the 4 month old lost his life too soon and the drug use by the mother may had contributed to his death. The state should have been involved from the beginning and I believe the baby would be alive today
She said cps were immediately involved
I’m ngl idk why she’s still sitting down because she knew what she was doing you were part of the cause of death u said u knew u were pregnant and still used ma’am idk why ur driving down u can cry standing up
@@joyhenry4366Don’t be such a dick u don’t know the full story I’m her daughter I actually know the full story and so did Steve maybe you should put ur blame on the asshole dad. He fed her that crack if she didn’t take it EVEN WELL SHE WAS PREGNANT HE WOULD BEAT HER.
The baby died due to unsafe sleep practices. To try and avoid SIDS, you need to put the baby on his back in an empty crib. No blankets, no sheets, no stuffed animals and no crib protector. Only use a hard mattress, a fitted mattress protector and a fitted sheet. To avoid the baby having cold, you can use a safe sleep sack. A blanket and stuffed animal should only be introduced after the child is at least 2 years old. To put a baby to sleep in anything else that is not a crib is dangerous. In this case CPS failed that baby because they let him go home with a drug addicted mother which in itself is a hazard for any baby or child. CPS really is there for nothing, because they are unable and unwilling to really protect the most vulnerable children and many have died under their watch. You give a wolf a child and that wolf will protect that child better than CPS.
Hell no I can't ever relate to this story of the 4 month old
So sad
I’m glad the son apologized to his mom after the horrendous accusations. However, I still don’t feel easy about this story. Why the hell did the father not take a lie detector test? Was he not also with the baby? He admitted to giving his older son, so would it be possible if he did the same thing to their then younger baby? Steve, bring the father back on the show to take a lie detector test and ask the same questions you asked the mother!
I believe that he was in jail when it happened because the mother said they released him on a “Death Bed Visit” 4:47
Yes he was in jail and unable to have anything to do with it

How would she know if she was high?
Because she would be sober before she got high lmao wtf
Hell no I can’t relate to this case Steve 😂
I'm pretty surprised that people think giving a 12 yo coke is worse than putting a 4 month old drug addicted infant in a suitcase that ultimately caused his death... Both actions are deplorable. However, there's no way an adult should think putting an infant in any health condition in a suitcase was a good idea. The first time she hurt that baby was doing drugs while she was pregnant with him which is worse than what the dad did to the 12yo. The second time she hurt him was putting him in a suitcase with a fluffy blanket and then putting that suitcase out of sight in another room. I find it hard to believe she didn't close that suitcase. If he cried while the top was open, he would still disturb everyone. And why was the comfort of others more important than the safety of the child? ... I tell you, a lot of you who couldn't think about this situation more critically are just as troubling as these two breeders.
Her story is to detailed for her to be lying .. I believe her
I'm sorry but the facts that she used throughout her pregnancy and continued to use after he was born made him vulnerable to dying from the slightest thing. Did she kill him at his point of death or did everything she did before that lead to it? She is not innocent.
Her son doesn’t gaf, lets be real, he was JUST being lowdown ash when he said that to his mother, so instead of apologizing and admitting his wrongs, he pressed the issue, so he could be the victim .he knows his mother didn’t do ts . he had no TRUE emotion behind hearing the results.. him and his father are weirdos
I’m sorry but putting a baby in a suitcase and sleeping in a different room sounds very dumb and like a bad idea. I had a niece die from sids that is so negligent on her part.
All of the "ums" are killing me softly
I think the Son should have nothing to do with either of the parents. Live a clean and happy healthy lifestyle with out both parents
