polygraph test results are inadmissible in court, as they are not scientifically reliable enough. In the first case the ex husband who failed the test was never arrested. The show did contact local authorities and notified that he did fail but it was not enough to arrest him. Most ppl who fail don’t ever get arrested unless the proper investigation is done and evidence is found.

Apparently it’s on the internet under how to beat a lie detector test. Also restricting your breathing. I guess if you’re concentrating on these other things you’re supposed to not react the same on the test. Doesn’t work!!
It's commonly used as a way to try to throw off the results of a lie detector test. Somehow related to altering your blood pressure levels, i think.
I've also heard of people coughing repeatedly, moving in their seat alot, also taking certain drugs beforehand etc...
I had a friend who lost a child years back from SIDS and I'll never forget the absolute, heartbroken, soul crushing howel that came from her soul. That memory will always stay with me for as long as I live. I can't imagine loosing something so precious. And some of these parents on this show unaliving their own blood is beyond me. I can't even comprehend
23 year's ago I lost my 7 1/2 month old son to SIDS I still can't handle it I don't know how they kill their own children

My mom lost my brother to SIDS. She still cries about it.
I used to babysit this little girl. She was like family to me. She grew up (well 17) had a baby, and she lost her to s.i.d.s. at 10 weeks old. That was one of the most heartbreaking funerals I've ever had to go to. I don't ever want to have to go to another baby funeral ever. 💔

When someone you love gets ripped from you, the one thing you want to do is revenge their death. I get what you are saying but don't shame someone for wanting to think that way.

They knew what he was doing. Should have been in jail but they released him anyway and that's why he was able to be free and do what he did to melt mom.
Oh, and this happened roughly 12 years ago, not when she was young either. So don't fucking try that excuse either.
Am I mistaken? In that last clip. Dad failed for abusing and/or killing the child. Grandpa failed for abusing. Grandma failed for knowing about it. Mum passed for not only not abusing, but not being aware of anyone else abusing, and yet she spent the longest time in prison???
All of them failed for abuse except mom. Dad failed for abuse & for killing the baby. That is just heartbreaking. Then the grandparents sticking up for dad, they clearly were all in on it. So sad.
If I'm not mistaken the mother is also guilty, can't remember where the info came from might have been the original video on it's own, but she passed because she is a psychopath, believe her family said something about it, other family obviously not the trash with her on stage. Hence why she passed for not knowing the abuse, when you look into the evidence its impossible not to know something was obviously wrong with the child. Remember the child was 7 weeks not 7 years. No way it got injured on its own.
Unless she completely neglected the child and never saw or held it, there is no way she would not have known her child was abused. She knew exactly what was going on. The whole family needs to be put away for a very long time.

For the women who died by drowning . When the boyfriend said “ she was killed “ … we’ll how would he know that she was “ killed “ if it was undetermined because she drowned .. clearly he did it .

My daughter.was 17 years old an a law student my son was a pastor it hurts every day they are all ways with me they is never a day that I don't hurt some nights I lay in my bead an cry I don't sleep a hold night but my hope a trust is in Jesus he promise that justice is his an he will repay that is all I live for all I do is go to church an that is it I am now 70 years old an it still hurts may God keep all family that lost children and love ones I know the pain the hurt don't go away it stays with you till death God bless 🙏🏽 you all from Barbados Caribbean

I can relate to the four siblings whose mother was murder in 1999 because my mom had four children 2 boys & 2 girls also and my mom was also murdered, but in 1998 very brutally I couldn’t even recognize her in her casket because she was beaten to death and at that time I was only 13 years old on the way down to my youngest brother being eight years old and our life was so hard without her, but now God has given the piece to move on with my life and pick up the pieces for my children! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🪴🪴🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 the family is in my prayers

If you notice, whenever a person has killed their kid, they will always refer to the child as "the baby" and "the child" instead of "My baby" or "my child".
Or even by their name or a nickname. It's because they feel nothing for that little life. They are not a person to them.
It's because they are trying to dissociate themselves from the child and what happened to them , in hoping that it makes them sound so plausible
The fact that the school couldn’t even wait until maybe the next day, if they really had to say something, was disgusting. Did nobody think of how he might feel hearing about that??
Right?! Or they could've pull him aside and told him first instead of telling eveyone in the school at the same time.
They could have waited till the funeral arrangements had been made and the family announced the death. It was not the school’s place to do anything at all, especially without the family’s permission.

That mother should be reported to police and charged with a different crime for that baby. It wouldn’t be double jeopardy. That psychopath needs to be dealt with.
I think the issue is that she was probably already charged with intentional homicide and then pleaded it down to whatever she got. Now, double jeopardy doesn’t mean you can’t be charged twice for the same crime; it only protects you from being convicted twice. The prosecutor could theoretically proceed with charges but frankly the defense attorney would be on higher footing because the only new evidence they have to go on is a polygraph test, which - whether or not it happened in one of the 6 states that allow polygraphs to be entered as evidence without the defendant’s consent - would never be enough to reopen a case on its own. Obviously she’s guilty as sin, and deserves a thousand times worse than what she got, but bad operators have permanently ruined the reputation of polygraphs in the legal system.
I am sure Steve took the results to the police, we can only hope at the least she is not allowed to keep/have anymore kids... My egg sharer (my half sister sadly) lost so many kids to the state they just started taking them at the hospital..... Sad fking world we live in :(

The only way that will happen would be if new evidence emerged. A lie detector test is extremely unreliable and has no standing in court. Can't use that to charge her with anything.

I teach him that bad people can be anywhere. Working in our hospitals, schools, churches and courts. I don’t do this to scare my child, I do it to educate them so they are aware not everyone in this world has good intentions. We need to protect our kids, yes, and that includes proper education (truthful education!)
This show has taught me one other thing: so many terrible “Mothers” out there allowing men in their lives to abuse their kids. It’s outrageous!

The mother was actually lying, think it's on the original upload of that video but she knew about the abuse and was strongly believed to have participated in it, she only passed due to being a psychopath, that's at least what her family said in a comment she was a known liar, and with the child being 7 weeks it's impossible to believe it did any of the injuries to it's self, plus obviously she was lying when you hear what she said the cops did. If that was what actually happened she wouldn't have passed not knowing.

As much as it hurts, people will go to great lengths to get the truth, especially when it comes to murder, and it’s not going to be taken lightly regardless of what happened on the show
I honestly hope the families of the victim find peace knowing what really happened, and who got caught and sent to prison for it. Condolences for all.

The story with the siblings seeking justice for their mother is heartbreaking. I can’t help but imagine if me and my younger siblings were in a situation like that. One thing is for sure if I was in a situation like that one of my sisters better hold me back.

@@deshawnbrown986 There are stories where someone is accused of a wrongdoing that he or she has never done, and people would easily accuse and punish them, even after he or she is proven innocent, people would still be hostile since they dislike him or her, or something else.
What people need to do is say sorry, but if they refuse, then disgrace is what they will face.

I agree. However, I'd like to offer a little insight. This is certainly NOT an excuse for their behavior. From experience, when people die, especially in that manner or other tragic ways, often times families are looking for someone to blame. Even if they have all the facts they need. They're so hurt by their loss, that their anger is misplaced. I believe these women will look back and be completely embarrassed by and have remorse for their actions. You have to remember, at the time of the show, they had just buried him days before. Everything was so fresh and emotions were very high. I hope the family has found a way to live with their loss. And I truly hope they stopped blaming her.

The one about Tara Turner was quite odd. Apparently, according the family's FB page, the person the family brought on the show (the husband), even though he FAILED the lie detector, they refuse to believe he had anything to do with it, and evidently are angry at the show. The person they believe killed her, was some guy who she was dating named Mike, who the last person to see her alive. 🤔

Lie detector tests are fallible. An accused person who is innocent can be angry about the question being posed to them in regards to a death. This is exactly why I’m a stay at home mom while my husband works, neither of us trust anyone to take care of our kids. The only people we allow them to stay the night with twice a year is my sister in law and her husband. I KNOW for a FACT they would never hurt my children. My middle son is 3 and has sensory processing disorder and a severe speech delay so he gets over whelmed and can be a handful and I’ll be damned if someone gets frustrated and hurts him and then he can’t even tell me about it because of his speech delay.
