Spine flexion

Spine flexion occurs at the vertebral joint, where the thoracic & lumbar vertebrae articulate forming a facet or plane joint.
Spine flexion is where the angle of the joint increases and the spine leans forwards, typically around 75 degrees across the sagittal plane.
The agonistic muscle which enables spine flexion include the rectus abdominis, internal & external obliques
