I got this shoe before it came out in the US from Korea and took a major risk considering I didn’t get along with V1 but it has been one of the best purchases I made this year. This shoe can do it all. I use it for easier/daily runs but it’s like a sports car, it can go fast when you need it. I found myself going on some all out sprints in wet weather without a fear in the world that I would eat the pavement
First try last night with a running event from the Puma Store in London. Really enjoyed it. Completely agree with you about the being happy at different paces. As a heavier runner I'm happy with the thickness of the outsole.
Totally agree with you….for me is a absolutely 3 of 3 Score shoe……is the only wow shoe effect in 2022….and belive me, i tried many brands and Models this year…🥇🏆👌💪🏼
As usual, Ed, you and I see shoes eye-to-eye! I knew you would love the DN2. I got the white one at first in US 8.5 and recently added the same black one you're holding in 8EE with the upcoming rainy season in mind as I know that I'll be using this shoe *a lot* over the coming year. Honestly, I did not expect this shoe to be this good and has usurped the Novablast 3 and Endorphin Speed 3 as my number one daily trainer in a rather short amount of time. It isn't as bouncy and soft as the NB3 and it isn't as snappy and poppy as the ES3 but is somewhere in the middle with a chugging-and-driving kind of ride that is rather addictive. I'd say it has the most "balanced" ride of all the daily trainers or any running shoes I've tried this year. It's soft and protective where it exactly needs to be and firm and propulsive where it exactly needs to be. And, as you say, it adapts to whatever you want to do on a given day or during a given run: fast, moderate, easy/slow, long distance, short distance, tempo, strides, sprints, really anything you can throw at it. It's like the Swiss Army Knife of running shoes but each tool in its arsenal is very useful and of very high quality. It feels more "natural" than other daily trainers because it seems to give you back exactly what you put into it: not any more and not any less. The assistive technologies like the foam, plate, and outsole are integrated in a way that none of it feels obtrusive or standing out too much. It's all seamless where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It has a workhorse kind of character to it but it can easily pick up the pace and go fast. You slow down and then ride becomes smooth. Well, between the DN2 and the Prime X Strung, I feel like almost everything is covered and they can literally do everything if needed, including racing and easy/recovery as well as everything in between. Over the past three weeks or so, it's been the Prime X Strung for a long run one day and then the DN2 for shorter daily training the next day. I'd throw in the Invincible Run 2 or the SC Trainer every now and then for easy/recovery but these two are now getting most of the miles and I suspect that this will be the case for quite a while to come. These are the two 'Shoes of the Year' for me. I'm in running heaven these days with the PXS and DN2 for the road, and the Saucony Xodus Ultra for the trails. These shoes make you want to keep going and extend your planned runs. PXS makes me go from 10 to 12~13. DN2 makes me go from 6~7 to 8~10 because they are so much fun and you just don't want to stop. The Xodus Ultra has a similar quality but not quite to the level of these two. Cheers!
Talked with an old friend recently, a great guy and dedicated runner who wears his pairs until they get destroyed. Very proud of his collection of shoes in terminal stage. Thinking of buying him a pair to see if he can destroy the outsole.
Picked these up a few week ago 3 runs in very impressed!going to use them as training partner to my deviate nitro elites..puma are putting out some great shoes right now!
My first pair arrived today. Looking forward to trying these out tomorrow. I’ve loved the two pairs of Forever Runs currently in my rotation. Puma are making some fantastic shoes at the moment.
It's got everything I want in a runner. Well-ventilated, grippy soles, lightweight, and plushiness between Nova3 and Nimbus25. Plus it came in a colourway tdf the sunset glow which is like a fluo red. I saw it on offer and after about 30km I bought another as backup when price dropped further. I usually buy shoes a little larger but these are exactly my size and I don't feel any cramping in toes no hot spots despite being 0.5 size smaller than I'm used to.
@@EDDBUD I stopped buying Nike since year 2010. Their quality went down the drain cutting corners on seams (heat sealed vs stitched) and rubber soles that are no longer grippy or long lasting. It rains often here and i do run in the rain so sticky soles are a must. There are very few brands that make good quality comfortable shoes with grippy soles and are limited to Asics, Saucony and Puma. Skechers has good rubber too but their shoes don't last past 5 long runs.
As a larger runner I'd definitely be happier with the outsole here. Puma grip is great but some wear down too quickly. Thanks Edd definitely looking forward to trying this
Previous Speed 2 user. Just got a pair of Deviate 2 after comparing with Speed 3 in shop. Love it. Easy to keep easy pace which was difficult for Speed 2.
Great video Edd! Yes Puma now one of the best with excellent grip! I have the Deviate Nitro WTR which is superb and purchased for less than £100 earth credits 👍
Just got it in my US size 14 for $79.99 lol. The very last one Running Warehouse had. I'm pretty stoked. Adding that my current rotation of Mach 6 and SB2 lol
Just ordered mine! Haven't seen any in my size for the color I want in months. Finally found a pair so decided to pull the trigger. Looking forward to trying these out!
Got 2 sales lately this Deviate Nitro 2 in very nice white color and the adidas takumi Sen 8. Like both shoes but the grip on the puma is excellent. Adidas is the races, puma the trainer :)
Damn you Edd Budd! Because of your mastery in the art of persuasion , I have faked a illness at work. 🤞 I hope my employer doesn't follow your channel. This way I can get out of work early to check these bad boys out before my local running store closes. Billy Mays is smiling down at you from heaven.
I purchased the velocity Nitro2, Deviate Nitro 2 and the Deviate Nitro elite via the Amazon Puma store the other week all for under 300 pounds (just ) thats a full winter rotation for the price of and alphafly 2 and not much more expensive then a strung .. A very happy chappy.
I managed to get these for £45 when Sports Direct forgot to add a 1 at the start of the price.......at first I wasn't sure if I was going to keep them, but these are now my replacement to the Sauncony Endorphin Speed 2 which I really didnt like (didnt really understand the hype). I quite enjoyd v1 of these, however after 30 or so miles in them, they started to eat my Achilles (didnt get that at the start), so the padding update is appreciated. Viva la Puma and Reebok!!!
Totally agree! My shoe of the year too! With all the shoetubers banging on about how great the Novablast 3 is, which is alright but the Deviate Nitro 2 has a more breathable upper and is more responsive IMO!
I tried several brands of running shoes but always had plantar injuries repeatedly, and was able to recover from the plantar and run comfortably until now with Puma DN2.
Yes Edd had this shoe for 3 weeks now and have been comparing it to my favourite shoe the Endorphin speed 2. It feels a little heavy on foot compared to the Speeds but does do well at higher tempos. When slipping on the Speeds they feel remarkably light and nimble and non existent on foot and capable of doing longer distances. The Pumas are remarkable value though . I had to go half size up in mine as I have wider than normal feet.
Seriously young Sir, thought I had my shoe rotation sorted as per your recommendations and now you drop this Puma on me. Don’t think the long haired General will allow me to get these this side of Xmas 😢🎄
Got a massive 10k pb of 41:27 on these last saturday! The shoes definately helped me, on top of cold weather, minimal wind, flat course, and of course all my hard training 😄
Just picked up a pair from Start Fitness for 89 earth credits! Had the v1 and didn't really rate them, but seen lots of good reviews for the v2 so thought I'd grab a pair while on offer 👌
Picked these up few months ago when they just released in the fireglow version , shoe of the year for me won't get bored of this one soon . Got me trough a very fun road to trail to road race very well 👌🏼 if these wear down I'll get a second pair
Now I'm excited to use mine, just purchased my pair this week. But was hesitant as puma shops here don't have them in person to try them out. They're only available online. I just sticked to my size. Haven't even get to try them on yet. But from looking and feeling the midsole looks very promising. Dare I say a bit softer than fuelcell which I'm a big fan of. Great video again edd. 👍🏼
How are you finding them? I've just ordered a pair myself, I'm hoping they'll provide a superior experience to the Nike Miler Shield I've been relying on for getting through inclement weather.
Great, good for running and walking , the most comfortable show I've worn in the last few years. Don't alter this shoe, I'd buy two pairs for the pure comfort. I love the spring from the heel to the lower foot. Not had a shoe that can do that.. 5/5 for me.
Wish really i had got a second pair of these instead of the velocity 2 but only used the velocity once but will be surprised if they are as versatile as the Deviate. I'm kind of pleased i couldn't get the speed 3 in my size and went for the puma's. I got the two for the price of one almost including postage. Ian
That is a statement! Considering how many plated shoes are around that is a strong recommendation. Thank you as always EddBud (I guess now the leeches are not exclusive of the RC Elite V1?)
I just ordered mine after doing a foot scan that suggested these ones as 10/10 shoe for my feet and for running long distances. I’m training for marathon and I run on my saucony triumph 20 which I love but once I tried the deviate nitro 2 at the store I was amazed by how good they felt. I never thought of buying puma because I never wore anything of puma but I was surprisingly amazed. Now I can’t wait to wear them in my next training and maybe wear them in my marathon race this November
Interesting, I ordered a pair of these puma’s online as we speak, so couldn’t try them on. I got the saucony triumph 20 now aswell, but I’m not a big fan, to ‘squishy’ for my liking, hoping for a firmer ride with the deviate.
Oh yeah. These will be in my rotation especially for my snowy wet runs cuz of that puma grip. But also I like having fast shoes that can also run slow too
Great review as usual. Mine are on the way, tho I wish I could have gotten it in a wide but the Velocity 1's are fine for my feet so hoping these will be too.
Just got them today, stunning looking shoe. Lightly jogging in them I can tell I would absolutely love them. They are unfortunately too tight, like made my feet numb no matter how I laced them too tight. Contacted Puma Canada and they don't have a wide here, they do in the rest of the world tho... Anyway I wish they would fit because I can tell I would love these things. Puma did say however if and when the are available in Canada in a wide that they would still honor the %40 off deal I had gotten on them if I decide to order them in the future and to keep my order number handy.
Puma distribution in the USA is really bad and they are not stocked at many running specialty stores. I have been able to find the deviate ones and have put 100s of miles in them along with a half marathon race….great shoe. Will continue to search for the twos.would be great to try them out.
There arent that many speedy options fo running on snow, which we have here in north for 5 months. This sounds like the best option for winter workouts. After all you cant just run easy runs during long winter period..
I absolutely love this shoe 😃 although the powertape on the top box and round the eyelets are peeling off my right shoe! But I’m willing to forgive that when it’s so comfortable and performs so well 👌
Fantastic shoe! I did a first run in them last Sunday and completely agree Ed. The sizing was a bit odd to me though. Now I have to first retire my Mach 4 before I can really start using them. About 140kms to go. 😄
Great video Ed. I tried getting it from Puma and it only had size 6. Very difficult to get this shoe in the States. Amazon had it with only U.K sizes, so I had to get a size U.K 10 since I'm a U.S 11.
I got these in the Amazon deal too. Yet to run in them but they feel incredibly comfortable on foot and I'm hoping they're a bit more versatile than the Speed 2's have been for me (the Puma Grip certainly inspires a lot of confidence, especially going into Winter running season)
Will probably wait a little. I find it a bit weird that they are pushing shoes of which some previous versions have just come out. It’s getting like basketball shoes and hype beast stuff!
@@EDDBUD I have the Adios 6 and I love it.. this Puma or the Adios 7 for long runs and longer workouts to prepare for a HM (I use the hyperion tempo on the track)?
Hi Ed. I’m a bit late to this model, but now that I’ve got over 100 miles on my pair, I can say that I’m not with you on this one. Granted, the Puma DN2 is a very good daily trainer, extremely versatile (and that’s IMHO its best assset), but it’s *only* a very good daily trainer, and not even a top-of-the-class one (I can’t imagine a usecase where I’d use them over a Mach 5 or a Peg Turbo OG). Sure, you can do easy/recovery runs with them, no problem at all, but without a rocker they are a bit too energy sapping for that use. Sure, you can do tempo runs, or intervals in them, but I don’t find these shoes especially fast, definitely not in the league of the Tempo Next% or the Takumi Sen. I think I run just as fast, even faster (at similar effort) in the Vomero 16. The problem is it’s supposed to be a speed shoe, with a plate and super foam, but you can’t feel the plate (well, I can’t. At all), and the foam isn’t that super. I’ve got a hard time believing Nitro Elite foam is PEBA, it feels like standard nitro-infused EVA to me, quite softer thant Nitro foam, but not that different overall. I agree the outsole is phenomenal. I don’t understand why other brands can’t come up with an outsole at least half as good as Pumagrip. In the end, I don’t want to sound more negative than I really am: I actually like my DN2 (it helps I got them for very little money), they’re quite good and so versatile they’ll probably end up being my « vacation pair », but they’re definitely not shoe of the year material in my book. As always: different strokes...
@EDDBUD It's holding up real good, the nobbys are smoothed over on the supination side because I strike there. Very little creasing and a slight run-through spot on the heel padding around the back I do believe the outsole is the toughest part of the shoe
Hey Edd, so after almost 3 weeks of Nike insanity with trying out The Vaporfly(too narrow innthe midfoot), the Tempo(too narrow in the midfoot), gettin the alphafly and stickin with it, buying the saucony speed 3 and running the first run in it yesterday to get a new 5K PR out the box, 19min22sec and also getting the deviate nitro 2 for daily stuff and takin it easy in general i just cant see the appeal in the Puma, i think it s a nice shoe, i definitely love the colourway i got, flame orange white pink, and it s a really nice ride and relaxed runs with a bit of spEed, the Saucony Speed 3 feels like an out of this world monster in Comparison… it just blew me out of the water, the Speed, i started runnin and i couldn t keep up with how it got me running… it feels insanely good, whereas the Deviate Nitro 2 is quite good but meh. Butbyeah Puma Grip is just ❤❤ and overall it s a very nice nice shoe.
As usual great review. 👏🏼👍 i have the deviate Nitro 2 as well. Really great comfortable shoes. I bought mine for just 86€. When will you finally do the unique Edbud smell test again? 😆
Its a very good shoe, for half marathon and marathon training. Good for treshold long, easy or daily. But dont feel it do 5/10 K pace especially good. But a very good and cheap shoe. But if you have this and a racing shoe (my choice Takumi Sen 8 or Adios Pro 2, on sale) you have a very cheap setup.
@EDDBUD Thanks for the review. I just got mine in the mail today. It seems like Puma upgraded the plate “PWRPLATE carbon fiber power plate” is what they are calling it. For the latest iteration of the Deviate Nitro 2 (12/17/23). How do you think the Deviate Nitro 2 compares to the Adi Boston 12 and do you have a preference?
Nice video as always! Do you think these as so fast as Tempo Next? Iam looking for some shoes capable to give me the response that Tempo Next gave me in my fast training (tempo and intervals).
Good morning, from Spain. A single question : I usually wear size 10usa 9uk in Pegasus, ride 15, 2080 and so on. Should I wear the same in deviate 2? Thanks. We love your reviews.
Hey Edd, Another great review! I am contemplating if I should send back my freshly bought Boston 11 and wait for the Boston 12 (which looked a lot better than the 11 from just the photos we’ve seen) oooooor get a pair of these Pumas. As a Adidas Fanboy I usually run a size 48 or 47,5 in Nike shoes, both a US13. Now these Pumas only come in a 47/13 or 48,5/14. do you have recommendation in that regard? Cheers from Germany
Thanks Edd, another great review! Quick question, if you could buy only one right now, would you opt for this or the Deviate Nitro Elite (currently available for just north of 80 Earth Credits) as an uptempo training and occasional race day shoe?
Hi edd 👋 , I've been trying to get a puma shoe for 4 months ( waiting 4 a sale ) but always went a different shoe , if I can find the velocity 2 or dev 2 as I wanted one of them before novablast 3 they'll straight into the line up 😀
Do you recommend this shoe for someone who is running at pace 8:34min/km (13:47min/mile) and going to race his first HM? Currently using noosa tri-14 for all of my run
Hey EDD , how would you compare the Deviate Nitro 2 versus the Velocity Nitro 2 in terms of stability ? Does the foam collapse less or some thing since it is dual foam plus a plate ? I was wondering if this plated shoe could handle "some overpronation" or if it is another racing/training shoe that only pure neutral feet runners can use and totally have a delight time with it. Thanks.
From a stability point of view, I'd rank Puma ForeverRun Nitro 1st and Velocity Nitro 2 2nd ahead of this shoe (I have all 3). Your body weight on the carbon plates in Deviate Nitro 2 makes the shoe spring-loaded and it constantly urges your feet to get moving and it's only stable when you do brisk walking, jogging or running on it. Because of the springing/bouncing effect from your body weight on the carbon plates, it's not really suited for all-day casual walking and standing still for long periods.
Hey Edd, appears you got the wide version asper the black colourway, how would you say it fits? Some people have complained about a tight toebox in the regular sizing.
Have v1 and also got the endorphin speed 3 this year. Not sure if I need another one in the same category… what at I missing out on the midsole? I’m thinking of getting the tempus….
Ed how do you go at Heardle? I imagine that you would be a bit of a gun. I tend to nail them pretty early on if I know the song but there's a decent chunk I've just never heard before.
693km into my pair. Starting to see reasonable wear on the outsole but still feels fantastic. Agree this a superb shoe, don't hesitate buy a pair now!
Seems like Puma is spot on with their daily trainers. I'm also looking forward to 2nd version of liberate nitro.
I'm with you here, Ed - shoe of the year for me. Cheers Sir
It’s a pleasant surprise. Especially at discount!
I’ve got loads of shoes (obviously), but the Velocity v2, Deviate v2 and Deviate Elite are proving to be a top combo for all my training needs.
Loving this one. Spot on feel between trainer and racer. The grip….. amazing
Thanks for the review Ed! I just picked up a pair today for $39.99 based on your review. Can’t wait to try them out. 👍
For that price you can’t lose!
Ok I got theses yesterday and OMG my instant favorites! you are a genius, Edd and Puma
Yes they have it were it counts!
Thanks for bringing attention to this shoe.. It's really a good option. Most of us didn't even notice it.

@@EDDBUD thanks! Love your superbly detailed reviews.
This shoe is great! So underrated. I just use it as a daily trainer but it could totally handle speedy stuff too.

Im super excited to get my pair (arriving tomorrow). Picked up for £98 from Puma direct on a Black Friday deal.
18km first run in these yesterday, they are remarkable. Super comfortable, I barely knew they were there.
Spot on. Glad they are doing the business.

I love the first iteration of the nitro (my favorite for daily runs and speed work), so any tweaks are totally welcome 👍🏻

How are you finding them? I've just ordered a pair myself, I'm hoping they'll provide a superior experience to the Nike Miler Shield I've been relying on for getting through inclement weather.
@@MrAsthenia excellent, just like the regular version only 9 grams more.
Very versatile shoe. Thanks for the review once again. Can you please review the Salomon glide max. Love from Australia
Great, good for running and walking , the most comfortable show I've worn in the last few years. Don't alter this shoe, I'd buy two pairs for the pure comfort. I love the spring from the heel to the lower foot. Not had a shoe that can do that.. 5/5 for me.
Will be interesting to see what the v3 will be like
Wish really i had got a second pair of these instead of the velocity 2 but only used the velocity once but will be surprised if they are as versatile as the Deviate.
Puma have caught all the leeches.
Puma have some great stuff. Top value compared to some other “top” brands.
Interesting, I ordered a pair of these puma’s online as we speak, so couldn’t try them on. I got the saucony triumph 20 now aswell, but I’m not a big fan, to ‘squishy’ for my liking, hoping for a firmer ride with the deviate.
@@LizaKoogI run my marathon with my first pair and they were really good. I recently ordered my new ones again the puma deviate nitro 2.
Oh yeah. These will be in my rotation especially for my snowy wet runs cuz of that puma grip. But also I like having fast shoes that can also run slow too
Great versatile model this one
Shoe of the year... by far!
Yes it’s right up there
I have velocity v1 and there still going strong when there totally knackered I’ll spend more hard earned earth credits on a pair of these next year
literally LOL'd at the "family car but with a leather interior" sentiment. my humor might be a bit broken
It’s got the estate car with extra upgraded components about it. A little more weight but still has the performance
Just picked up the Velocity 2 for 42 Earth Credits. Crazy.
There arent that many speedy options fo running on snow, which we have here in north for 5 months. This sounds like the best option for winter workouts. After all you cant just run easy runs during long winter period..
Insane grip in all conditions
I absolutely love this shoe 😃 although the powertape on the top box and round the eyelets are peeling off my right shoe! But I’m willing to forgive that when it’s so comfortable and performs so well 👌
Fantastic shoe!
I did a first run in them last Sunday and completely agree Ed. The sizing was a bit odd to me though. Now I have to first retire my Mach 4 before I can really start using them. About 140kms to go. 😄
Yeah mine too but it’s not a massive issue to be honest.
The shoe sanctuary is looking pretty full today Edd, we won't be able to see the wall behind you soon 😄
Potage bonne femme!
I think I can get some more in. Will send beast down the market on Friday morning with some old pairs of next%
Woah, even beating the Adios 7!
Yes this time Puma take it
Great video Ed. I tried getting it from Puma and it only had size 6. Very difficult to get this shoe in the States. Amazon had it with only U.K sizes, so I had to get a size U.K 10 since I'm a U.S 11.
Odd they are not distributing it all that much in the us.
I'm picking up a pair!
I got these in the Amazon deal too. Yet to run in them but they feel incredibly comfortable on foot and I'm hoping they're a bit more versatile than the Speed 2's have been for me (the Puma Grip certainly inspires a lot of confidence, especially going into Winter running season)
A cracking shoe. Glad I got it in for testing
Could you do like a round-up video for the running event as a ton of new shoes from a ton of new models were shown
Will probably wait a little. I find it a bit weird that they are pushing shoes of which some previous versions have just come out. It’s getting like basketball shoes and hype beast stuff!
Definitely on my wallet’s radar after this review. 👍
A really good shoe. Took the best bits of all the other pumas and put them together.
Must try this out and pray it's wide enough, don't typically find Adidas and Puma shoes wide enough.
It’s certainly a very curved toebox towards the front. Not one for foot splay!
Nice, I'm waiting for mine, but in the first mile edition
Enjoy when they arrive!
@@EDDBUD thanks
Edd, how about a video comparing this with the Adios 7? ...if not just tell us what you think here ☺️... Thanks
This is by far more compressive and cushioned than the Adios 7 and a little less narrow. But more weight.
@@EDDBUD I have the Adios 6 and I love it.. this Puma or the Adios 7 for long runs and longer workouts to prepare for a HM (I use the hyperion tempo on the track)?
I like the looks of it!
It’s a great profile shoe too. Looks great in the black and white
I have over 500 miles on a pair of nitro 2s, The USA Puma websites have them discounted when I looked yesterday 8/6
Cant beat that type of value, hows the outsole?
@EDDBUD It's holding up real good, the nobbys are smoothed over on the supination side because I strike there. Very little creasing and a slight run-through spot on the heel padding around the back
I do believe the outsole is the toughest part of the shoe
They are oddly quite odourless!
Great shoe review ! Thank you ! Great musical selection too !
Top notch shoe and tune!
Just got the Novablast 3 for €102.. So need to save again for the Puma 🙄
Totally agree
Great review, Edd! Quick question - I know this is more an uptempo daily shoe but could you use it for longer marathon training runs too?
I see no reason why not 👍🏼
@EDDBUD Thanks for the review.
Similar shoes the deviate nitro 2 and Boston 12. Slightly better fit in the adidas this time
Nice video as always! Do you think these as so fast as Tempo Next? Iam looking for some shoes capable to give me the response that Tempo Next gave me in my fast training (tempo and intervals).
I predict better durability than the tempo next as it doesn’t have the accordion rubber from the air pods to the midfoot.
puma grip's lugs are for mud and snow-- their rubber outsole is what gave them rep-- shoe for all season. very tacky... ❤️
Well done

Good morning, from Spain. A single question : I usually wear size 10usa 9uk in Pegasus, ride 15, 2080 and so on. Should I wear the same in deviate 2? Thanks.
We love your reviews.
The deviate nitro 2 is true to size
Ed. Nitro foam is TPE based and not EVA based.
Fair enough, whatever it is, its good
they need to bring the heel stack to 34mm and the forefoot to around 28mm
Seems fine to me
Hey Edd,
Another great review!
Wasn’t keen on the Boston at all. The Adios 7 much better. Pumas run a little long for me.
@@EDDBUD heard that a lot about the Boston. The adios seems a bit „flat“ for a daily trainer for my height/weight
Thanks for the interesting review! If there is no peeling, what would be the upper score? 😄
3/3 for upper without the need for glue.
Thanks Edd, another great review! Quick question, if you could buy only one right now, would you opt for this or the Deviate Nitro Elite (currently available for just north of 80 Earth Credits) as an uptempo training and occasional race day shoe?
The deviate 2 absolutely fits that use case Martin.
@@EDDBUD Cheers Edd! Very tempted to give them a whirl next time they're on offer.
Don’t see why not. It’s comfortable though though maybe too rigid for that. Look at the magnify 2 or velocity nitro 2
Skechers named a shoe after your cat Ed. Will we see it on "running shoe yay or nay"?
I will have to test out the speed beast. It’s a given!
Hiii Edd, Is there any difference deviate nitro 2 & deviate nitro 2 one8.
Regards from India
Not sure on the other model
Hi Edd. For easy medium-long paces what do you prefer? Novablast 3 or the puma?
Probably the Puma. I shall put that to the test today
Thanks.
It’s pretty good stability wise. The plate and rubber help with that
From a stability point of view, I'd rank Puma ForeverRun Nitro 1st and Velocity Nitro 2 2nd ahead of this shoe (I have all 3).
Nah it’s standard fit
Have v1 and also got the endorphin speed 3 this year. Not sure if I need another one in the same category… what at I missing out on the midsole? I’m thinking of getting the tempus….
It’s cushioned but not as squashy as the speed 3. You don’t notice the plate in this in a good way.
definitely this over novablast 3 (TR)?
Not tried the tr. this is much more a capable winter shoe with the rugged outsole.
Ed how do you go at Heardle? I imagine that you would be a bit of a gun. I tend to nail them pretty early on if I know the song but there's a decent chunk I've just never heard before.
I wasn’t aware of this game till now!
@@EDDBUD I hope you enjoy it then! How did you go today? I've heard this one before so got it in the first second.
Is this shoe more comfortable than the saucony ride 15? Thanks a lot.
Personally yes it’s more cushioned and for me was a more engaging ride.
I never used puma running shoes edd are they any good 🙂👍
Yes superb now.
Can you please recommend puma's model equivalent to pegasus. This one has carbon plate so I guess it not a daily trainer in true sense?
Velocity nitro 2 is your shoe.
But could this be a daily trainer if I only want to get one pair of shoes?
How would you compare this to the Nike Vomero 16?
Bit more “up for it” less a cruiser and bit more versatile.
