"He's peein all over me....That's the pissinist fish I've ever seen in my life" 🤣🤣🤣 Richard Gene is the man!!! You gave me the confidence to start my own fishing channel! I'm talkin about WOOOOO!!!
Letting the cat outta the bag. Split tail trick worms. Great tutorial. Thanks Richard. That technique will save the day for alot of your viewers, including me!!
I hope all of are preying for Jimmy Houston’s wife Chris as she and the whole family can use all the preys you can give them. God is heeling Chris so she can go home soon!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍❤️
Didn’t finish watching the video but took a trick worm and setup like you showed and walked over to the pond next to my house. Fished it just like you showed. Got a bite on the first cast but didn’t land it. Caught a 2 pounder on the third cast. Thank you Richard Gene the Fishing Machine, enjoy all your videos and have learned a ton following you.
I sure do enjoy all your videos Mr Richard and thank you for keeping it fun and clean language so my kids can in enjoy all of your content as well. You are a class act
What other fisherman would reveal a secret like that ? Not many I gather . Richard Gene is a great teacher and ALWAYS willing to share his knowledge on the sport of fishing. A sport that is second to none ! Whoooooo !
Fish with black trick worms all the time and never thought of doing that! Thanks for the help Richard! Also bought 200$ worth of Mr perry's jigs! Love them. Thanks for all the info you provided! Great channel 👏
I would like to say thank you for this video. Since I started fishing with this method I have been catching bass every time I go to my pond. Before watching this video I hardly ever caught a bass. Thanks Again. Jeff
Thanks again for all your tips and tricks to catch fish instead of just fishing. You are the fishing machine whoooooooooo!!!! Can't get enough of go fishing its goooooooooooood fur ye!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean me !!!!!! God bless you and momma Sue !
Thank you, sir, for one of the most pleasant UA-cam videos I've ever seen. Not bass fishing videos, or even fishing in general, but one of _THE_ most pleasant I've seen in over 20 years.
Love the tips! I took your crappie jig set up and went out and caught my biggest crappie ever with 2 lb test! it was a blast. Thanks for what you do RGTFM!
@@joshsinglefooter thanks for asking I caught one large mouth within about 30 minutes on the clapper rig but then our trolling Motor quit working so we had to leave about one hour in
I really enjoy watching your channel. You are a man of my own heart. My wife and I absolutely love fishing. Crappie are our fish of choice however, if it swims we enjoy catching it....lol
Thanks Rich for the Elmo's clapper special WOOOOOO. Boy it's a Bass go-getter. Thanks Rich so much for learning me something new.. God Bless you & mama Sue. Love everything you do for us!!
I appreciate the fishing lesson with the big plastic worm with a basic spinning reel and rod. I previously assumed my rod and reel was inadequate for big plastic worms. I am gonna try the clapper trick soon. Richard's lesson gave me confidence. TY
Dear Richard, You make the best fishing content in UA-cam hands down. I was wondering if you’d make a video about all the baits and lures you keep on hand throughout the year and your essentials for each species and how you go about organizing said lures and baits. I appreciate that you aren’t really a gear oriented channel but I think that, coupled with your knowledge a video like this would be great for beginner to intermediate anglers so they can sift through what they need and don’t need and what actually works and what’s mostly hype or marketing. Thanks for the content, Ian
Thanks ol boy for the hot tip. I'm going to call it " The Richard Gene Splits" ifin ya don't mind. Love your channel man!!! You know how to get it done. Thanks for what you do.
This is the same technique I use with smaller black and pumkin seed worms for crappie. They LOVE it. It is a good technique to use when the bite is slow.
Love my aluminum boat. Can't afford power poles, so I got two fiberglass poles from Tractor Supply, I push them into the bottom and tie to my cleats. Can do that from front or back of boat, or one of each. Love to see you fish with reasonable price gear. I fished with my best friend last week, each rod and reel combo was from $200 to $400. I didn't enjoy that any more than I enjoy fishing with my garage sale rods and reels.
Mr. Gene, I have enjoyed watching your videos with your tips for catching more fish. I especially love the colorful commentary. Keep it up and keep on fishing! 😁
Big male anywhere brother. Love your vids and just from one man to another I want to say I love your disposition and attitude towards life in general. I also try to emulate that in my life. You are a good fellow and I appreciate what you do. From your neighbor in SW MS
Awesome video Richard!!! I love watching your videos. Thankyou for taking the time and showing different techniques. I can’t wait to try that with the worms. You have taught me so much on how to catch crappie. I don’t use minnows anymore. I use nothing but Bobby garland jigs now. Thankyou for your videos. Remember go fishing when you can because it’s good for you. God bless you Richard.
Those guys on that boat probably watching through binoculars saying is that Richard Gene the fishing Mechine let's try to steal some secrets so we can catch at least one fish today lol
I'm most definitely going to try this thats why I love watching your videos you don't make videos to make money you actually teach people techniques and you walk us through it step by step keep on making these great videos
Mr. Gene, I love your channel. You are a master fisherman. Can you give us all a lesson on drag in your future videos? I love watching you catch these big fish on line that is light ... I really do ... I wanna know how to do it too!
I love the spinning set up to many baitcaster videos on YT I prefer to fish light as possible 6lb test and under so I have to be very careful in my casts and retrieve
I use alot of zoom 6 inch u- tail worms. Like the pumpkin seed or the red shad color, my favorites for bass since I was a kid, but ima try this trick with trick worms cause it looks so darn deadly! Or I could just split the u tail worms when the bluegills nip the tails off lol! Richard gene is a fishing mastermind and a legend, you'll Always learn something new from his videos!🎣
Happy Birthday young lady, your dad is a heck of a man and we really enjoy his entertainment lol. Happy 6th be sure to give your pops a hard time for us.
I have been subscribed to your channel for a long time. But this worm, "Clapper Tail Worm", is the best!! I have to try this technique with the worm. This is awesome!!!
Richard have you ever thrown the clapper on a shaky head instead of weightless? Curious as to how the action would work. Fish on and beautiful scenery where you’re at.
my grandpa showed me that trick when i was little ......he also showed me hook it right in the middle and let it flap off sideways ....works amazing never fails.
Another great fishing trip and a great tip on the trick 🪱 I'm going to try it on my lake's thanks RICHARD FOR THE GREAT VIDEO GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
I've always had best of luck with white during the day and black at night. That neon orange works great at night too. Best thing about a truck worm is once the head gets whooped, just hook it directly through the center and twitch it to ya. You almost get more strikes that way, even with all of the hook exposed. They ignore the hook and go for the flopping U-shaped weirdo they see. I'm a big twitcher though, keeping the bait 1"-10" below the surface.
Richard, I love you, man, subscribe and watch all your videos, and will continue. I strongly suggest to avoid shooting into the sun on intros and such - this one @0:17 as an example why. I know you can't control where you catch a fish, and I am not talking about those shots. Just the ones you can control. Have a blessed day!
