I dont know whats worse, the way in which this guy cooks his food, or the fact that all of it somehow looks 10x more edible than anything jack or kay have ever managed to produce

Honestly, if this man had a proper station to cook food, I feel like he could become unstoppable as the only thing stopping people from eating it, is that it was made and cooked in a bathroom

Also, Mr Duck gets hyberbolic often about what’s actually cross contamination. Eggs are sterile and USA eggs come washed which is why they must be cold unilke European store eggs.
The contaminant can still be on the shell but the chances are so low of first having salmonella, and then cross containaimng any significant amount from shell to egg is ridiculously low.
I’ve had hundreds of raw eggs and never had food poisoning or barely even a bad diahrea episode.
Just keep washing your hands and don’t be really obviously dumb with wet poultry and ground meat.
They make sushi chicken in Japan ffs. Yes, it’s farmed to a high standard but just proves they’re not a nuclear bomb of germs.
More people get sick from salads.
@@gianni_schicchi Dude pls...I am talking about what he does in his actual videos; bathroom and eggs aside, the man does not have "clean" as a priority; I've seen a good number of his vids already. And he has a particular affinity for raw/under-cooked meat; though his ratio of cooked to uncooked is far better than a certain infamous Jack.

As someone who currently works at a hotel overnight, who very recently had to explain to a grown woman with a child, that she could not in fact boil floor cleaner on the stove to "Make the room smell nicer"....This is absolutely not a surprise. He's also likely at an extended stay given his setup. Which are not the cleanest of places to start with. -.- Just as the staff for cook sets. Most of the time they have them, fresh out the box for ridiculously cheap rate.

I was a guard at a fancy grocery store that decided to open a location with a pay by the week extended stay hotel right behind it and I've seen alot. People hiding t bone steaks underneath their babies in the carriage, people sneaking laundry detergent in gas station fountain drink cups, homeless war veterans stealing cell phones from war veteran customers in wheelchairs. Ive run across the highway twice chasing after someone and found used heroin syringes in the toilet after someone took a big ol heroin poop. I cannot stand extended stay hotels. It was the hotel behind the rouses in Theodore, Alabama. I really dont have alot of sympathy for addicts and thieves after what they put me through
I work as a housekeeper in a hotel, if he did this where I work, every hotel in the vicinity would be warned, and he'd be denied access anywhere else! And I really have an issue with guests who disrespect their rooms! 😤 We have to clean up after them!
I can only imagine how hard your job is. People can be incredibly inconsiderate and leave everything in a mess.

I was a housekeeper at different motels , and you find yourself cleaning some pretty disgusting things and to get rid of the smell is a nightmare
Yes I was one as well. Stuff I seen and found was crazy. My father-in-law was one as well and he found $900 in a dresser drawer. He turned it into the manager but nothing more said about it
I was a "housemen" aka I ran sheets up and helped set up yalls carts. YES screw doing anything like that in a hotel. People are gross.😂🎉

Its not that fartfetched or uncommon lol, I lived out a hotel room for 4 months and made all of my meals in a countertop electric frying pan, crock pot and the microwave.

I've always said you can tell how good a restaurant is by how clean the bathroom is and this chef cuts right to the chase and puts the restaurant right in the bathroom!

Gordon Ramsay has visited some restaurants in the past where the bathroom was never clean with fecal matter or bodily fluid stains up to the ceiling! He knows from that special light which also helps him know if there’s any sort of cleaning
Okay so I have some thoughts.
1. Maybe this guy only lives in hotels because of financial hardship.
2. His bathroom food looks far more edible than Jack’s kitchen food.

He has a very limited amount of supplies, it seems from the video. That could be cheaply acquired or gifted.
And honestly a lot of people are limited like this. So showing and encouraging and maybe inspiring others via education on the internet is something to be applauded!

The saddest part is there are 'extended stay hotels' where you can literally live there for a few weeks at a time and they have cookware. They have electric ranges.
And they are costly not everyone can afford that

I worked at Central Station, Sydney. There was a power point in the toilet. The toilet had multiple cubicles and urinals and typically did not smell the best. Went in to clean once and there was someone with a small electric cooker making bacon and eggs.
Stuff like that is why you gotta be careful who you eat from. Got me thinking they should really put home economics class back into schools; people need to be taught more life skills.

In all seriousness, that toilet steak was probably the safest thing I saw him make. The water in the tank is clean, and the steak was in a sealed package when he cooked it. Overall, it's not terrible compared to everything else he made.
Edit: I noticed that his sous vide is set at what looks like 120 degrees. Mold is killed at 140 or higher. At 120 in that water it would most likely make the mold problem worse. However factory seals are very very good and it would keep that out. Still using a decent vacume sealer and proper sous vide bags would be better. Not only for general safety but then you can add some salt, pepper, garlic, and butter and have a very tasty steak straight out of the bag.
Sometimes there's mold in the tank, and often harsh chemical are put in it. It's hand washing water before it's drinking water

you’re not supposed to sous vide in the the plastic it comes in. He should have used a proper sous vide bag. I have one that uses a hand pump and works great and would fit in his little kit like a stick of gum.
I actallly don’t see anything too terrible as supposed to using random counter tops in other rooms you don’t know, in the first video.
It’s certainly aesthetically unappealing though. 😂

This guy reminds me of someone who managed to not only make food that smelled like electrical burning, but also singlehandedly fried an industrial convection oven’s circuitry trying to make a pizza during a blackout. These people have iron stomachs and should be feared as harboring something in their guts that could cause some kind of disaster if unleashed.
I think it’s quite appropriate that he’s cooking in the bathroom since that’s where he’s going to be spending the rest of his time after he eats that food.

As someone who lives in Indiana, I can tell you with 85% certainty that this man is a Hoosier Gremlin. He dresses like one, he calls potatoes taters ironically like one, and he has complete disregard for others in their surroundings like one. And also, he and Jack cook with pre-packaged things like Midwesterners, so there’s that.
This is the type of people my mom is raising me to not be.
The ingenuity of how he’s making it is amazing, but what he’s making is terrifying.

This is definitely a lot more sanitary than cooking in jail or prison.
I've done some pretty serious hotel room cooking while road tripping the US. You get creative when you're on the road for months. You'd be shocked by how many things you can cook with the classic cheap hotel electric coffee pot.
Most hotels have a microwave and coffee maker and an iron. Kinda surprised he didn't set some kind of an alarm off.
The saddest and most disturbed part about all of this, is that this method came from trial and error. Meaning, he has perform this monstrous culinary experiment dozens of times to actually get it right. And with the social media platform as it is, the methods seen here will be duplicated, and inevitably multplied.
