    Coming from someone who have dealt with unhealthy INFJs, ENFJs, ISFJs and ESFJs in the past but also close ones. I always felt that the FJs form of emotional formality can go too far sometimes and end up making them far too stiff and judgemental, strict and tensed up. Many times they just need to loosen up more and just not forget about themselves also. It is so important. To continue to do what makes them happy and also gives them energy. I have seen far too many go out of their way and self sacrifice for the good of others and then just end up being drained and hurt in the process. As many mentioned in the episode, to look for the emotional needs in others, I really have to turn all of the comments towards you guys also. It is so important to step away sometimes and really deal with your own spaghetti box of stuff.
    Lots of love n' good vibes.
    ENFP-A

    I love Joyce what you say about cutting down all the layers and conditioning. I can really get lost in my own and others conditioning, and I fell like so much conflict can be avoided if you try to see yourself or other people as they really are, and not all the insecurities and wants made by other people or the society.

    Such a wonderful panel to see the differences between the NFJ and SFJ. As a child I've always been fascinated with human behaviours, Archetypes, psychology and sociology. People of all cultures and backgrounds truly fascinate me
    As an SFJ I'm focused on how to help people in the present time. Helping in a practical way that is methodical and structured for success. I try to find local solutions than global solutions. The sooner the better. A wonderful panel!

    New to the channel - knew it was time to subscribe when Joyce was talking about penetrating people down to the soul level and said "I want to know the 'you' you, not the non-'you' you".

    I really enjoyed the talks about how to give to other people and altruism. I like the idea around giving from a place of “no self”. That there is just the giving/the action and that in itself is beautiful and enough.

      Yes, this is Bhakti/devotion. One of the 4 pillars of Yoga ( real yoga, not just asanas/hatha yoga ), which is a path to "enlightenment", clarity of the nature of the Self. The real self.

    I am INFJ myself, I admit, I have my analytical side, I have a bit a philosophical side, I have always been one of the warmest and caring people one could ever meet. As you know, we can be a bit detached, some people wonder about me I do admit. Also, as you know, you gotta watch out for an INFJs cold side, never a good sign, is it. However, I love the fact that we can get people to just open up to us, not even try. I will never tell any secrets, I will take them to the grave.

      I have had four friends over querentine just randomly start talking to me about they’re problems and emotions out of no where. It’s not like they all talked and decided to, but one by one I guess they all realised I have the potnential of a therapist. So now I make time once a week to talk to my patients 😂
      Edit: I’m a very acedemic person so I’m a very logical, analytical, and philosophical person. I could argue that analytical could just be because of our perfectionism and our love for curiosity

      @@sethvandycke904 yeah, people do that out of nowhere, even people I've known for 5 minutes. There are also people who like to attack us just like that but as mentioned here, they should be aware of our cold side. Once we turn cold on someone, there's no turning back, so anyone should be careful with their actions and words around us. If a person wants to take advantage of our wisdom and ask us for solutions they should respect us and know that the insights we give are helpful but rare, so if they lose that, it's not going to be easy to find someone with that kind of perspective.

    I noticed that their answers on how they would describe themselves seemed to spawn from the external value that they provide to or can offer others instead of what they personally believe they excel at from an Fi value-oriented perspective. So it makes sense that there was difficulty in answering the question and some defaulted to the value-based feedback that they have received from others that they felt they resonated with. I think when we FJs are faced with questions like these, the general trend is to talk about yourself which feels very self-above-tribe like and creates a value-based dilemma for those with high Fe, so this is our authentic way of showcasing without emphasizing what we are about.

    • @JoyceMeng22
      @JoyceMeng22  2 роки тому +3

      Yeah, I noticed that too. Fe is aware of tribe feedback, and looks at how it comes off to other people as a way to understand their Fi (who they are).

    Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ if you consider you may be responsible for your “altruistic” choices and the subsequent consequences for the interests of the other you are labeled as needy. Doesn’t make sense to me.
