    Kool vid showing off the Carpet Python, and talking the sub-species alike.
    I have two of the Southwesterncarpetpython, the Morelia Imbricata.
    These are shown to be base taxonomically to be separated from the spilota species and subs. Very placid and 3asy to cohabitation..
    Cheers for your vid 🐍🤘

      Yes I do want one of these and I want a dumeril boa . Normally even the biggest coastels pythons don't get over ,9ft often right ? Unless rare occasions . Most people I see that do have really big ones are 7.5 ft for females and biggest male was under 6.5 ft

      So you agree that a coastal carpets is very similar to blood pythons and red tail boas ? But the heaviest blood I saw was 50 pounds and idk bout red tails heaviest but it's somewhere 100 pounds for the 14 footers@@JzsReptiles

    I just recently tried to purchase a jungle jag from Gopheryourpets Joseph Champlin in Houston, but he took my money kept promising to send it for over a month but never did deliver. I'm still in the market for a Carpet python and am out $277.00. I wish there were something I could do, I'm just afraid he's ripping other people off as well. Love your channel, you have some beautiful animals, do you have any carpets for sell?

    I love Carpet Pythons. I mostly keep ball pythons and colubrids, but Carpets are probably one my favorite species along with retics. I only have one, a Carmel jungle jag, but she is fascinating to watch and after she comes out of her tub she’s quite easy to handle, she just doesn’t like the initial contact, lol.

    Bout how much can these snakes weight if you were to have a big girl get 10 ft plus coastal carpets cus I hear them ones getting largest . How will you say they stack up vs dumerils boas and blood pythons ? I often see vids of carpets eating really big prey adult chicken's, turkeys,ducks, goose,possums, raccoons,skunks, and from what I see they eat anything lizards, birds don't matter maybe even can try fish even doe cus never did see it but I'm sure captivity they will if giving .

    • @TomS-u4s
      @TomS-u4s Рік тому +1

      Cool story. Most carpets that get bigger than average are because of overfeeding which in turn reduces their lifespan. The More You Know

    • @imvandenh
      @imvandenh Рік тому +1

      Lucky you. I had two carpet pythons who hissed and struck for all of the 8 years I had them. Thought I could tame them and build trust through regular and proper handling, which I did to some extent but they never really took to being handled. I have more bite scars than I can begin to count from those two. Never been bitten by any other snake besides those two carpets and a Mojave rattlesnake when I got too close as a child who didn't know any better.

    • @LeperMessiah2
      @LeperMessiah2 Рік тому

      @@TomS-u4s haha the ratios are perfect and the scales have no spread at all so no overfeeding here. There is 15% of another Morelia in her though.. Guess which because it's so rare most people don't know about it. Lets say this bloodline only exists in Northern Europe.
