    Glad I found your channel! I love Carpet Pythons. Don't have any yet, but hope to when the time is right! I would really love to see some of the brightly colored ones, striped, and zebras!

    Very cool video! I’ve been wanting to learn more about the various pythons and this layout is so easy to follow. The still shots are fantastic, as well.

    Australia checking in. Great to see someone, giving these guys some attention overseas. They are a very rewarding species and a great pet for the beginner. I must disagree and say, M.s mcdowelli get huge, I have had several from 16 up to 18 foot long and seen several the same or larger basking with wallaby inside them in the wild. Great channel.

    I've got a M.S Imbricata, here in the southern area of Perth, Australia... such a placid well behaved snake... even as a Hatchling they are easy to socialise with humans... a very secretive hidden species and not much data on them, which is why I document every little detail as I can, even if it seems irrelevant..
    Enjoyed your Vid... cheers for sharing 👍

    I’m so interested in carpet pythons but I have never owned a snake. I plan on getting my first this year and am doing plenty of research daily. Do you think the jungle carpets would be okay as a first snake if I was dedicated to them? A few people have told me”just get a ball python” and I absolutely don’t want one. I don’t want what everybody else wants. The carpets are by far my favorites

    So what do you think about Carpondros? Is it worth getting into them on a breeding level what’s you’re opinion?

    • @ericburkeebmorelia
      @ericburkeebmorelia  4 роки тому +1

      Carpandros are cool. I don’t have any and don’t think it’s my thing but very cool looking snakes. I always tell people if you want to breed something do what you like and not what’s cool. You can always make what you like cool.

    Coastal Pythons are the best!. Mine's soo placid & easy to handle. I often feel that initially I was given the wrong info. At first, I believed the crowd & opted for a children's python as my first snake & it was soo aggressive! & when I researched coastals the common perception was they are more snappy. Yet, he's soo tame. Just goes to show that you just have to go with your gut.

      @@stickygingers5671 My first snake was a jungle carpet! I absolutely love them and got into them on the low end, got rid of that and started getting into higher quality carpets. Now I have 5 of them. Very easy to care for and a pleasure to work with. Would recommend them to anyone.
