Our ancestors could only imagine how the solar system’s planets looked up close. Then along came telescopes, and we were able to see them a little closer from Earth. But as technology evolved, we were able to create probes and send them off to get a closer look at the gas giants, the rocky worlds, and even as close as we can get to the Sun without one burning up.
For the first time in human history, we can now observe images of the celestial bodies in our solar system with a level of detail that was once only possible through fiction movies.
Get ready to see sunlight glinting off the lakes of the solar system moons, the clearest views of Jupiter that unraveled its fascinating mysteries, and the microscopic details of the Sun's structure as we get closer than ever to the amazing and mysterious worlds, and see them like you’ve never seen them before.

9:22 Once my ex~flat-earther friend had realised that everything we receive from these brilliant space ships is in the form of ones and zeros and that the cameras are therefore black and white, it took me several sessions to bring him back to loving the images. He couldn't get from b&w, 1&0 to false colour being anything other than the elite hoodwinking the rest of us.
See how poisoning many of these alternative theories can become!
Thank you Destiny.
As beautiful as Neptune is, it isn't as blue as previously claimed. "Early Neptune images from Voyager 2 were strongly contrast enhanced." - University of Oxford.
So beautiful and very well written script.
This is incredible.
This video brings us to the real journey to the solar system
"...There aren't any great images of Uranus..."
I should hope not.
That was an incredible video ! Thank you 🙏
Those were beautiful pictures of Uranus 😏
Loved it.
When a cyclone is the size of a planet, the temperature variations must be crazy
Amazing images.
Amazing
This probably how our planet earth looked to the Marsians billions of years ago 😂
Who knew that Saurons origin was Saturn!! 😏
Miles are used in Albion, not on the continent.
It is newly discovered that Neptune is more Uranus' color and not as blue as we once thought. Earth is still the bluest planet.
How do you know the color of my anus
Not new we e known the storm disappears to
"There aren't many great images of uranus but the jwst and others alike will soon change that" 🤳🏻🕳️
In another alien world, they are probably taking secret pictures of us just like we're doing 😂😂😂😂them aliens may be seeing your dirty deeds... Lol 😂
not probably. We do.
Now that thought will be in my mind every time!! 😂😂
You've just chanced upon a basic tenet of the world's greatest religions.
God is watching was quite a powerful idea when I was a little lad.
But not as much as when my grandma passed away and I was told not to worry as
Grandma's always looking down on you.
Meant in a loving way, but had several unintended consequences as a teenage boy.
I like your videos
14:46 Impossible to not laugh... 😂
im really touched by looking at the sun up-close.Imagine the heat on your face
14:35 If indeed the narrator is one of those over - hyped AI jobs, it's one of the least offensive that I've heard (or most heavily edited).
My question is, if AI did it come with the ol' fashioned pronunciation built in, or did you artful production team members have to reprogram it?
Bit tangential my query, but...I couldn't work in the word but otherwise.
Here at the rear end of my comment, I'd like to pass on the admiration of my youngest family members, sons number one and no.2,
the youngest of whom was the only one to notice the cleverly hidden in plain sight
"the butt of many jokes."
Bravo ragazzi!
Voyager 2 visited URANUS for a nice tight shot. How do you feel that it left you never to return?
This narrator sounds like old mate from Kurzgesagt 🤔
Weird the sun looks fuzzy like a cell
Because it’s huge cells of exploding gas billions of them are raging around
4:25 These serendipitous gems make me wonder, what with the tiny size and weight of digital cameras nowadays, why the boffins at NASA, ESA, JAXA &c. haven't included sthg like a silo of them so that they can launch one on such an occasion. It could then stay in a geo-synchronous orbit, film to its heart's content and beam back to the orbiting mother ship so that we wouldn't miss a trick.
NASA working hard on better technology to get closer, clearer pictures of Uranus.
Until they approach (and safely exit) the Oort Cloud, I still consider Voyagers’ well within our solar system.
On its way out of the Solar system Voyager 2 visited my what!? 😂😂
How much time do you spend researching and editing per video?
However long it takes the AI.
Wait if we were on the moon why would it look different if landing on the moons i confused
Who Knows Maybe Some Day We’ll Be Able To See Any Star ,Planet ,Or Moon In The Milky Way In Clear Picture !!!!
there is the crazy but actually physics-based idea of using gravity as a lens. The bigger the object causing the gravity the higher the magnification. We could directly image exoplanets using the suns gravity this way!
the fluff ends at 2:12 (Jupiter)
Life is super fd up
I wish I could visit all planets 🗿
They claimed how ancestors wondered how our solar system looked like to you I say not true good day.
No "like" for science-tech videos w/o SI units everywhere!
Why do they hover around these planets instead of landing on them ? Like they did with Pluto
Saturn & Jupiter would be impossible, and even if a small core existed in the middle, the atmosphere would tear any objects apart.
The none gas giants, they may be able to, but could risk damaging or they may not be able to take off again.
I'm just speculating though
Love learning...y'all should take one of those cameras and fly over parts of the world and try to get a picture of Bigfoot. Just saying.
I came here for the sun, the rest was bollocks.
🙏🙏🙏
11:25 What is "geezers"?
He probably meant geysers
Second ❤
All these moons with water potential and yet we keep sending landing rovers to Mars. Why not Europa or wherever?? 🤷
They're aren't many great images of Uranus
hehehehehehehehehehe
"They're aren't many great images of Uranus" =They are are not many images of Uranus.
I'm guessing you meant 'There aren't many great images of Uranus'.
Sorry bro, but that hurt trying to read what you said.
Auto correct can suck at times like speech to text.
All these worlds are yours….except Europa. Attempt no landing there.
The image is on 20:06
Save you away from these fillers.
So glad this narrator didn’t use kilometers
yeah, i stopped watching at the start of the first commercial that was only a few minutes into the video........bye bye.
Yeah, we could probably take more trips to Mars with cheaper fuel under Trump! 😂😂😂 oh yeah, I ❤️ global warming!
I'm on a mission. I 'Don't recommend channel' all UA-cam scientific channels that insist on using Freedumb units instead of Metric. Unsubscribed also. We're on a planet of 8 billion people and yet most videos are made to appease about 400 million idiots, whose measurement of distance starts off with barleycorn. Sigh
Watching Astrum ha? He made that video 2 months ago, you even stole his thumbnail. Pathetic.
Right, So this channel is a content stealer? Bummer, HbomerGuy even flashed this channel's name in his long video on plagiarism, If I am remembering correctly.
Been feeling like this channel was suspect in that sort of way, what with the text to speech voice narration.
I can guarantee you Astrum could care less. Perhaps you can try not to be so hateful in life. You might live longer.
@@MrCzveare My comment has nothing to do with hate. I'm just stating a fact, and thanks for caring about my well being. Much appreciated. ;)
@@MrCzveare Also, since we're caring about each other. Its "couldn't care less". Saying that one can care less, means they do. Happy to help, lol.
Your-uh-NuhS.. it the but of jokes because mispronunciation
Those images would have had better detail if Trump was in office.😔
Rtard!
Everything's better
MAGA 2024
No
Quite certain of that my good sir. And I believe Trump invented the telescope so it would be fitting.
Hello destiny I am a student in India I can translate your videos in 5 Indian languages and the profit will be 50-50
PLEASE KEEP THE FIGHT UP TO DELETE GARBAGE SIENCE CHALLES!!! . -- Destiny is a great place for honest science, yet is muted by garbage ai built science videos. Please unrecommend so real science can be displayed on UA-cam
To give the channel makers some credit, why don't you give examples of a couple of your greatest bugbears? Better than just declaiming anyday.
wtf is a bugbear??.. your ":imaginary girlfriend " ??? @@JP_TaVeryMuch
