I am new here and just subscribe!! I am not too for sure if I have fungal acne, but watching you makes a huge difference!! You are the very few people that doesn't rely on always Cerave or expensive skincare products, but always make it drugstore options so much!! Love your channel and cannot wait to see more!!
Hello Brooke I just recently discovered you. Background- I have a dry/combo/sensitive skin (totally self diagnosed). I’ve always had a clear smooth skin all my life. I never had any skincare routine. I didn’t even know that we needed one. Then when I turned 32 I stumbled upon the K-Beauty Glass skin routine and I thought hmmm I want a glass skin too. That’s where I learned about skincare, oils, masks, acids, actives etc. Let me tell you girl, I bought all kinds of products over the past 3 years from Soko Glam, Krave, YesStyle, Sephora, Ulta Beauty etc. I did take caution in introducing new products gradually. I’m 35 now. At first it seem to be going really well. I lived in California and recently moved to Vancouver Canada (about 9-10 months back). My oh my! Let me tell you, my skin has been a battleground for all skin problems. Things I’ve never heard of before. I had horrible contact dermatitis, once I battled that, my skin became super clogged and started getting painful breakouts. As I was fighting that, here waltz in fungal acne. I’ve been battling fungal acne for a month now. But I didn’t know how to treat it so I just waited for it to go away while continuing with the same old routine. Bad idea. It got worse. Then I found you and also read a blog about it on simpleskincarescience.com Finally I got the recommended safe skincare and makeup products and I’m on my way to healing hill. While it’s healing my skin from FA, my skin became extremely dry. I look like a 60-70 year old. What do I do? Could you do a video on fungal acne safe products for dry/mature skin? (Skincare and makeup) Thanks.
Hi Borok. I totally understand your frustrations with your skin. I would highly suggest you check out some of my other videos. Do you have a great moisturizing routine in place? It's VITAL for healing your skin. Here's my moisturizers video: ua-cam.com/video/bTus3zucbc8/v-deo.html Here's my current AM/PM skincare routines so you can see what I use the most: AM: ua-cam.com/video/8fMyRzcsTfY/v-deo.html PM: ua-cam.com/video/gfjjUTwskIM/v-deo.html I would highly recommend using the CeraVe moisturizing cream if you're super super dry. I also use a Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Water in my routine to lock in extra moisture. You can find the CeraVe cream here, and check out my videos to see how I implement all the products together! rstyle.me/+ohnCZ5nO2yxdIJFr4tB1_Q

Brooke love your channel!! Could you please make a video about fungal acne safe contour and bronzers? Watched both vids about foundation and concealers and they were really good
Hi Rubaina! I have some sunscreen videos. where I talk about Fungal Acne safe options. ua-cam.com/video/44cXYMom7H8/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/xDSiTv3YNhA/v-deo.html There aren't as many options when it comes to FA safe, so you will have to do some trial and error and see which one works best for you personally. I would say that out of all of them, these would be my top 2 picks for oilier skin. Here are some links #1 Paula's Choice Youth Extending Fluid SPF 50: rstyle.me/+_iaNKGtWPaFzeDN1WLG05Q #2 Cotz Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40: rstyle.me/+b0iZXloDkE16zKJFG960rQ
I’ve been searching high and low..... I am pretty sure I am struggling with fungal acne that mainly presents itself on my left lower cheek/jaw area. My routine is full of cerave atm and I am trying to change it. What do you suggest for someone who also has dry skin? I’ve been using oils to seal my moisturizer in because of how dry my skin can get but my research says that’s a big no 😭 please help as I really love to apply oils (I’ve been trying to use lighter oils)
Most oils are a big no- but there is Squlane Oil which you can use. The Ordinary's is by far the cheapest- you can grab it here: rstyle.me/+_ktE3tSIS82HisgUhCjAtw I personally use The Biossance Squalane Oil- you can grab it, here: rstyle.me/+zeNbkGn2cQUiPeLDXLPd5Q I also use this Biossance one that is infused with Vitamin C, which you can grab here- and they're currently running a 20% email promo rstyle.me/+v1l5xQmxe2N3vA9KReunHA . . I have drier skin these days- these are still the routines I follow on a daily basis. I have normal oily skin & senstive skin & fungal acne too which one of the gariner moisturizer is for my skin type that you suggested in one of your videos?
Hi, can you please write me your opinion on Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant? I can't afford the 8% aha gel exfoliant from their brand (I live in Europe). What are some good chemical exfoliators for fungal acne?
I have fungal acne so can I use the CeraVe rough & bumpy skin lotion in the morning then use the CeraVe rough & bumpy skin cream at night? Or s that too much salylic acid. I have normal oily skin.
With the gariner vitaim c micellar water it say you don't have to rinse but Dr dray say to rinse when using a micellar water to get the residue off the face. Is this true?

There's a lot of fragrance In most of those products wouldn't recommend it for sensitive or fungal acne
Is the CeraVe hydrating cream to foam cleanser fungal acne safe? Saw a video on UA-cam lady said that there are several triggers for fungal acne.
