- I went shopping at my local drugstores to see what products I could buy that were fungal acne safe. I went into the stores not knowing exactly what I would find, but I was able to successfully piece together an entire fungal acne safe skin care routine at both Walgreens and CVS.
That includes a 4 product system - cleanser, active ingredient/treatment, moisturizer, and sunscreen! I love using the la roche posay toleriane purifying foaming cleanser it doesn't dry out my face my skin likes it. Been using it for a week now. I have used the vanicream cleanser & I love using it when my skin gets irritated I like the vnicream. Hi can you tell me if ‘simple hydrating cleansing oil’ is going to be okay for everyday oil cleansing for someone with fungal acne, following up with a second water based cleanser
Bought the stridex pads how many times a week should I use them? I was using the CeraVe sa renewing cleanser 3 times a week to exfoilate with. I have normal oily skin& fungal acne too. I was using the stridex pads today they made my face turn red & it stung like it was burning what should I do stop using them?
Is all maybalene safe? What about fit foundation?? Liquid and powder?

I watched one of Dr drays skincare videos she said women in there 40's should'nt be using foaming cleansers because it strips our skin is that true? I have normal oily skin.
That is a claim made by the dermatology industry at large, and I've heard it many times. If your skin is very dry & you're worried about it, then you can of course avoid foaming cleaners. But most cleansers work into some sort of a lather - that's how they trap dirt & excess oil & remove it from the skin. The Vanicream Gentle Cleanser doesn't foam much & is very gentle - have you tried it? I always want to encourage others to find what works best for them, so if you use a foaming cleanser & it's too drying, don't hesitate to quit using it. If you use a foaming cleanser & it's not drying you out too much, keep using it! Almost every facial cleanser has some sort of a lather, but even so - not all are classified as foaming!
Is Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser FA safe? It isn't according to Simple Skincare Science.. I'm confused!
It is fungal acne safe! I’ve seen on many websites that it is fungal acne safe, but there is some alcohol in it.
The La Rosh Pose cleanser and Cerave moisturizing cream are NOT fungal acne safe. I found out the hard way after using it for a week... Thought maybe I was just sensitive to it and went to folliculitisscout and they have them both listed with ingredients that are NOT FAS!
What cleanser do you use? Even the cerave sa cleanser is not FA safe! 😭
@@missm472 if u are based in europe, most avene cleansers are fa safe, idk if the formula is different kn other countries though (I live in germany and I use their cleansing milk in the light blue bottle - it's labeled for sensitive skin, but works well for oily acne prone skin aswell, if you have very active acne I recommend the cleanser for oily acne prone skin with salycilic acid (blue sea through bottle with bluish cleanser inside). They have a cleasning foam that is also fa safe, haven't tried that one yet but maybe I will after I used up the one I have now😊
Also: check incredients at sezia.co, u can copy entire incredient lists there and the site tells u if the product is save to use or not
