Hey! I recently realised something and I just wanted to share it with you! Just a reminder to anyone who is watching! I think this video is very nice and helpful, but you have to remember that not everything in your life has to be in lists in order to be organised and productive and happy! I don't have that perfectly clean room, I have 1-2 drawers that are VERY messy. I sometimes forget to plan my outfits the day before. My night routine isn't written on a list. I don't spend hours on my bullet journal doodling in order to make it look aesthetic. If you enjoy doing that then awesome! I am just speaking for the people that feel bad for not having the perfectly organised and aesthetic bullet journal. It's is ok if you have a lazy day. It's important to understand what exactly went wrong and try to figure out a new way in order to fix the problem. I strongly advise you to be organised and make to do lists so your mind doesn't have to keep thinking about the tasks over and over, but its ok if that list is written messily on a crumpled piece of paper. I love these videos because they MOTIVATE me to be organised and give me some TIPS and IDEAS, but they ARE NOT REALITY. You have to FIND THE MIDDLE GROUND AND FIND THE METHODS OF ORGANISATION THAT WORK FOR YOU! Being organised can definitely help you not feel all over the place and help you stay focused to your goals, but there is more to life! Have a decently organised routine and move on! Have some fun!

Alice McGowan To me it's not strange at all. I explained why she was called like that in my comment but well.. The person called the girl like that because of her style. it's fashion, you don't call people like that, because they're old, but because of their fashion. if your grandma is not dressing in vintage style, but normal, modern clothes or other, she is not vintage. Remember that this is a video to take inspiration from, not to hold as sacred. That goes with any video, really. This aesthetic is absolutely lovely and I think Ruby is really cool, but there are just some tips in this video that do not agree with my lifestyle and do not fit in with my priorities (i.e. fashion is a passion of mine and I cannot fathom having just five go to outfits- but I'm glad it works for her!). That is normal. Take inspiration, and be you :)
I'm going to a new school this year, I'm super excited. since last year I'm really motivated and started getting my life together. I hope I'll be able to keep it up this year and this video is VERY helpful ❤
Thanks Ruby, I have been watching your channel for a while now, you really are a source of inspiration, however old we are! I am 25 and in the middle of thesis writing, not listening to the teachers anymore but giving classes, and still, the feeling of back-to-school is back again! I was getting very demotivated recently but you summed it perfectly to me and revived the extant feeling ;) Hope you will enjoy the new academic year!

My plans for what I'm going to do before school starts: 1. Get a haircut (I really need one) 2. Go through all of my school notes from last year. 3. Supply/clothes shopping 4. Spend at least one afternoon outside just chilling and thinking 5. Try to find where I left my social skills. I lost them somewhere and I haven't been able to find them since the start of 2021. If you've stolen them, can I please have them back?
This was such a beautifully made video and also extremely helpful for someone like me who is starting university this year and a bit daunted by the hustle and bustle of university life. Very excited to see the academic videos back in September!!

I've been out of university for a few years now but I still watched the whole video because of how relaxing and motivating it was! I really appreciate that, while all of your organisation is very satisfying to watch, you don't overly curate everything in your video to the point that it feels unattainable. You cleaning and reusing last year's schoolbag and pencil case is really cute, and it's good to get motivation that doesn't require spending tons of money. Good luck for this new schoolyear!
i really like the printing photos thing. I often keep a picture of my favorite k-idols in my school pencil case, folders, etc. makes you smile when its hard
You have been really helping and motivating me throughout the past months! I've found myself to love self-studying and it has been extremely helpful for recitation and tests. I love all of your videos!
This year it´s a semester of work (as an archaeologist) and writing in front of me - no studying anymore ... This video actually helped to appreciate the coming of a new season. I wrote a list of things to do that is different but works for my situation and now I am beyond hyped :D
I just realized today that I have two weeks from tomorrow until I move onto campus for the first time and I lot to do until then. This was perfect timing.

Fazer backup das anotações importantes é essencial! Meu computador já pifou algumas vezes no meio do ano letivo e eu estaria ferrada sem ter acesso ao backup.
I am finally going back to school since more then a year and a half. I did have online school but I hated it! I can't believe that I am going to sit in a classroom 5 days a week again. I missed my friends so much and can't wait!
By Sep 1 I will have finally finished my masters and be going into school as a qualified teacher! It'll be the first time in almost 20 years that I haven't been in education as a student, and it feels so strange and almost overwhelming, though I'll have literally no studying to do. There's... no point to this comment other than explaining I'm feeling a bit strange. If you are in education now, don't waste it, you'll look back fondly on those times where you had so much freedom and the beautiful excitement of learning each day. And have fun!
I’m trying to prepare myself for the new school year in the duration of two weeks but I’m also moving houses right now. And have been struggling with organising my academics so watching this video really helped! Thank you :)
I'm not going back to school since I am still in school. My holidays are in November till December but I've been in lovkdown since May and school don't seems like it will be reopening any tume soon considering Malaysia's covid cases (20000+) these days. I still enjoy these videos very much tho! Thank you Ruby! Love you!
It is such a great idea to make a list for outfits that will save you time. I always have a problem what to wear because I always forget what clothes go well together so it is just an amazing solution for me. I will for sure do a makeover day to find all possible outfits 😊 Thank you so much for the video ❤ So many useful ideas!
I also find it useful to create a digital album in my photos app of all the pictures of the outfits. That’s why I do not need to have the most separated because sometimes one piece of clothing can be mixed in matching many outfits. This way also, I can easily scroll through all of the pictures and figure out what I want to wear. And also can be great at the beginning of the week when I am deciding what I want to wear if I decide to prepare my outfits ahead of time.
I just want to point out to anyone worried that, while I adore these videos and watch them religiously as a 28 year old who wants desperately to be more organised in my life, I still got through 4 years of uni (science degree) doing the opposite of all this. Drinking, partying, leaving my work until the last minute, doing no extra reading and I still got a first, everyone is different and just because you don’t necessarily do all these things doesn’t mean you can’t do well! Just thought I’d share x
I've still got 4 weeks of summer holidays - that's two thirds of my summer break. Somehow I do want to start learning and studying new things again, but I also want to just not think about school for a bit, because I know I'll stress myself enough later
imagine being THIS organized... she really has Hermione's last name

Ruby just gives off 1870's study girl vibes and I'm living for it
I genuinely can’t wait for back to school this year. I feel so prepared!
My plans for what I'm going to do before school starts:
1. Get a haircut (I really need one)
2. Go through all of my school notes from last year.
3. Supply/clothes shopping
4. Spend at least one afternoon outside just chilling and thinking
5. Try to find where I left my social skills. I lost them somewhere and I haven't been able to find them since the start of 2021. If you've stolen them, can I please have them back?
“When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.” - did you know?
This was such a beautifully made video and also extremely helpful for someone like me who is starting university this year and a bit daunted by the hustle and bustle of university life. Very excited to see the academic videos back in September!!
i’m starting this year too. good luck!
@@roch6940 you too!
Are you a directioner??
I was already excited for back to school, but this just makes me way more motivated😊
as soon as i saw this video title i literally beamed with joy cos i literally just got my back to school stationery
thanks ruby can't wait to watch this u give the best tips we stan an organisation queen
Good luck for this new schoolyear!
you’re academic advice always gets me excited about starting a new semester !! thanks Ruby !!!♥️
I am so grateful to live in a world where Ruby Granger exists. :)
i really like the printing photos thing. I often keep a picture of my favorite k-idols in my school pencil case, folders, etc. makes you smile when its hard
You have been really helping and motivating me throughout the past months! I've found myself to love self-studying and it has been extremely helpful for recitation and tests. I love all of your videos!
It’s the year 2023 and I’m still gonna use these tips to guide myself
This year it´s a semester of work (as an archaeologist) and writing in front of me - no studying anymore ... This video actually helped to appreciate the coming of a new season. I wrote a list of things to do that is different but works for my situation and now I am beyond hyped :D
Can We Just Appreciate How Much Time She Spent To Help Us Out Before school!
I just realized today that I have two weeks from tomorrow until I move onto campus for the first time and I lot to do until then. This was perfect timing.
I am a student of English language and literature in Turkey.
I think that the things I listen to will give me a little more comfort and academic strength.
Thanks and love u ♥
I just got accepted into oxford thanks youtube for recommending this
Congrats :))
@@johannakezdi9487 aw thanks so much
You are the only person in the world, (that i know) that is so organized. You're school year will be perfect, if you will work just like that. I think i am getting better whit your videos, thank you so so much for being there for all of us! You're amazing!!!!!
Just in time!! My school might start from next month and God knows I'm not ready for all the socialising 🤧🤧 Thanks for the tips, Ruby! You're an angel🥺💕
i love this girl's videos, like they r exactly what i need
i’m so excited for your back to skl series! i’m starting a levels this year so i’ll definitely be using your guidance Ruby 💕
Oh my god, I was literally thinking today "what do I need to make sure I've done before I go back to university?" And lo and behold this video pops up?!! Thank you so much 😩
Ruby: "it already feels like autumn is creeping in"
Me stuck in Belgium where the summer never even began and it's just been autumn for the last 2 months: 👁👄👁
Wait I literally just said this to myself, and I'm in Belgium too, coincidence? I think not
lol, same xd
Same. Here in Germany we had one hot week and that was it. At Monday of the next week it started raining like crazy and the temperature only dropped further.
The rain ironically started at the 21th of June.
The day marked as the beginning of summer in most calendars.
I'm a new subscriber! Now I can clearly say that Granger is really a name for studious and smart people : )
ive been to university for 2 years ans after failling both of them i am changing my major to english which im excited about but also veryyyy stressed so this video helps a lot thank you!!
I love her voice, it's so quiet and soothing.
this made me cry. it's weird but i can't stop crying
“You cannot be protected from the things that frighten you and hurt you, but if you identify with part of your being that is responsible for transformation, then you are always equal or more than equal of the things that frighten you”
Keep you head up 💜
Fazer backup das anotações importantes é essencial!
I missed my friends so much and can't wait!
this was so helpful ruby, thanks so much for your uplifting videos! sending lots of love for the new school year to everyone! ❤️
this may be unrelated but your voice is so comforting.
Great timing, just bout to start my school
Her fav movue is Gilmore girls for sure and season is autumn she gives off this vibes

DEH and all sorts of showtunes on the motivation playlist... that's so me!!
Congrats that’s an amazing 🤩 I hope you enjoy 😊
I swear I was reading this exact article at 0:23 for my bachelor thesis last week!!
Let's face it, she's that one organized friend that literally solves all your problems before you can 😂
I’m trying to prepare myself for the new school year in the duration of two weeks but I’m also moving houses right now.
Love you!
whenever i feel sad, i always come to ruby's comment section because all of the comments are so wholesome! and of course there is ruby! 🌼
Me: **wants to have a productive healthy school year this year**
My baby sister who I have to babysit all the time: “Heh, that’s funny.”
Her voice is so relaxing!!!
I have a feeling that your videos are going to help me so much going into year 11 😭
It is such a great idea to make a list for outfits that will save you time.
That can help hopefully?
It's so weird to already hear about back to school. My holidays only started at the beginning of August.
Ok... But if I am stressed I can just watch your videos. They are so relaxing and make me more motivated to go back to school and study! 🥰🥰🥰
Just thought I’d share x
that's my todolist for the holidays now. This reminds me how I could be a much better student. Thank you a lot
I've still got 4 weeks of summer holidays - that's two thirds of my summer break. Somehow I do want to start learning and studying new things again, but I also want to just not think about school for a bit, because I know I'll stress myself enough later
She's undoubtedly
THE ORGANIZING QUEEN
👑👑
Rewatching this in 2024 👇🏽

Your voice is so heart warming 🥺❤️
I loved this so much 🥺🥺 this is so motivating and cosy, makes me excited for Autumn 💛💛
Great video! My tip is most bags can be washed in the machine on a 30 degree cycle, good to do every so often as they get so grubby :D
Ruby: read a book
Me:*takes a look at my manga collections* I sure will
I like that this video is actually helpful, it gives many tips to choose from and it's not some influencer bs just to be relatable
i love her tone of voice 🥰
Where did you buy that pencil case? I've been looking for something similar for years :D
I will at my final year in grad school next month..how time flies, need pull the motivation and consistent in asap
Hey Ruby can you put a new discord link in the description? It's expired!
You're Hermione's long-lost sister. The accent, the love for school, LAST NAME??, AND hair color. no one can convince me otherwise.
