I made this when I found out I was going to have a baby. I was having a girl so I made it pink. When she was born I gave it to her. It was her crib liner and then she would not sleep without it. I told her to say blankie and she said Benny so that has been its name for 12 and a half years and she still sleeps with it. She loves it thank you
I was told by the ladies at the fabric shop NOTto use the fleece with the bumpa for a tie blaket . She said use the flat fĺeece only. I believe ahe said the bumpy kind unravels if you cut through the bumps..
+Marcia Castro My son has been using his blankie for almost 2yrs now and no problem...no unraveling. thank you for letting us know that it could unravel when cut :)
Yes one has bimps, huh? Pink Panther? I have no clue either? I would have said fleece is fleece, the impressions to make bumps doesn't make any difference. Fabric stores want you on especially their sewing machines! You use batting, more expensive thread, then one thread & sometimes colors? You will likely use more fabric if your tensions wrong or stitch length, all not right can bunch up & put holes in fabric not to mention the batting? This is why, a sewing and fab store says that You can also multi task blankets by leaving longer opening, sz blankets? But can do this smaller one and use velcro or snaps in the place of stitching closed? Travel, clean small things off babies floors or stuffed animals stored over night? Put them in blanket short term reattach velcro! Pillow case's best, then case's don't come off pillows! I have many more
thank you!! we are doing great. im gonna be filming my labor delivery vlog this week and a one month update for Connor...I cant believe he is 1month already :( and I may film a postpartum update too!!
I don't see fringes around the entire blanket so aren't the sides open or were both sealed with press and peel? Someone, if you could explain nicely I need to have blankets for my niece who is two weeks old. This would save a lot of time, possibly money to? I've watched video twice and don't see it, I guess? And I make quilts?, Take care friend
Loved how you did the blanket..I would love one in purple just for myself.
get the material and i will make it for you.

Cute! I wanted to make one for my future niece or nephew.
I didn't think that this was going to be good at first but it's very good did you tie all 4 corners of the blanket
Cynthia White Thank you and yep all four corners of the blanket are tied off :)
Hi, this is great for babies - the wonky edges are the fabric's selvedge :)
Natasha Lindner :D thanks for watching!
cute blanket , congratulations on the baby too !
thank you :D
Thanks 4 cutting my time in half ..... MUCH LOVE !!!
Hi, do you know if I can use flannel instead of fleece or can I use one side fleece and one side flannel? Thank you
i dont see why you cant use any fabric you choose :)
That's very nice. i like the colours you've chosen - very classy.
+Mackenzie Flynn thank you :D

It's called Cuddle Cloth... it is made differently than Fleece.
If you only tied it once, did it come apart in the washer?
it would have come apart but i went back and double tied the fringes. :)
My daughter has had hers for almost 3 years. It's been washed numerous times and it still looks awesome 😊
what do you with the side you cut the 3inches off of?. do you cut all corners of the blanket
yes ...do all 4 corners like this and it makes your fringe area.
i got 1/2 yards of fabric each.. will it still work?
it will be a really small blanket
i love this!!! now i just need to get to a fabric store!!
thank you :)
I love that “minky kind of” fabric.
Very nice blanket. Very nice
thank you

Cczop
Did you cut all four coners?
Rosy Esquivel yep :)
My little cousion wanted a baby blanket for her dolls and I can't sew yet so this was helpful thank you
awesome so glad you enjoyed the video :D

+White Rabbit I fringed all sides of the blanket...I didn't show all sides in video but all four sides are double knot fringed :D
happilyeverafter99 Thank you
+White Rabbit your welcome!
It's beautiful and I love it but why did you cut a piece of the side off you really didn't explain it all?
thank you and sorry....you cut the corners like that so all the fringe will lay right and be even square/rectangle blanket.
Thanks so much! Nice blankey! lol
craftymom7 your welcome and thank you!!
Thank you for showing me how to do it.
your so very welcome!!
What does it mean to keep y’all ur blanket voted?
V Martin "keep your blanket folded". idk if you are using the subtitles or being rude because she has a bit of an accident.
Why did you cut the square ?
its for the fringe line.
I'm confused on how you folded it
just fold it in half. like if you were making a greeting card from a piece of paper.
This was very helpful to try and make my first one, but he is not a baby anymore:)
+Roberta Green thank you. Im glad it was helpful!! I plan on making my son a larger one for Christmas he is almost 2!! :)
What would happen if the child grabbed it in the middle and seperated the 2 blankets? Seems like it could get really wonkey
my son does that all the time and it never messes up :)
Doing this for charity, hopefully it’ll get put to good use
awesome!
Pro tip: make the fringe longer and fatter so much easier than doing super short fringe.
Great tip!
you did a good job.
thank you
Really WONKY edges They are called the selvage edges, they are where the material is hooked to the loom.....
ive made this before you did
a video on it lol
i like it is so beutiful thanks
thank you
Kinda big for a baby I think....
It's called the selvage.
thanks
I didn't
its called selvage edge 😂
SWEEET!
thanks
Cool.
Rebecca Spratling thank you
You need actual fabric scissors.
Folded, not foddid lol
Hi I'm about to die
You dead?
Do you have to double fold it like that?
you dont but makes a much thicker warmer blanket :)
