    I made this when I found out I was going to have a baby. I was having a girl so I made it pink. When she was born I gave it to her. It was her crib liner and then she would not sleep without it. I told her to say blankie and she said Benny so that has been its name for 12 and a half years and she still sleeps with it. She loves it thank you

    Hi, this is great for babies - the wonky edges are the fabric's selvedge :)

    Hi, do you know if I can use flannel instead of fleece or can I use one side fleece and one side flannel? Thank you

    I was told by the ladies at the fabric shop NOTto use the fleece with the bumpa for a tie blaket . She said use the flat fĺeece only. I believe ahe said the bumpy kind unravels if you cut through the bumps..

      +Marcia Castro My son has been using his blankie for almost 2yrs now and no problem...no unraveling. thank you for letting us know that it could unravel when cut :)

      Yes one has bimps, huh? Pink Panther? I have no clue either? I would have said fleece is fleece, the impressions to make bumps doesn't make any difference. Fabric stores want you on especially their sewing machines! You use batting, more expensive thread, then one thread & sometimes colors? You will likely use more fabric if your tensions wrong or stitch length, all not right can bunch up & put holes in fabric not to mention the batting? This is why, a sewing and fab store says that
      You can also multi task blankets by leaving longer opening, sz blankets? But can do this smaller one and use velcro or snaps in the place of stitching closed? Travel, clean small things off babies floors or stuffed animals stored over night? Put them in blanket short term reattach velcro! Pillow case's best, then case's don't come off pillows! I have many more

      It's called Cuddle Cloth... it is made differently than Fleece.

    If you only tied it once, did it come apart in the washer?

    • @happilyeverafter99
      @happilyeverafter99  8 років тому +2

      it would have come apart but i went back and double tied the fringes. :)

    what do you with the side you cut the 3inches off of?. do you cut all corners of the blanket

    • @happilyeverafter99
      @happilyeverafter99  8 років тому +2

      yes ...do all 4 corners like this and it makes your fringe area.

    I don't see fringes around the entire blanket so aren't the sides open or were both sealed with press and peel? Someone, if you could explain nicely I need to have blankets for my niece who is two weeks old. This would save a lot of time, possibly money to? I've watched video twice and don't see it, I guess? And I make quilts?,
    Take care friend

    Pro tip: make the fringe longer and fatter so much easier than doing super short fringe.
