One of my favourite things to do with a video is answer a question that a particular fandom has asked for a long period of time, so this is my latest attempt at answering one such question: What Earth-native animal would be the HUMAN Nemetrix predator?

it wouldve been so funny if ben turned back into human and zed just transformed into a fucking bear
Tigers, 100% just tigers. But if you want to go for the bear angle, polar bears are considered some of the only animals to actively hunt down humans on sight.
I agree, that polar bears are superior to grizzleys. But why Tigers?
@@yazanqubaja7464I’m going off my loose knowledge of the coliseum. Tigers would literally beat every other predator they faced until being gored by a rhino
Tigers are a good one, without a doubt
But we also used to hunt them for sport before we got guns, in special, indians used to hunt tigers with poison dagers
They are definetly a really big threat to us but are easier to manage if you know what you're doing
Also, tigers won't attack as long as you are looking at them. If they belive they lost the element of surprise they will give up on their prey or wait until you look away so that would be a problem for the nemetrix as ben culd just stare at the tiger it he would be fine
@@planetdrull1701
But like? Aren't the tigers caught, starved and to fight for support as many Armored Men with very sharp Metal Spears and Shields come in to back it up between rounds. And to guide in place.
Yeah. The tiger is the hunter. Ignoring that tigers don't actively hunt humans.
Including bear, lions, all the animals listed in this video. Polar Bears are one thing here. But like. All of these animals actually tend to avoid humans because of
We are loud
There are many of us
And ranged attacks.
Lastly. We are poisonous. (Especially relevant to this day.)
And while all of these animals have taken children when desperate. They tend to actually avoid doing so unless they could actually get away with it. Most absolutely cannot. But yes.... You choose tigers because of... The Roman Colosseum. Where they captured animals. Starved them, and then made them fight. I would bring out the Iron E. But the logic is out there. I would only miss the shot.
@@NCemloen You understand my point of bringing up the coliseum right? It’s an actual historical precedent for how well different predators compared to each other in a fight. If your problem with it is the abuse that’s fair, but that doesn’t change the results. Tigers won against any predator from Europe and Africa. That clears off a lot of potential answers
I just love the idea of the scene where kyber has all the nemitrix species there just a bear sitting there. (Also a grizzly beating the crap out of an alien like four arms is funny to me)
I would LOVE to see that in an actual episode!
The image of you shaggy and Almight is such a funny image and I can't describe why
It's very cursed lol
Dolphins, no explanation needed
In Ben 10, dolphins are sentient and in the Omnitrix, so they wouldn't count. I'd say Crocodile.
@@flufflepuff2674Those go down easily, and there are multiple types of dolphins, so there could be a non sentient one.
Dolphins are only a threat in the water, so that limits their effectiveness as a Nemetrix predator IMO
@@KirigiriKirinWhat if I put roller skates on its tail and give it a knife?
If you want a water predator Sharks of Orcas are way more effective
6:39 I was thinking ambush predator would be the best choice since most of our tools require prep time.
I was gonna say Jaguar before watching this video since they are powerful, stealthy, can climb & swim but I totally agree with Grizzly Bears are way better of a predator for Humans. Also considering most humans might not have a gun all the time it's even worse. It was a fun video + you also changed the Editing style too
Yep yep!
@@KirigiriKirin Yep 💯
I think Khyber would collect multiple earth species like the entire panthera genus, chimps, gorillas, bears, large crocodilians, water/ocean dwelling species, multiple raptors, and probably some smaller predators like cats who are responsible for most extinct species.
Thanks for this information, now the defense minister will absolutely love my new genetically and cybernetically enhanced grizzly bears.
LMFAO
*Polar
Grizzly is a good choice, 2 notes, 1 Kodiaks are a larger more powerful subspecies, that you might consider, also polar bears outside of being bright white and risk of overheating when too active in warm climates, are generally considered to outpace grizzly's in size, strength, etc. but good video, and to be honest bears having their original names lost to time out of fear was likely an indication of where this was going.
My first thought was a mosquito, due to the statistics I’ve seen, but imagining that as a Nemetrix transformation is pretty funny. Better hope the Nemetrix has the same “auto-transform to save the user” function that the Omnitrix has.
Here's hoping yea lol
Can confirm the bingeability of these!
Hehe, I am honoured by such high praise!
Ben's mom would make more sense than anything else. You never underestimate the power of motherhood.
I think it’d be ironic if our predator species were humans.
Seems quite likely tbh
Weirdly enough, in the past I've watch someone at NatGeo Wild that tries to make a "super cat" which is a feline that has every good trait from every known feline. In conclusion however, he said that if this cat was a reality, we as humans would be their prey. Now I learned that, while this super cat is just a theoretical thing, bears are way more dangerous. (Until we find some Russian bear taming techniques that is.)
Good stuff and dammit I wasn't prepared for EDP.
Nobody is prepared for EDP
I think what you talked about here is what they mean by "natural predator" of whatever alien. So the crabdozer may not actively hunt pyronites on their home world but has the capability to hunt them
Jaguar literally translates “he who kills with 1 leap”.
And they can bite through skulls.
Jaguars are another good contender!
We have more tolerance towards a grizzly in an urban area than a jaguar, with one you try first to send them off with the other we likely just off him
It's a good one but we used to hunt them for sport before we got guns
That is, using only spears and knifes(probably with poison)
So they aren't that big of a problem if the human at least knows what he is doing
Also, they are kinda scared of humans
@@Matheus-vh4ntno jaguars were regarded as sacred by many indigenous American tribes/mezoamerican tribes doubt they'd hunt them for sport, and you're also forgetting about arrows and the jaguars natural camouflage they're stealthy and will kill you with 1 bite.
The best you got is a study published in usa today which reads "the Maya kept animals such as jaguars and dogs in their homes, but whether they were pets, eaten as food or used for sacrifices - or all three, remains unknown" which is inconclusive.
Shaggy's cut off voiceline is beautiful.
Also no yeah, horniness is our greatest downfall l.
Being horny will be the end of humanity, which is ironic because reproduction is how we stay around as a species
I’d argue a polar bear is a way better option because they’re the only creature that actually goes out of its way to hunt humans if it can.
You've got me there!
I haven't gotten that far in, but seeing this list of traits, my best guess would be a tiger
The predator of a human would be the largest living thing in the world, and that would be:

My mom jokes never get old
The monsquito is my first guess
halfway through your list of criteria I was like "you're gonna make me scared of bears aren't you"
Lmao I'm so sorry
Any sane person should already be afraid of bears.
Bears being significantly bigger and stronger than the average person is already common sense.
Most people also already know that they eat meat.
Bears having superior night vision and better running, swimming, and climbing speeds might be the only new knowledge.
Indomitable human spirit says otherwise
Off the top of my head if extinct animals arent off the table, is probably Dinofelis cause its theorized they hunted the astralopithicus.
But then again that family of early humans were pretty child sized, low intelligence and had no weapons, so thats a low bar.
Its kinda hard considering by time of the ice age we became apex predators no animal really bothers to specialize in hunting for food. More likely they just get bodied to kill off competition.
Yeah, I limited it to modern-day living animals, but prehistoric creatures would be great choices too
@@KirigiriKirin I think it would most likely be a big cat of some sort, if were talking modern day, big cats are arguably the top land predators barring canids, reaching from early man to modern day.
And are also frequent maneaters that can easily hunt alone. Though I heard humans count as easy prey but not as nutritious as bigger game, so most maneaters are the injured old or sickly big cats and the lack of meat on us is probably why they serial kill humans.
So if the Nemetrix would only pick one I think itd be a cat, lion or tiger is perfectly well rounded.
Considering the amount of the remains of humans killed by a specific carnivore - the natural predator of humans would be either a big yet sneaky cat (like leopard or jaguar) or a spotted hyena.
I'm calling it now,the polar bear
Edit:close enough
Damn, now I'm imagining Ben fighting a peacock. Specifically Lord Shen
Imagine Zed just turning into a bear and then waving Ben from left to right before he transform
I usually think that the best predator for humans would be some prehistoric animals like cave bear or sabretooth or dinopithecus.
Good point
While this is a logical choice, I’m surprised how underwhelmed I was when you chose the most “bland” animal anyone could think of. It’s not your fault though. I remember the Nemetrix having tiny predators too so I’d add skunks, mosquitoes, snakes etc onto the list.
It would’ve been interesting to see Ben fight against an army of house pets like cats or hamsters as there have been reported instances of pets eating their dead owners…
On a mortality angle, should a swarm of mosquitos, just a tought.
Polar bears are one of the only animals that actively hunt humans given the chance
Not even gonna finish this before I point out you ALREADY said what a humans worst predator is in the opener. It's humanity itself.

Facts about our history - today as the human race
I totally forget that was a Ben 10 video mid way through it😂
There are some predators that have hunted us in prehistory and have eaten us today.
Prehistoric predators:
Smilodons
Large birds of prey (due to the found fossil evidence of the taung child so there’s a possibly there might be a possibility that they did hunt other hominid species including us)
Cave lions
Cave hyenas
Short faced bears (they may have been hunting the Clovis people in their time)
Present day predators:
Tiger sharks
Bull sharks
Polar bears
Komodo dragons (due to having no fear of humans)
Tigers (due to humans being in their territory and can eat us if they wanted)
Hyenas
Lions ( we’re the last option if they cannot hunt their natural prey due to injury)
Brown bears (if they don’t have any food available)
Wild dogs (pack hunting and this does apply to feral domestic dog breeds)
Humans (if we’re stuck in a environment that has no food and we don’t have a choice, or one of the many cannibalistic tribes that has survived to present day, but luckily that’s rare so no “manwich’s” on the menu.)
Anacondas (very rare for them to eat a human but they could be able to eat a smaller individual)
Jaguars
Leopards
Crocodilians
Alligators (though they could if they’re large enough and people continue to feed them making them see us as a source of food)
(Btw I could be wrong about most of these animals but please don’t be rude this is mostly my speculation on the subject and this only applies if the unlucky human being has no way to defend themselves)
Really interesting video! I never realized how scary bears can be
Bears are so much more impressive than we give them credit for
Actually it's a old type of large bird that often hunted humans, there are quite a few nest of them found with caves full of human bones.
Since that Crossover Nexus episode gave Ben a bear transformation, in some way. I'll bring up a headcanon that the omnitrix and nemetrix can possibly share a number of transformations. Perhaps the bear transformation is one of them.
Possibly!
So much animals that can be predators for humans but I definitely thinking big cat like tiger or Jaguar, or bear like grizzly. A water transformation would be sharp like big white shark
Then like a poison or niche transformation like big snake that's deadly. Definitely a flyer like raptor
Humanity has been persistence hunters for centuries, like the African wild dog for ex
Interesting. Hope you're having a good day c: in regards to your poll: I feel like we'd both pick Ship. Just a special little guy who's able to fly without me being at the wheel (which is good tbh, don't have ability to drive)
The more sinical will say its humanity himself their own predator
I dont think the predator needs to be bigger. If it hunts in packs, this would be negated.
Since kyber had acess to extinct DNA to utilize greymatters predator he could do the same with the cave or shortfaced bears making it impossible to survive. Even Prehistoric humans rarely confronted those bears even with spears. Also with the ultimate feature from Albedo's assistance an ultimate cave/short bear would be absolutely horrific. Who knows what they'll evolve into from being in a warzone for 1 million years.
I felt like I was watching wild world documentary
I take that as quite the compliment!
Polar bear is what I thought of first.
Polar bears were a top contender!
For me, I feel like it would be like a leopard the size of a between the size of a tiger and a polar bear, able to run just as fast as a regular leopard, but for longer, with the exoskeleton and face of a spider.
Hot damn, you were not holding back in this video!
I went all out hehe

My first guess for a Nemetrix predator would've been the chimp, considering how sadistic, intelligent and creative they are.
And they can easily rip you apart! (And they'll go for your jewels if they notice you have any).
But a grizzly is a perfect guess! Bears can be horrifying!
For fictional creatures, my guess would have been the Xenomorph from Alien. Just think about it
Xenomorphs are an excellent suggestion too, Yamato!
A human with either a gun, sword, knife, katana, nuke like any weapon
Other humans
I know they're mostly fictional, but Vampires.
Hippos i'd argue would be a better candidate, they are a wall of muscle and would be able to take hits from all sorts of weaponry, they are so heavy that they dont swim but run underwater, you know how strong you would have to be to run underwater? On top of the stamina that it would require.
You ever see hippos casually eat a whole watermelon? Not to mention they could just crush or trample you with their weight.
I'm surprised no one mentioned the Komodo dragon.
Parkour beats everything
The bears on the land...and the sharks underwater? Since the humans have enough techs for going underwater without dying
I believe parasites from parasite the maximum is a good candidate for human predator
Skinwalker and windegos eat us
Anyone notice that at 2:56 Kirin used a snipit of a divide music song?
I'm a big fan of Divide Music!
@@KirigiriKirin Same! My favorite is broken statues
I’m not sure how important fear is as a separate category. I don’t think there are many creatures that don’t meet the fear criteria just by meeting all the others
A part of me feels like if DJW made a predator for us Humans, he'd make a joke out of it and it would be something useless like a pug or turtle.
Like animorphs but all the upsides of the Omnitrix or in this case nemitrix. Like a potential no timer or stuck in the transformation
HONYAN- enjoy your engagement
HONYAN!
I thought about this and considered a Crocodile or Polar Bear
Also good suggestions!
If we’re talking any animal fake or real the Indominus rex would be the best.
Hippos, so many people are killed by hippos and something is our brains wants to hug them. Though if you've ever seen how bears act they're actually very dog like.
Thing is hippoes aren't really predators. They are hyper aggressive and will attack anything dares to breath within a half mile radius of them but they don't actively hunt for food.
Love your videos! Also, would you consider doing this for other fictional species? For instance, what Pokemon would be best suited to take down a Pikachu.
This is an absolutely wonderful suggestion! Sure!
@@KirigiriKirin Great! I will be waiting to see what you come up with.
You forget one section of predator that would hunt humans if they were still around...Dinosaurs as we see the Nemetrix has no problem using DNA of a extinct species to kill a surviving race that would classify in that area, it's just harder for us to see a perfect one since they died before our time or at least close to but if Raptors were used that were pack hunters, Kyber can use the predator of a splixin aka Ditto to duplicate enough to form a pack to hunt humans as he used that to transform into every predator that's in the Nemetrix or at least a versatile selection and thx to Albedo he can make the forms go ultimate making them more powerful than ever before and war ready thus as I said it just be bit tougher to say but my choice is multiple as Khyber has that covered to do that
Oke this sorta makes sense and yeah if kyber knew ben fear he would go for a peacock but yeah this makes sense
As someone who binge watches classicmand I knew what the answer was the second you put down the requirements, I mean trapped in the woods with a bear or a man is a tough choice for a reason
Exactly!
Humanity is its own greatest predator.
Idk, which 1 can function as a house & a pirate ship?
Now, what if the Nemetrix wasn't limited to just extant species? As in, species that are currently not extinct?
Leopard. The answer is like (or i guess it could be tigers to but im looking for something that's been hunting us since Africa,) historicaly they are our biggest predator and they occasionally hunt us for food today!
probably some big ass snake
9:12 What about spearing it?
Edit: referring to multiple people
I can’t say I have a phobia of bears, they don’t inspire a visceral reaction in me on sight. Having said that, I would not want to encounter one in the wild. If I did, I’d probably shit myself.
Assuming you stayed on earth, I think some kind of poisonous snake, ofworld could be some vaxasorian or AOT to’ku star
It would be Human, Human are the biggest threat to other humans.
Your more likely to die from a misequo bite then be killed by a person
So I want to clarify; humans are the best endurance runners to ever exist. Also, large predators are usually predated by parasites, not other predators. Therefore, the main predator of humans would be the mosquito.
Alaskan Sled Dogs, Ostriches, Camels & Pronghorn Antelopes are better endurance runners, actually, but I agree about your Mosquito point!
@@KirigiriKirin Ostriches can only go for about 30 minutes. Alaskan sled dogs can go about 100 miles without stopping, but some human tribes can go 150-300 miles without stopping. Pronghorn can only go for about 20 miles. Camels are the closest at ~216 miles, but the top human endurance is still higher.
Funnily enough we already know our apex predator as every culture came to the conclusion on their own on some point. Say, if mythological beasts could exist(or an aliean analogue out in the space) I'd say Dragons.
Dolphins and lab mice are also species in the Omnitrix. Guessing their predators would probably be cats for the mice and maybe large sharks, or orcas. Although orcas are dolphins so idk which dolphin species would be in the Omnitrix's code.
I don't think orcas are dolphins, they're just closely related as they're both cetaceans. I may be wrong tho
@@KirigiriKirin Orcas are the largest species of dolphin. Orcas are part of the family Delphinidae which is the oceanic dolphins. Pilot whales are also dolphins btw, same goes for false killer whales too.
Possible option that i dont know about it being considered but a moose can easily kill and mangle a human they dont usually eat meat (although they can there aren’t many obligate herbivores especially large ones there is evidence they can) but they can easily kill a human
I’m gonna have to say Dinofelis. Famous predator that specializes on hunting hominid.
Fair!
You’re a bit outdated. More recent paleontological evidence suggests it was a specialist of larger prey.
Leopards are actually the primate killers of cats
Isn't the only species of animals that ACTIVELY hunts humans are Polar Bears?
Also for the Grizzly Bear section, I have seen 1 guy hunt a Grizzly Bear with just a spear. He killed it and cooked it.
Another man. They are scarier than a bear after all
You've got a point there!

Huh, I would have gone with the Jaguar. Which, as far as I am aware, is the only species actually considered a natural predator of humans.
There's a few other contenders, but Jaguar is a good pick!
@KirigiriKirin Other stuff will kill us in desperation or defense or for territorial response. Jaguars will get a little peckish and go into a village, enter a house, kill a kid, drag its body out into the rainforest to eat, and then be on its merry way. It has no fear of things like camp fires because it has figured out that humans make contained fires that aren't going to spread and can be easily avoided.

I would say either Snow Leopards or Polar Bears. Both can survive extreme temperatures for the most part. But I would say Polar Bears as they are the most aggressive bear species and one of the largest.
