I love that book. I'm finishing up my next video & talking about the prequel to Edenbrooke being on my TBR - to complete before the end of the month. Can't wait to read it!
I like how you added clips and photos into the review of Mansfield Park. I'm looking forward to watching the tv adaptations. The book was also my fourth Jane Austen but I think it's actually my favorite so far. That and Emma.
Thanks! I must say that the accuracy of the 1983 is fabulous, almost word-for-word, but the acting is.....um, ... :) I forgot to mention in my video that I would highly suggest anyone that wants to read Mansfield Park to watch the first episode of the 1983 Mansfield Park movie to get a gist of "who is who" and get a good visualization of them before reading the book. It was free for Amazon Prime folks. MP is not super exciting at the beginning and I think that will be helpful for everyone to not get bogged down in the regency vernacular of Austen.
@@OldeAmericanSpirit I have a review that’s going to post later today. But I agree, it was slow to start. But once I got into it, I really enjoyed it. All the characters were difficult to keep track of initially, but again, once I got into it, it smoothed out. I’ve read Persuasion, Northanger Abbey, Emma and Mansfield Park.
@@bethanybringsbooks You are right. I liked it. I've read Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Northanger Abbey, and now, Mansfield. Only two more to go! I'll be watching your video today for sure.
I love the shots of you reading, especially in your garden!
Oh thank you! I have fun reading all over the place - especially among my flower friends!
Unearthing the secret garden looks so cool
Yay. I really liked it!
I can't wait to read Unearthing the Secret Garden. Looks so good.
I really liked it!
Edenbrooke is on my TBR, happy to hear you enjoyed it!

It's fabulous. I'm pretty obsessed with it!

And that's SO interesting that it's your favorite so far. Which other two have you also read so far?

Yeah, Mansfield Park is good but not my favorite Austen.
Edenbrook sounds so good!
Yes! And I'm pretty obsessed with Edenbrooke, and that doesn't happen often! 😊🌻
