Many Brits who had properties in Spain voted for Brexit, and still had the option to apply for resedencia but couldn't because, despite living in Spain they couldn't be bothered to learn Spanish, don't shed any tears for these people who voted for Brexit because of their own bigotry, unfortunately those of us in the UK who voted remain still have to cope with the mess these people created

It wasn't the refusal to learn Spanish, they refused to legalise their status because they didn't want to pay taxes, matriculate their UK plated car, which was declared SORN, had at best a very dodgy MOT. That's why.

However the vast majority don't speak Spanish and refuse to integrate, the Spanish Government should turf them out , especially as a lot of these Brexity Brits are the first ones to complain about someone here not speaking English in the UK ( even if they're actually speaking English correctly with a foreign accent )

The lack of workers is harming productivity in many sectors of the economy, despite wages rising in some areas, giving rise to the abnormal spike in inflation we are seeing as rising costs are passed on to customers. The Euro is not crashing, that is your fantasy. Just look at how Northern Ireland is prospering if you want to see the benefits of staying in the single market and the Customs Union. I'm not here to argue or anything but simply to learn, when the referendum happened I was too young to vote in it, however we did hold a vote at school as a kind of experiment, and around 80 percent of the students voted to remain, in my constituency also, the majority voted to remain. I was mainly concerned about my future ability to live and work in the EU freely, as well as my ability to study as I am a student of Spanish and my girlfriend is German. The UK has pulled out of the Erasmus scheme and replaced it with the Turing scheme, which would make it incredibly difficult for me to do a year abroad without paying a lot of money and going through complicated processes, which would be difficult for me as I come from a low income family. I was also concerned about living with my girlfriend as this would prove difficult after Brexit. I was also concerned about my childhood friends who I grew up around, many from Poland and worried about their status after Brexit, and the healthcare workers as well who come from a wide array of nationalities. Brexit has also had the unforeseen consequence of creating a rift between Scotland and England, and the majority of them vote for the Scottish National Party. Brexit has not made my life better in any way, however it may hinder my prospects in the future. I'm sure people had reasons for voting for Brexit, but please can I have some from you?

Some British people in Spain have sought to officially become Spanish citizens. Fair enough - at least they truly love Spain and are serious about their commitment in living there. Also, that way they are entitled to health care. I have never liked those British people who want to live in Spain but can’t or won’t integrate with Spanish people.
