I'm sitting here enjoying a Friday night binging on the videos made by all you guys of your trip. So far all have been a little different even though you are all showing the same beautiful countryside. I have always wanted to do canoe camping but never managed to do so. Thankfully two of our daughters managed to canoe the Murray River and camp and absolutely loved it. I'll just have to live through you guys and your adventures.
Hi there Jenny, oh you gotta try it, if your fit and able just go for it, hire one to try out first. Canoe camping is a chance at camping in the most remote places of our country/countries. Well done to you al and we both love Fort Augustus, where fish n chips is always a treat. Good idea to give the mist a miss and man, that rainbow was superb - what a shot and what a fall whoooo indeed! 16 miles on the first day was good going mind and sounds like it was typical Scottish weather. Water, alter all around but no drinking enough, that's what I do too and always end up with a headache but sometimes when you are enjoying yourself you forget the simple things . @@AntSurviveTheNight Thank you for replying, I had tears in my eyes to know you read my post. It is awful what Alzheimer's does to a person but it's the loved ones that suffer the most. My Mam lived with me for 14months before I had to give up and ask for help, she is now in a home as I couldn't work and look after her, but I feel like I have abandoned her. On a lighter note, I love your channel and some of the other guy's channels, it lightens my day after work to watch you all out in the woods. Keep doing what you do, make every moment precious. xx
Hi Mel, you didn’t abandon her, I know it’s no good how many people say that because I’m the same, I feel I’m failing my family and can’t seem to feel I ever do enough to help, I feel guilty enjoying my time. Nothing anybody says will make me feel better. Just know that other people, lots of people share your pain and are with you and I’m sure your with them too. If you ever need anyone to talk to just message 👍

In highlighting this awful disease to people on UA-cam, you are doing your bit to help educate and work towards a cure one day. My mother would want me to be happy and I’m sure your family wouldn’t want you to be miserable all the time either. Just got back from 4 days in Scotland and got to watch this video absolutely brilliant video ant.we tried to find your camping spot on loch Ken but it was under about 2 foot of water according to a local farmer the loch has risen in the last couple of weeks so we missed out on that one we were trying to follow in the footsteps of the greats….

Well done to you al and we both love Fort Augustus, where fish n chips is always a treat. Good idea to give the mist a miss and man, that rainbow was superb - what a shot and what a fall whoooo indeed! 16 miles on the first day was good going mind and sounds like it was typical Scottish weather. Water, alter all around but no drinking enough, that's what I do too and always end up with a headache but sometimes when you are enjoying yourself you forget the simple things . @@AntSurviveTheNight Thank you for replying, I had tears in my eyes to know you read my post. It is awful what Alzheimer's does to a person but it's the loved ones that suffer the most. My Mam lived with me for 14months before I had to give up and ask for help, she is now in a home as I couldn't work and look after her, but I feel like I have abandoned her. On a lighter note, I love your channel and some of the other guy's channels, it lightens my day after work to watch you all out in the woods. Keep doing what you do, make every moment precious. xx
Hi Mel, you didn’t abandon her, I know it’s no good how many people say that because I’m the same, I feel I’m failing my family and can’t seem to feel I ever do enough to help, I feel guilty enjoying my time. Nothing anybody says will make me feel better.
Just know that other people, lots of people share your pain and are with you and I’m sure your with them too.

In highlighting this awful disease to people on UA-cam, you are doing your bit to help educate and work towards a cure one day. My mother would want me to be happy and I’m sure your family wouldn’t want you to be miserable all the time either. The same goes for you too, if you need someone to talk to, as strangers we can be more honest with our feelings with no come back. Take care of yourself xx

Just got back from 4 days in Scotland and got to watch this video absolutely brilliant video ant.we tried to find your camping spot on loch Ken but it was under about 2 foot of water according to a local farmer the loch has risen in the last couple of weeks so we missed out on that one we were trying to follow in the footsteps of the greats….
