Have you used every single corner of your house for backdrops? Joking aside, thanks for relating your experiences! As a former DevOps I have been looking into data analytics as a full time role, that part was a lot of fun!
I’ve been inspired to get my masters in HCDA. Ive been an RN for 20 years. Had to resign due to my heart issues. I started the masters program at a college in Virginia. Wrote papers. Did the assignments per the syllabus etc....Had a question about an assignment and long story short I NEVER RECEIVED HELP from my instructor!!! So after numerous attempts of reaching out with NO HELP I dropped. Very sad and depressed about this. I’m now looking at a different university. Any advice on where I could get this education or training so that I can work would be appreciated. I’m not necessarily interested in a masters degree but any training so I can work. I have a BS in nursing. Thanks for putting out these videos. It’s keeping my head in the game to keep trying!!
You also need Math/statistical skills not a lot though unless you want to go deeper like becoming a data scientist then you will need to master that part. You also need communication and problem solving skills in order to work as a data analyst. Hope this helps.
I just looked into a boot camp in data analytics at the university of north Carolina Charlotte and they wanted almost as much as a masters in data analytics, plus you don't get any college credit. They sold it as a way to add to your skills to advance in your current job. When I mentioned it didn't seem worth it, their selling point was that the boot camp didn't go into much theory, it was all hands on learning in long classes 3 times a week. And they were all online classes. What are your thoughts? I would think it would be better to get an actual degree since you're spending about the same amount. They didn't cover anything about the cost like you just did here.
Hey!!! Please read carefully I'm 16 and I wanna know how switching your shift works say if you can work in the mornings from 6am-2pm. And after a week or two passes can you switch your shift to pm where you work from like 4pm-10pm. My situation is that my mother works from 3pm-2am and so that prohibits me from working in the after noons and I can't work in the morning because of online school and real school my eventually start up again. So if bite the dust and work a.m and if real school opens a week from when i got hired could i switch my schedule to p.m or do i gotta wait like a extra month or weeks to be able to switch my schedule. (I wanted to work the mornings long enough to pay for a bus or uber fair so i can pay for my way home when i go to p.m only because if i work in the mornings i have a ride to and from work but i miss online school. but at noon i "might" only have a ride to work. And to get home I won't have a ride. But i can do online school.) [I can do my online work but would miss the virtual classes which i don't mind.] How does a schedule change work and what's the soonest i could place one???
Your video offered a TON of value. Thank you 🥰

Is learning R, rstudio and Tableau enough to become a data analyst?
