6:39 camber should be 0% for maximum traction on flat surfaces
RWD Drag cars have huge rear wheels and soft rear suspension all this to improve the grip off the line using the weight of the car to provide traction to the rear wheels.
FWD drag cars have stiff suspensions because you don't want all the weight to be transfered to the non powered wheels.
Awd drag cars tend to have not too stiff suspensions to get more traction the rear wheels while allowing the front wheels to traction aswell, they usually have more torque being transmited to the rears.
would this be reversed if the car was mid engine instead of front engine?
real drag cars have very soft read suspensions to accommodate the torque at launch. Might want to try that as well

I think the gears should have a difference on overtourque. Try to add 1-2 more gears for the awd varient and change the gear ratios to hit max speed when you hit the end of the run.
AWD is most performant when the power split is the same as the weight distribution.
Fun fact, the color that the car had that was called "tapa culo" if you translate it literally to Spanish it says "ass cover" 🤣

With the meo drag pack and the meo lsx I have regular beam cars running 5.80s. use the drag 4 speed with variable stall, mess with the stiffness and coupling ratio. and go 400+ mph.
I just started watching your channel for the drag stuff, so it would be cool to see some more.
Lugging all that weight around must be a drag.

I probably could've pulled better running times on the Methivan with some more dev time and literally any other body. The body had one of the highest drag coefficients of any I had seen.

0 out camber or maybe even add a degree of positive on the rear to set tires flat on launch and run soften drag tires for awd try a civic distribution front bias front wheels should be 0 camber that should help alot
i was inspired to make my own with automation and beam so i built mine with a mid-engine V6 twin turbo, 2000hp, AWD, under 1000kg, and i managed a 7.1s 1/4 mile, but i think i should be able to get it into the 6s since it bogs on the launch, but at least it does a wheelie so thats cool.

You should make the 6th gear significantly shorter so that when you shift you get the instant boost. I am 100% sure that woould improve the time
I had some fun building and testing even though I didn't run due to game version. A bit of a shame it turned into a who knew the most exploits competition.

Your final attempts when shifting to 6th you lost at least 20kph at the end of the run. Would’ve been faster leaving it in 5th till the end of the run.

I got 6.53 with a huge V8 but I cant remember what I did as I deleted everything at some point 😅
I built a car with an interior inside. And the engine with a power of 3800hp V16 Vmax is 570km / h it can even faster but loses on acceleration
I did car that have only 1100hp and 1 tonne weight on RWD, but it goes 7.9 second and 1.4 to 100kmh. Does wheelie with has no wheelspin

Use bigger rims to help with exploding tires, also stop using ridicolous amount of power! 😭 a 2000 hp would be more than enought, i made a 7 seconds car with 500hp, you should balance wheel spin, power and weight, with a big engine you don't need much psi of boost, i know it's cool and it's hard to resist but good cars aren't with crazy amount of power 😭❤️

Why do you keep running so many gears. With that kind of power you can run less gears and stop banging it off the rev limiter so much.

ESC + LC is meant to help with accel and stability, meaning less turning, and more faster.
Love the videos but your drag racing knowledge is lacking which is why youre having issues. Your suspension setup is not optimized and gearing is still not perfect but a lot better than the first car. Also your tires exploding is because you increased the tire size and when you are hitting 3rd youre over gripping causing them to explode. Also the suspension is too low causing the tires and suspension to clip into the ground. Raise the rear and stiffen it. Youll have to mess with 2nd and 3rd to get the shift point well before max torque. When you shift into 3rd the engine is at its peak ratio so you need to be in 3rd before the peak tq rpm otherwise the force is too much.
AWD straight 6 would've been the fastest. Most predictable video ever.
