Now that I've played automation for so long and played the campaign too much I find myself designing cost effective or market specific cars constantly in the designer. Something about racing two cheaper cars in beam is just so satisfying. Also if you didn't know you can adjust the engine position forward and backward with the weight balance option in aero I think instead of just moving it with the controls.
I’d love to see more off-the-wall/balls-to-the-wall builds, because they’re so whack and fun! Hell let liaise and build a time attack minivan Also someone just released a race widebody kit mod pack that’s really awesome! Might’ve made your job on the rear end easier
The automatic manual transmission is an automatic transmission with a manual option. Like having paddle shifters or a slap shift with an automatic transmission
The reason the red line disappears on the brakes is because you made the front and rear brakes exactly the same, so the blue line was drawn on top of the red line, hiding it.
My work has 2 "auto manual" trucks. One is a normal auto "stick" (park/drive/reverse) on top of a manual box, which I have no idea how it works. Some kind of black magic. And the other one is a normal manual H shifter but it has no clutch pedal. 2 really strange trucks that are absolutely horrible to drive. Loved this build mate :)
i made in automation the 240z with every L engine that the fairlady has seen (and a tank engine out of the PzIV a 12.000ccm v12 and 3000 redline with troque for days )even a "Devil Z" With Fitting Secs From the S130Z that insiried the Devil Z out of Wagan Mightnight
Some tips cams are important some time there will give you massive benefits, same for the turbo I'd start by coping a real performance turbo for specs. In your case your riding the surge line all the way up (very bad). More boost is generally good (one stage of compressor like this is generally good for a 3:1 ratio in bar so 30psi of boost and the big boys do well around 6:1 so 45psi. Bore to stoke ratio matters but just in the sense that your balancing it for rpm. A longer connecting rod will make more power in most cases but especially in boosted engines and it helps spread the load over time so same parts will make more before breaking.
I'm pretty sure I had the first generation of this game about twenty years ago or so. In the original game you had the choice of an AMC Javelin AN V8, some AN-6 and a Honda Turbo I4. Thank you for entertaining and sharing.
I started messing around in automation before the beamNG collab but haven't played automation in a year or two so when you say 'I remember when we didn't have 3D effects and the advanced settings" I'm sitting here like I don't remember us having those things at all! I gotta get back into it. XD
Ew...yeah your probably right. Its got impressive numbers and looks but likely cant do anything not in a straight line. SEMA is where usually all show and no functionality
someone surely already said it but higher quality interior are often heavier than cheap one you can easily check with the weight of the car on the left while tweaking it :)
im still trying to remake my magnum opus. i was pushing the car to 434mph/698kmh, until the front tires would explode from downforce. if i tune my hp 30% higher than my weight (2000lbs/ 3000hp), than 1000lb - 2000lbs of downforce balanced works well for me
I kind of stumbled a crossed this video, not sure how. it also peaked my interest, I haven't played this simulator in a long time, and seeing what new updates there I are wanted to get back into it, because of this video. Well, that being sad I used your basic design, and did what you did kind of, but a v12 with 2000hp and a 11700 rpm, but same chassis and also widebody too, like to share with you so you can check out although. its good, yours might be better
The citroen C4 in the late 2000's mid 10's comes with an auto manual.... It's trash, you feel the car clutching in, change gears, clutching out, and if you change your mind with the throttle mid shift it can stall on you or do some stupid gear changes
can you please create an open wheel racer whit a high revving V12 that's similar to the old 90s F1 cars. I mean a car with massive wheels with small rims and big breaks, lots of power and downforce with good handling without a cost cap just to see what you can create when you want to go quick round a track.
Favorite Car is the 2015 Mclaren P1, the world's first Hybrid Hypercar, absolutely jaw-dropping to look at, and reminds us of experimental jet fighters pushing past the sound barrier for the first time, as the P1 is so dangerous it WILL kill you as soon as you look at it the wrong way. 903 BHP, 217 MPH WITH DOWNFORCE, weighs less than a Ford Fiesta, and yet only RWD. Wow, what an astonishing car, absolute masterpiece. Jeremy Clarkson even called it the "Widow Maker" on BBC's Top Gear UK. Just search "Top Gear Mclaren P1" on UA-cam. Just watch it, then I dare you to tell me there was ever a more boundry-pushing, beautiful, more insane machine ever made by mankind.
Honestly I'm stuck between a lot of cars for my favorite. But if i had to narrow it down to region I'd say for the Americas id put the 1969 Dodge Charger. For Asia Nissan GTR R34. Then Europe id say Lamborghini Countach. Idk many from like African manufacturers or Australian manufacturers.

@@MV-ri7zu Alpha 4.2, whatever the most recent update is
@@automotiveflux oh so im guessing I have to manually change to the alpha update? Says I dont have updates for automation...
@@MV-ri7zu yep, you will have to opt into it on steam
"I'm a little sick", sounds exactly like your cars. *Hell yeah brodder*

oh my WIDENESS
that car is insane, one of your best creations, the jet black scheme works hella good
Beautiful!
Favorite car is tough, but I think the BMW 2002 is probably it for me.
My top 2 would probably be the 1977 Porsche 911 and the BMW 2002. So I guess we have similar taste in cars.
My '05 TSX has a type of auto-manual/slap shift. It is an automatic but you can take manual control of shifting up or down.
So did my Infiniti G35
A little late but the E46 M3 has an Auto Manual. Their "automatic" of that generation was the same transmission as the manual but automated.
I’d love to see more off-the-wall/balls-to-the-wall builds, because they’re so whack and fun! Hell let liaise and build a time attack minivan

Coincidence you make a hillclimb car when the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb and Goodwood FOS are happening.
Hillclimb is cool
Great Build 👍 Keep up the good work
ZAZ-968M. a classic tiny car. Absolutely amazing, def one if not my favourite car.
18:33 bro from the front it kinda looks like a dope BMW E36
As someone who will become a car mechanic this September: Holy shit i have a lot to learn

The SMG gearbox in E46s are automated manuals and pre-DCT ferraris used automated manuals.
"How does it drive" ad pops in 😂
The way you’ve done the lights and the grill looks almost exactly like a Lincoln ls, not sure if you noticed or not.
Great to see some fresh new content being frequently uploaded 👌🏼👌🏼

I love watching these and listening to you while i make my own cars. It's very relaxing you have a nice voice. Favorite car is the 1969 Datsun 240z

My favorite car *might* be the Porsche 924 Carrera GT. That being said, most things with a 5 cylinder or V10 is way up there on sound alone.

Porsche 911 of any year. They look cool wide too.

The trans in my 09 lancer ralliart is a dual clutch thats classified as an automated manual.
this car needs some real cool passengers tbh
Congratulations, you basically took a LMP900 Engine and a Group 5 super shilouette car and made it a damn road car.
Auto Manual is sometimes called clutchless manual. My car (Fiat 500) can be driven in full auto or in auto manual. It's nifty

automanual is replacing the sequential gearbox to fill the Single clutch automatics like an aventador or 430

1992 cadilac brougham d'elegance
Cars that are “convertible” but have no actual roof are called spyder, like the 918 spyder or if you’re bmw you call it a roadster in the i8 roadster
My original idea was that the top would fold under the trunk (hood?) lid and be hidden, obviously that wouldn't work realistically
Mitsubishi called their convertibles spyder, someone must have translated that to them slightly off lol
I have a fast car I think could beat that in a drag, where.could I send it to you
Give it a try on the dag strip
@@automotiveflux can do, I think it's a v16 in a cobra style body
U need to lower the compression if u what turbos and the piston stroke must be short downsides less torque, but more power
Are these mods, or has this game just changed that much?
It's changed a lot with the alpha version
