Nice flight and good to be on board, your un flustered commentary a nice touch will implement your recommendations and report back. Kind regards Charlie in UK
Thanks for the kind words! Let me know how you get on. It’s one of my favorites but took me a while to get the take offs and landings (still learning those landings) cheers!!!
Another awesome tutorial, great stuff. Had i been on the plane at that landing wing-dip though, i'm pretty sure i'd have got coffee all over my suit, making me unable to attend my high-flying business meeting and ruining my entire day, perhaps even my entire life! You know how it was in the 1950's when these business liners were flying important people around,, make the boss mad once and you're fired! Not trying to make you feel guilty by any means though of course. :D (ignore me i'm just mad hehe ) i really enjoyed the video.
Great instructional video. I'm having trouble in both take off and landing but I think with your helpful hints and plenty of practice I'll at least stay on the runway.
A suggestion if I may. When setting your climb power setting, reduce MP first then RPM. Opposite when increasing power.RPM first, then MP. Tip; when reducing power after takeoff for your climb, reduce the MP 1" above your climb setting, Reaching 1K feet the MP should adjust itself to the correct setting. (Old multi- engine pilot trick :-))))))))
I’ve tried both ways and found that to keep it on the centerline with a cross wind you have a ton of rudder. As soon as the tail lifts it kicks it over. Not a fault of the aircraft just a fault of how the sim handles transitions from the rudder/wheel to the ground/air. Have you had good results with it locked on take off with a cross wind? Landing is not so bad as you can unlock once you need to but I struggle with it locked on take off.
Really helpful overview of how to properly manage the Beech, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! Such a fun aircraft to fly once you get the hang of it. Thanks for watching!

Definitely would have had coffee spilt and a talking to after that wing dip!

You are welcome!! It is a rewarding aircraft once you get it down! Super fun to fly!

Awesome thanks! I did know about the MP first and then RPM and always flip flop on those. But that is great about MP over 1k.
@@sprocketsimulations : My pleasure. These videos really help the general community. Very good stuff you are doing.

Lock the tailwheel.

@@Beechnut985 that is amazing! Glad the video brought back some good times! Very jealous of your experiences of owning this aircraft!
