I make most of these dishes, and I really like the way you put it together. Especially, when you don't leave even a little bit of the masalas in the mixie jar or plate or bowl. And I love it that you use your fingers to put any puree or dry powders into the pot! Absolutely an Indian thing, no frills! Jehovah's blessings!
Thanks, Pearl, you brought back memories my grandfather made this dish for the family ,I used to go in to the kitchen and dipp some bread into the gravy yummy
You remind me of my grandmother & my mummy. All most all your recipes are identical. We are Anglo-Indians... ANDERSON's from Richmond Town...Bangalore.
Hi Pearl. Lovely video. My Anglo Indian mother used to make trotter curry which was a favourite of my father and also a trotter stew which was one of my favourites. She used to say it was very strengthening so cooked it when we were poorly. Oh what memories and thank you for bringing them back to life.
cooked it yesterday, it was delicious, Thank you Pearl. Your recipe sure is better than the way I would make it and am going to try the same recipe but with Ox Tails next time...Yummm....
Hi Pearl. Yum Yum Yum. You make my mouth water every time I watch your recipes. So original because I remember my grandmother’s Paya curry, the look and the taste. Not a favourite of the kids but what do they know. I am not giving up trying to convince them to have a taste. I usually have to eat it myself but that’s ok. I know the gravy is being tasted quietly and I am making progress. Your recipe looks so good. My secret is I use Paya Masala. Anyway thanks once again for bringing back beautiful memories. Take care. ❤️🤗🙏🏼
My granddaughter's favourite dish. I just love watching her eat this. I noticed that you blend all your masalas with the ginger and garlic. Does this perhaps enhance the flavor?
Thank you Pearl for your lovely recipee , I like the dress on you . I usually prepare in the pressure cooker for 45 mins , use a little of good meat masala but will.yry out your recipe and let you know.
I think bay leaves should only go into a pot after putting them in a spice bag. This is because I almost choked to death on one when eating soup someone put loose bay leaves in. There was a person there who did the Heimlich Maneuver and saved my life.
Very well explained my mouth is watering tnks
