"The Bible Says Homosexuality Is A SIN!" Preacher Franklin Graham on Being Gay

- Evangelical Preacher and son of famous Evangelist Billy Graham, Franklin Graham joins Piers Morgan Uncensored whilst he is on a UK tour called "God Loves You".
Firstly Piers asks him about the recent 10-year-old victim of rape in Ohio who had to travel across the state border to get a legal abortion after falling pregnant and what Franklin would do if this was his daughter. Franklin says he is "not sure" and that its a "tough decision" because of his religion and the difficult circumstances and he would only be able to answer that if he was in the reality of it and had to face it.
Piers then goes on to ask him about his previous statements on homosexuality and if it is fair for anyone's sexual preferences to be labelled a 'sin'. Franklin replies by saying "The Bible says homosexuality is a sin" and that it's not debatable if it's a sin or not, but rather that he is just trying to warn them to repent their sins. He says "we all sin" but we must repent our sins to God and he will ultimately forgive us.

I am Catholic and I don't believe the bible who's to say that is the word of God the Bible was written by man and most likely is corrupted by the devil after all our lady did say the Catholic Church has the devil inside its walls. Going back to moses when he asked God for a set of laws to live a sin free life and to live by the word of God as God said to moses that it is written on stone will endure meaning it will stand forever witch is the 10 commandments and if back then God thought being gay was a sin it would have been in the 10 commandments. The Bible was written between about 1200 and 165 BC in this version of the Bible it did not mention homosexuality at all, it was not until it was rewritten that is was mistranslated into being about homosexuality, the line was “A man should not lie with a boy” but was changed to “a man should not lie with another man” when the book was translated from Latin to English was the time when homosexuality was making good headway into becoming more excepted. More passages and lines were added in during the translation process. People really need to do their research.

Sorry Piers, terrible interview. Beating up on a guy who raises a billion dollars a year and spends 94% of it on helping people around the world. You don't get it. If I lie to someone, I sin. If I have pre-marital sex, I sin. If I have gay sex, I sin. We are all sinning, ALL THE TIME. God doesn't hate gays. Gays are sinners. Straights are sinners. We are all sinning. You simply don't understand Graham or God, and your coldness towards faith is an unfortunate look on you that surely won't help these already troubled ratings.

Sometimes words are unnecessary. It's enough to watch it without sound.
Piers falls into the trap a lot of journalists face. How to be both a counter-party to a debate and a mediator of that debate at the same time. The answer is, you cannot. Either there should have been a neutral moderator or Piers should have asked questions in a neutral fashion and given the guest enough time to explain his answers before cutting him off.
It also shows an example of steering a conversation towards a pre-decided conclusion. Nothing the guest said was going to change Piers' point of view. It also reinforces that statistics that Piers gives that such a large percentage of UK citizens have moved away from Christianity, and therefore do not have even a basic knowledge of the real message of the Bible.
It also shows how easy it is to go after Christian people on these issues. I would love to see Piers try this same style of interviewing with a Muslim Imam on a topic like adultery.

The way he treated the reverend was utterly unacceptable, and it's amazing that Franklin Graham was even able to put up with it. Perhaps the segment was so short because Piers couldn't crack the code to getting inside Franklin Graham's head. Or perhaps, he got inside Franklin Graham's head and didn't like what he saw. It's amazing that Franklin Graham handled himself like a rock star, considering the way he was treated. Piers Morgan is known for saying that "Scripture is not conducive to modern life," which makes it unclear why he was interviewing Franklin in the first place. Isn't he preaching things that aren't relevant? So why give him the time of day? Maybe he was just looking for a ratings grab, or..... maybe Piers is concerned about his place in eternity. Either way, his behavior was unprofessional and inexcusable, should i say uncensored. In terms of the "Hail Mary" comment, it's not about saying a prayer that helps anything. It's about a heart that changes. And we can't change on our own. It's only through the Holy Spirit that we can change. I hope and pray that the Holy Spirit will get a hold of Piers Morgan's heart and help him see the error of his ways.

The second Graham starts his sentence, Piers cuts him off by asking 3 more questions without allowing him to answer any of those as well. With the question, you had about if a baby died at a stage where it couldn´t even reach the age where they begin to learn about Jesus Christ and you wondered what would happen to it. Well you see when god creates us into this world we are all pure at first in our young years of life, and yes the bible says we are all born with sin, but however our brains and thoughts as a newborn or at an age where we are too young to understand the bible have not yet crossed that line of age where we have our own thoughts and conciseness where we can make our own decisions and choices to either follow the teachings of the lord and accept Jesus Christ as our savior in order to be delivered and saved from eternal punishment or stray away from our creator and be overwhelmed by evil spirits. So if a newborn were to tragically pass away, that baby would not be old enough to be judged for how it lived because it never had the chance to live a life in the first place so that baby would be saved and this doesn´t only go for Christian babies, but also for any young human being around the ages of 5-0 years old (Months or even weeks old) because they have not reached the age where they are able to commit sin in their lives with their own thoughts and will. You also seem to question the logic of Jesus´s sacrifice and you also have questions about why we are accountable for Adam´s mistakes when it wasn´t us who committed them in the first place. Now to answer your question about how Jesus´s sacrifice is logical in any way, I want to first confirm that his sacrifice is actually real and the evidence is literally within the timeline that we used to mark history and which we use to even this very day. This being BC (Before Christ) and AD, Annon Domini which means the year of the lord in Latin which we´ve been using in our calendars which the whole entire world follows and has continued following for many generations. This event has literally been marked out on a timeline in history and questioning the lord who is basically our creator who is all-powerful and giving people a chance in order to give us an opportunity to save everyone from hell is so foolish. Now atheists like to believe in logical things and scientific theories in the world and that is many reasons why most don´t believe in god and turn towards science or anything that seems logical to them as an answer. Are you aware of the big bang theory made by scientists about how the entire world was created by one big bang, if you are then I would like to tell you that in the bible, the book of Genesis, it says that god first created light which was the first ever thing that was created in the world, and that was basically the big bang that started the entire world and the bible already answered that even though it was created thousands of years before scientists even came up with that theory of the big bang. I can understand where someone like you is coming from because not everyone was born and raised to understand the teachings of god and have many questions because of this, but please I do not encourage you to try and debunk the bible or plant seeds of doubt within Christian believers who want to be saved and try and destroy a religion which has been around thousands of years longer than you or I have ever been on this world. I do not get why people want to try and debunk Christianity when so many good things came from our religion, god´s spirit literally fills us with the joy to spread good deeds upon others and many Christian pastors literally save countless lives every time they turn the alcoholic people into people who quit drinking for the better, they donate to those in need, and warn people about bad things in the world and show them how to avoid it, as well as spreads good messages around the world. I pray that god may bless your soul with a wonderful day and a long life so that it shall allow you to be saved, as I understand your curiousness but I hope you will understand soon, and I shall pray for god´s wonders to work upon you, amen.

Those that choose to live like Eunuchs FOR THE SAKE OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN are bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex characteristics but opposite in regards to gender. Notice, God PREFERS for people to be in LGBT relationships.
Eunuchs are same sex couples. One partner is transgender. Transgender is when someone is born with a gender opposite the sex characteristics normally associated with that gender. God made us male or female, determined by gender, located in the brain.

I'm liberal when it comes to this issue (and am on Piers' "side" when it comes to a lot of his debates), but the guest is explaining his stance clearly and why he holds it, and Piers doesn't listen but just interrupts with the same argument that the guy was in the middle of explaining. Not a good look for any host.

Mr Graham just calmly stated his opinions even though he was never allowed to finish... we all know who looked like an insecure man here

Second, I said this before, the preacher never took responsibility for his opinion’s always foisting the off on God’s word. That isn’t an argument or an interview. That is just a sermon, if the preacher can’t use his words or his thoughts, he isn’t any better than reading the Bible yourself.
