    Thank you for such a prompt and accurate video, I changed the relays and the fans before realizing that they're controlled by this inexpensive little switch.... next time im coming to your Channel first!

    Thank you! I really like your channel, as I have a 2001 Honda Accord. For viewers: OEM part numbers for *1992-2007* 2.3L/4CYL Honda Accord. ALWAYS verify with your local dealer. There are online places you can buy OEM parts without from local dealers, which will rip you off!
    Part No.: *37760-P00-003 SHOULD ALREADY COME WITH THE NEW O-RING. IF NOT, SEE BELOW FOR THE O-RING PART*
    *Switch* Assy., Thermostat (A-93) (NIPPON THERMOSTAT)
    [Accord | 2001 | 2 Door LX | KA 4AT]
    Part No.: *91307-PN3-000*
    *O-Ring* (17.8X1.4)
    [Accord | 2001 | 2 Door LX | KA 4AT]
    Thermostat itself for *1990-2003* 2.3L/4CYL Honda Accord. You might as well replace the thermostat! BUT you will need to replace the coolant as well, since removing the thermostat will drain out the coolant!
    Part No.: 19301-PAA-306
    *Thermostat* Assy. (NIPPON THERMOSTAT)

    100+ degrees in LA this weekend, changed mine today, super easy! But it turned out that the relay was bad lol (test it by swapping with the AC condenser fan relay). TIL that Autozone has more parts in stock than O'Reilly (24mm deep socket, fan switch and relay.) Adios, O'Reilly.

    Hey brother, I have a 2002 Honda Accord with the Radiator fan working, but not the AC fan turning? Would replacing this switch in the video help? Or is there another switch I need to look for?

    Hello, does it make the radiator fan works when the car is getting hight temperature?

    • @MachineHeadRepairProjects
      @MachineHeadRepairProjects  4 роки тому +3

      Hot temperature running through your radiator is not a good thing. First, your vehicle will overheat and also build a lot of pressure. Your radiator will start to crack and leak. Then it's time for a replacement. It is suppose to maintain a certain temperature and not go above that. There for to monitor all that is the temperature fan and thermostat switch.

    I have one question does the color of the sensor has anything to do with how they work the one you have is brown and I bought one from auto zone and it is white

    I thought you said it was the fan switch not the sensor. Two different parts 🤦
