- This is a video on how to replace your bearings on your 80cc cdh or zeda engines. If you haven't heard already zeda and cdh and probably other manufacturers have had defective clutch bearings. In this video you will learn how to replace the bearings yourself. The ball bearings can be bought here rover.ebay.com...
I hope this helps and of you guys out.
Thank you so much for putting this out there! The clutch was bad, right out of the box, with last 2 motor kits I bought. This is exactly what I needed to see!
Finally somebody made a vid on how to fix this problem. Have 2 clutches from new motors that went bad in a couple hrs....Thks
Awesome information. Helping the young man down the street getting his bike running again. Thanks Jason.
Thank you for this tutorial as I desperately needed it.
An alternative method for putting the new bearings in, is to get a folded piece of paper, put bearings in the crease and then you can feed the inner race the bearings one by one as you control how fast they come out.
Orrrrr… use a precision screwdriver that is magnetic & just pick up the balls two or three at a time & feed them in lol
Thanks! Only vid on UA-cam that shows this procedure. Mine went south today bike wouldn’t run or pedal
Only video i found. Just what i need my friend. Thanks
Thank you, I was wondering how to split that clutch great job!!
Great resourceful video. First time seeing one if your videos, and def won't be the last. Thanks
Where does one purchase that pipe adapter? Also what is the diameter of the pipe adapter?
That's all fine and dandy but how did you get it off the bike?
My friend what kind of grease do you recommend for this
What size is the pipe adapter sir?
The bearings from the original clutch gear from my 2 month old Zeda 80 Dio went to hell on me a week ago. Swapped it out with the clutch gear on the 49cc BBR I upgraded from. Earlier today that clutch gear freezes on me 😤 popped the backing plate off both gears and gonna try to use the best of the bearings that came from both and hope it lasts until payday and when the new bearings come in
UPDATE: there's couple places in the town I live in that sell bearings. Called the one closest to my work and picked up 200 for almost $9 and had to wait until the next day for them to come in from their warehouse in Kansas City
أود أن أشكر 👍👏
Thanks for the video broski, well done!
what is the size of the bearing balls in a 50cc engine?
Thanks now we can fix those rattling bevel gears and prevent them chewing teeth and making noise
Thanks for your Great video.I have two go bad .now I can fix them.
Thanks for the vid!
How much play it supposed to have anyways for side to side motion on a gear or supposed to have no play at all don't know
The link in the description is bad could you re post it maybe?
want to hear your opinion on this rod to ZMN80 I never seen one of these rods you know anything about him I got one on my engine
I pulled the bucking bar to grease it, and some ball bearings came out. Any suggestions on how to putt them back in place. Thank you.
I know im four months late but there's supposed to be one bearing ball behind the bucking bar, its normal. just drop it back into the shaft and insert the bucking bar.
Thx for sharing!
It's there anyway you could tell me, how bearings came out off the bucking bar. Thanks
One
Great vid
So my clutch starts to shave off the casket inside and it leaves a metal or aluminum shavings that means this is my problem from this video and it's also a Zeda motor and I only had it or like a day and went bad
Thats zeda for ya😣
@@m.kasper7646 I already got it fixed though I saw this video and fixed it
@@will3460 I just cant stand zeda because of Robert Bianchi hes a POS
@@m.kasper7646 100% TRUE
Please tell me what size is the pipe you bought?
Dont you have a tape measure?
I don’t know if it was just MY clutch, but I purchased 1/8” bearings as per video. It wouldn’t work, tooo tight. I purchased 3mm bearing, it worked fine. 1/8”=3.13mm, 3mm=3mm. Assembly is accurate. Beware
Yup some use 3mm and some use 1/8
can you make a video showing how you removed everything please!
Great video thanks dude
I JUST = GOT MOTOR BAARRING R BAD IN NEW MOTOR HELP ME FIND A SET TO PUT IN MY MOTOR
I can’t get I’m out for some reason it’s really pressed on
Marvelous...
How many of these balls you need in total to replace one clutch?
I did this and tried the 1/8 but seams tight and dosnt move so im going to try smaller .if anyone has any idea y this is happening that the 1/8 dosnt work let me know
I have the 50cc Version and i need 3mm balls. Hope this helps.
@@nerofury9406 The 3mm balls are actually 3.175 mm, which are 1/8th inch. Same as he uses in this vid.
@@jimjensen1096 Are the balls in the 80cc engine the same as in the 50cc version?
Would 3mm balls work too?
@@nerofury9406 I can't say if the balls are the same size as in the 66cc(80cc) but I don't think they typically come any smaller. Maybe you have some of the original balls to compare, which is what I did.
@@jimjensen1096 That's the problem, I do not have the balls anymore.
Can you help me make a motorized bike please? I’m only 15 and I have no experience.
Did someone help you yet?
mark kasper he's probably dead. seems like no replies from anyone in this vid even the vid maker.

ALLL THE MANE BAERRINGS R BAD HELP ME FIND A NEW SET PLEEZZ
huh so now it make a lot of sense, clutch already come like sh*t, lots of people complain their zeda motorsport engine clutch goes to sh*t, but robert and brother josh go off and harass people who have this issue when they try to contact zeda motorsport for support, really fked up
My clutch uses 3mm (.118 in) ball bearings, not 1/8 inch (.125 in). The pipe fitting is a 1 1/2 inch by 2 inch adapter. The backing plate fits nicely into a 4 inch PVC fitting and supports the ring gear better that using a vise. Place a rag on top of the inner race to prevent it from jumping up and spraying the ball bearings out. Thanks Jason.
Is there anywhere somewhere I can find an upgraded clutch its really annoying and can you link both of the pipes I popped out the bearings but I can’t put the new ones in I don’t have a even seal because I have no pipe for it
Thank you Mike for the clarification on ball bearing size and pipe fitting size. Although I'll probably go with your idea... (4) inch PVC fitting. Agree 100 % with rag placement , Thanks Jason
I feel you probably should have greased that last piece! Being that it acts as a race!
To be honest I put more then enough grease on it. Anymore grease and it will get on the clutch pads.
@@motorbikesbyjason9083 I got ya! Question for ya! I have been wanting to get an engine kit and have been putting it off because of the laws in mg erea plus ooh had an engine package that came with all the upgraded parts include and now it's not available! If you were to bug one which one would you get? Recently I have been looking at californiamotorbike engine kits. Basic but I believe they have upgraded hardware/ bolts!
@@ericmcginnis9413 yes! Get the runwell from them
How the fuck did you just punch the backplate off that easily?! That thing must of been holding on by a thread.
