Yo Krimh ! What's happening with Vogg and Machine head ? Any chance you rejoining Decapitated ? Peace to you bro !! Amazing tune and impressive playing as always .
I grew up watching Krimh, I saw him go from playing lamb of god covers to joining decapitated and septic Flesh. Love that I was raised by UA-cam in the golden era.
That's not talent, big brother. That's many many many hours of practice, years of training, rudiments, and technique development. The man has earned everything he's done.
@@KvltKrist it's true. a lot of people could do this if they had the same kind of drive and persistence to do it. But few do. Talent might give you a bit of a headstart but the hard workers always gonna catch up at some point if you think you can be lazy. Now the one's to be feared are the one's that are very talented and also very hard working. Eg. Donati. If he'd be a boxer or in some type of competittive sport, he'd be unbeatable
Krimh is a monster. Saw him a few years ago with Septic Flesh and there was a line of probably 20 drummers lined-up against the wall trying to watch his feet :)
Seriously! Metal and Jazz are the melting pots of anything music. In both genres you can add anything tastefully and it will probably work well. Such creative genres. When people say I hate metal or jazz I just tell them they don't understand complex music because they're small-brainedlol.
I think that you can really fuse anything if you're creative enough, but it's a lot easier with stellar examples, like in metal. Old school video games like Earthbound, among others, were making fully electronic jazz and prog in the 80's and 90's. Of course, that was due to hardware limitations, but that doesn't change that the hotel theme in Earthbound was literally an electronica/bossa nova fusion.
Oh dude I've waited so damn long for someone to react to Krimh, he's my fav drummer, absolute beast please react to more of his stuff, he's got loads on his channel... 👍👍🤘🤘
I was watching an interview yesterday with the female drummer from the band Nervosa Eleni Nota and she says this man here is her biggest influence right now so I really wanted to check him out, and I knew this probably would be a good channel to find him, lol. He is definitely super talented, nice reaction 👍
Hey Andrew, been watching Krimh on YT when I was a kid and he's a huge reason I've started to play again. Also a really nice bloke and helpful, a drum idol for sure
I saw this when it first came out and I'd never seen him play before. First thing that hit me was how awesome the kit sounded, then how creative he was. Reminds me a lot of Mario Duplantier from Gojira.
I think I first watched KRIMH when he did **Ye Entrancemperium** cover, and immediately fell in love with his drumming. A lot of time passed since then, and I still enjoy his works like if I hear him for the first time. This dude is always flawless, never disappoints! 🤘
Ive always thought he was a step above most death metal drummers because he adds as much dynamics and orchestration as he can within the genre. Yes he’s brutal and fast, but he writes drum SONGS, not just spaces filled with blasts. He’s like the Dave Grohl of death metal drummers.
Been watching Krimh's youtube channel for like a decade now. so much cool stuff he's done and been a part of. I like the video's of his music where it shows him playing everything (all of the guitars & drumming). Super creative.
Here I've been asking you to do a review of this gentleman's playing, and you already did one before I subscribed! Well it wasn't me who introduced you to him, but I'm glad you got a chance to check out some of his stuff. Cheers Andrew!
Having a hard time coming up with superlatives adequate enough for this guy. Reminded me of Chris Turner more than Gavin Harrison. Great reaction video. Honestly appreciate your input Andrew.
Love your reaction. Mine is very much the same when I hear a new tune that really gets my attention. I dissect music down to the core as well, at times it can lead to ridicule from others when my opinion is not a popular one especially about popular bands. Krimh is definitely one of the few who are very technically proficient which only leads me to believe, it comes down to the seriousness of the drummer.
Love Krimh, I've not seen him play something so dynamic and musical. Not bagging on his other stuff but he's known to me more of a metal drummer so its nice to see him deliver more range. Great stuff.
Andy, I don't know if anyone pointed this out or not, but this is off of Krimh's solo album, he plays all the instruments on this solo records. So he's playing guitar and bass as well. :) Big fan of his work, excellent drummer and composer.
I think this is from his upcoming solo record. [Edit-its actually from an older one] He was recently on the extreme drummers podcast. Hosted by dan wilding who's the current drummer for carcass. We'll worth checking it out. Lots of amusing drummer based banter.

Krimh's cymbal work here is fantastic! Those splash combinations... Immediately had me looking for these cymbals with a credit card in hand. Of course I'll never make anything sound as good as he has here, but still😂
Not sure if you're aware, since Krimh is a new artist to you. But he composes all of his Solo music. Guitars and everything. Also, one of his favorite drummers is Gavin Harrison, so it only makes sense to hear a little bit of his work within Krimh. Great video, would love to see you do more of Krimh.
I think zen-like level of control describes KRIMH pretty good. I always think that with his double bass technique, there was one drum clinic video where he showed how to speed up and slow down and it was flawless...
