*I feel your pain man, happened to me so many times and in other quest when I enter the zone*
I didn't think I'd enjoy this as much as your other videos since I've never played a Monster Hunter but holy shit you can make ANYTHING funny!
All the synonyms for crotch had me crying with laughter but I died at "Lawrence of a labia" 🤣
Snizzbut before you play it just be ready to struggle
You can also use hurricane slash in demon mode by using the jump spin (A button) and then pressing X afterward OR just press the minus (-) button to do it raw. It fills up the demon gauge real quick and is much safer (and faster) than Devils Dance as you can dodge out of it.
this is definitely superior
this video is awesome and hilarious and you've got most of it right but theres a couple of things I saw that I don't think fit that well for DB usage, in general and in generations/ultimate.
First of all, when you do an adapt evade with dual blades its really best to evade into the monster so that you're doing a lot of damage, not evade away from the monster like most adept weapon styles would do.
Secondly, devils dance doesn't fill the gauge very much and you can't evade out of it, and it lasts a while and the only part of it that does much damage is the last part. You say that it takes 3-4 devils dances to fill up the gauge, and in the same breath say that its the fastest way to fill it. Just do the bey-blade a couple of times and its already full.
Only use the devils dance when the monster isn't moving, otherwise bey-blade (which is possible in demon mode but not everybody knows it) or do general attacks (the fastest way in old games was to do the air spinning attack that is performed with the A button) that can be dash canceled. Otherwise, you're going to get hit a lot, and that doesn't make sense for the most nimble weapon class. In this game particularly, I almost never devils dance at all because its so slow and because the adept evade attack pretty much takes its place.
Thirdly, in your game-play footage you walked out of the way of so many of the monsters attacks. I don't want to be rude but do you know what adept is for? There is a lot of damage you miss out on by not taking advantage of the dual blades adept evade attack.
The arch-demon mode point you pointed out is something I agree with and I just wanted to point out how undervalued that part of the weapons usage is and even though this comment is mostly disagreements I just wanted to put some positivity in here just to show that I'm not out here trying to be mean or a troll or something.
In a dual blades set don't use stamina skills, they really are a waste of points when you're able to use dash juices or just generally manage your stamina properly. Don't use focus as the gauge is filled super fast anyway and its another waste of points.
handicraft is good if you want raw and your weapon doesn't have natural raw
sharpness is almost always good in dual blades and if you can fit it then always use it but if you dual blades has long purple or long white, or you're using blunt and your weapon has long green, you won't really care that much for it.
NEVER use sheathing with dual blades because your sheathing speed is extremely fast anyway so what are you even doing
all affinity related skills are broken in this game no matter what weapon class you're using so thats good
dual blades are the best elemental weapon in the game, and the only weapon other than light bowgun that can do good damage off of the merits of its elemental capabilities more than its raw capabilities, so making sets for each element including elemental power boosting skills, elemental crit, and using weapons with irresponsibly high elemental power is super good. If you are looking for the best elemental dual blades in the game heres a list of them for your convenience.
Fire: Aesonique LV5 OR Scoria LV3
Water: Uber Deathsnarfs LV8
Thunder: Wonderkirins LV8
Ice: Dark Silhouette Sabers LV5
Dragon: Guiltfang Evilbringer LV5 OR Magnastar Rig LV6
My intention really was not to be mean but as a DB main this really was hard to watch
Dude if I am perfectly honest your tutorial for that weapon is dead on what I was looking for, searched for a nice guide to show me how to position myself when to attack how big combo I should be using and you presented it all unlike any other tutorial that just shows what combos there are, thx man lol can't believe I missed ur video.... better late than never
I watched this video over a year ago and had to rewatch it after I found myself saying, "scoopity poop" everytime I do the A button attack.
You didn’t talk enough shit on long weapons (like GS or LS) or the dual blade moves that arent beyblade and devil dance. overall 100/10 dual blades best weapon
Amazing. I am definitely giving db a try now. I wish there were more videos like this for other weapons.
what a riveting video. I didn't think I'd actually be so persuaded to use dual blades but now I'm going to
anyways i have a solution to avoid 1:49 situations it quite simply is. throw tranqs at narkarkos as its doing the laser it flinches it out of it. or use the damn binders please stop multi-carts to narkarkos today.
When I'm in doubt, I'm definitely gonna WHIP IT OUT. You're funny bro, keep up the good vids 😂.
I didn’t even know you could switch the bumpers for the triggers.......
Just to point out... the default controls are bumpers over triggers to favour handheld mode. Its a lot more comfortable to press a bumper
>used generations charge blade over 4u charge blade pain
A true DB user holds firm to the taint-blender style. lets the big boys trip each other fighting over the head and tail while DB and BGs dps the thing down.
also #BumperGang XD
that hurricane slash is also available in demon mode, and even deal a bit more damage there. use kick button to activate it (thats how i did it in 3ds) and spam the heck out of it.
all you need is:
1. chug dash juice
2. activate demon mode
3. spam hurricane slash
4. if opportunity arise, do demon dance
5. repeat
hurricane slash pros:
1. decent dps
2. can be cancelled early in case you need to evade. cant do this with demon dance
not really need to go to archdemon mode to use it.
Ngl the long sword b has probably the best potential with the adept style in genU and world
That opening hurts. I just about mastered the switch axe in Rise/Sunbreak, so hopping into MHGU for the first time I picked it up and...man I need something else.
Valour db is bae.
U forgot a very important step. Step 0.5 drink mega dash juice
Since Monster Hunter Portable 3 ... I never use any other weapon, only Dual Blades.
wildin coincidence, i dropped splatoon 2 pretty uch around the time you made your last video and probably wont pick it back u for a while, and instead started MH generations. i'll definitely give these a try, great vid my dude
I like using the bumpers instead of the triggers, the bumper don't wear as fast
0:49 how do you check those weapons usage stats? Im curious to see my most used weapon
You check them by looking at your guild card
I love your videos so much, but this has to be one of my favorites! Please make more Monster Hunter guides or videos in general!
Hmm about the tigerzords well no the saber tooth tiger was fron zyuranger (dinosaurs) and the Tigerzord of the white ranger was from Dairanger (chinese culture)
Most fun and vulgar, guide on Dual Blades I have seen so far. That's how I like it, and I play them exactly that way.
Or use adept charge blades. Coming from a former dual blades main.
For the Switch’s Pro controller, I’m more comfortable hitting the bumpers. For the Joy Cons, it’s the triggers. So for me it just depends on the controller.
Also even though I don't play this you still make it look good and funny
just meownster hunter for dash extracts (gypceros missions), if it's G rank and all of your palicos land on gypceros then you can easily get over 20 dash extracts in one go. Make as many mega dash juices as you like and always be in demon mode for that dmg modifier :) fuck the early steps of recharging archdemon mode haha, have both.
MushroomMancer.... That is all
triggers have longer travel time usually thus are inferior
After step zero
Me: you can do that?!
Baritoth is a good set for dual blades, focus & stamina recovery or was it evasion 🤔🤔🤔 on it can't remember now 🤔🤔🤔
going from brave to this is very jarring because my buttons don't do what I want them to do but I feel like it'll be better for me in the long run
but also i made a mistake doing this first time against 2 khezus
Mushroomancer plus mopeshrooms is how I roll. And yeah I do use aerial style, deal with it
1:50 Oh god, I felt that.
It happened to me.
Twice.
I hope soooo Badly that this guide help me to beat this GOD DAMN DOUBLE BLOODBATH QUEST
I enjoyed this a lot but i must say HERE'S THE FUCKING TIME STAMP FOR WHEN HE ACTUALLY TALKS ABOUT ADEPT DB: 4:35
(although start at 4:00 because jesus Christ who the fuck uses the default L/R controls)
Sorry but Ariel stile duel blades ,shiefs kiss
I love this video, very entertaining and funny!
7:20 he did, he really did tho
this channel is underrated 10/subscribe
Eyyy you got it! Hope I️ can catch you online sometime!
Edit: Finished video, loved it, and Demon Dance is cool but have you tried True Demon Dance 👌
As for tips the best abilities are crit skills cause all that DPS IS VERY SEXUAL
born invincible reference
Damn I was going to one my shout outs to my blade is unbending 😄
What is Kiranici?
Website
I feel like it needs to be said that demon mode is tied to ZR in Rise.
All moves that would normally be tied to the sprint button in older gen games are tied to the trigger since World and Rise because the 3DS by default didn't have triggers
Please, return in Rise🙏
Is evasion stacks to adept?
Step 10 : get tons o affinity while in devils maw to make thw monster go blind
I didn't laught, but still though it was entertaining and still appreciated the effort...
...Until 7:00 where all three following jokes got me xD
thank you for telling me about switching around the sprint controls.
Thank you so much
You sure dwell long on those bumper/trigger issue, considering that Joycons don't have triggers
More monster hunter!!!
I like the bumpers... :)
best video i ever seen, a like from me and good job
Don't attack the crotch, añways attack the weak zones
comment 4 the algorythm
Where valor
1:21
Sploon refrences
Really enjoyed it xD
What's your thing with Initial D?
It's tied with Cowboy Bebop as my favorite anime, that's it.
Naw, valor's the best.
Bumpers>Triggers
Nakarkos' heads?!?!?! Blasphemy!!
Omg mh guides!? Nice
1:24 lmaooo🤣
Valor
1:45 Yeah my bro did that the other day with a dreadking rathlos 😂
*use kiranico*
1:49 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm the 666th like, pretty sure I'm cursed now
"long sword is less weeb than Dual blades" *glances at MHW's naruto run* suuuuuuuure buddy
That....is a very good point
Please... Keep MHW out of this...
maaaaan, you're hilarious!
#BestUA-camr
Why does monster hunter have weapons in it that are designed for hand to hand combat with other humans rather than specifically for hunting monsters? I mean you would be an idiot to try to hunt bears with a sword.
I'm sorry, let me whip out my F-19 and RPG. That totally fits in with the setting for this game. GAME. GAAAAAAAME.
@@aaronharvey1893 as a VERY late reply... Have you not used Light/Heavy bowguns?
tbh MHGU isn't much harder than MHW, they're the 2 easiest MHs
They're mostly easier due to fixes to the game that just needed to happen. Like how some monster had hitboxes that had no possible way of actually physically connecting like the infamous plessy hipcheck.
Also, there is the fact that balancing was partly the issue. Monster Hunter in the early days was balanced like so: Safe weapons like lance were weaker, but safer, resulting in long hunt times. Risky weapons like HAMMER!!!! were way stronger and downright OP.
Back then there was no diminishing returns on stun. This meant that some hunts became stun fests where the monster never got to attack because he was too busy being stunned to death. This resulting in a monster like Akantor in MHF dying in 5-11 minutes depending on what skills and if you used buff items.
MH has almost always had an easy mode for dps, alot of people just don't want to admit it and like to cover their ears and pretend it's okay.
TL;DR: Monster is easier now because technology doesn't suck anymore and monsters no longer have bullshit hitboxes.
-Some guy who's been playing since MH on the ps2.
Yeah, not denying that old MH games were complete horseshit sometimes. I'm talking about more recent MH games like 3U and 4U. They're at least harder than GenU because you don't literally have a move that gives you several seconds of s while sharpening your weapon, or a style that gives you basically free evasion +3. Any number of arts can kind of trivialize the game when used effectively, and while I still enjoy GenU a lot, it's hard to deny that it's a significantly easier game than, say, MH4U.
bapanada personally I think it has a lot to do with the hunting styles. Valor style makes a lot of the older monsters feel outdated. Haven’t fought the tigrex for like 7 years. Went in with valor and destroyed him like damn it was so much harder when you couldn’t be invulnerable to every attack.
MH3U is a lor easier than MHGU. MH3U I solo'ed all G rank. MHGU I don't think I'll solo everything. (I know the comment in 1 yo, whatever)
