It's a nice looking adapter that fits flush with the MacBook. Looks like a good product if you want a microSD card to always be in your MacBook, which is way cheaper than paying apple for that same size of storage. One tiny problem is SD-cards tend to die faster than the SSD, so I wouldn't store irreplaceable data on it. You should back up your data anyways.
