Hey :) thank you :) There are a few factors. I didn't want to use a planner on the glue (even though I scraped it). Also a planer leaves you with snipe (typically on the sides the planer take a little bit more of material) and that does not happen with a flattening bit. And in my case it would be very tight to pass the board through the planer as per its width :)
Hey John :) Yes, that was one of the reasons. Because of the glue even though I scraped it. Also the width of the board was very tight to pass it through the planer. Also I wanted to get as much of the board as possible so I wanted to avoid any snipe that could be caused by the planer.

Gostei muito do projeto. Estava pensando em fazer um com outros tipos de madeira aqui da região parabéns
Absolutely, go for it. what kind of wood are you thinking about? This one is make of beech, walnut and ash.
Meu querido mestre, esse truque com a cola para passar a madeira no desengrosso era tudo que eu precisava. a tábua ficou fantástica. Parabéns
Haha, perfect, love it. Thanks Siliva :)
Great video! Thanks for the clear steps. As a beginner, can I ask why you used a router flattening bit instead of a planer/thicknesser?

Nicely done. Question: You used a router. Was that because of the glue instead of using the planner?
