Mr. How I am not talkin about anybody but it never ceases to amaze me and I drove trucks for over 20 years how a driver can still keep going get a self deeper and deeper in trouble rather than stop assess what's going on and maybe find reverse and get their self out of a problem love you videos be safe and have a great day Sam
Nice kid (driver) I just can't believe that they don't have better training for drivers before they turn them loose on the roads! Great video, thanks for sharing.
It all starts with these CDL schools. The teach them how to pass a test, not how to drive. On top of that, common sense isn't something that can be taught.
Trucking is something that I feel is best taught generationally. Having someone who is experienced is key. Half the drivers are being trained by people who are new themselves. The deadlines put on by the shippers are making it worse too! Look at the people that don’t understand the concept get out and look. It’s a lot easier to walk somewhere and find where you need to go than take the truck back and find out the hard way. We need the old school hands that teach how to operate the truck properly
Rule number one, never turn around on grass. That's all I do is tanker work. I don't know what these drivers are thinking when they do this nonsense. Nice work Mister Hal.🏁🇺🇸
When he kept saying it was his 2nd load thought he meant of that job. But guess he meant 2nd load since passing his test. Hopefully he learnt a good lesson. Least he didn't do it in the middle of a city street with loads of onlookers. Stay safe Mr Hal and all at Sumter Wrecker 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧
This guy just learned an expensive thing NOT to do. Hopefully he applies what he learned in the future. Nice Recovery Mr Hal. Thank you for the video. Stay safe out there.
If one drives dirt roads in all types of weather and conditions, it is not a matter of if one gets stuck, but when one gets stuck. Everyone should keep that in mind and drive prepared. In addition, the driver is young and will learn.
I watched both videos the video with the stuck dump trucks looked like a real workout for you the 750 showed her power. I tried to like the video but UA-cam said there was a problem with liking the video watching both videos was a treat. Which also was a interesting video take care GOD BLESS you and your crew 🙏
Yep, I have seen many videos of Ron Pratt and he is very good. This trucker is lucky that his Semi is not buried up to axles, because I have seen many Semi drivers who managed to bury the truck wheels a foot deep in wet soil.
I t is shocking how little preparation these drivers have to make this type of haul within their abilities. You stay safe particularly when dealing with such inexperienced drivers! 👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏😊😊😊
First time watching. I like to see that you are reading and committing to your mail. and you Stay safe out there. I also watch Ron Pratts and He is also ver good.
I can’t cast any stones on the new driver. I was a rookie 30+ years ago and I made mistakes too. This was an easy fix so no harm done. Great job as usual Mr. Hal!
Oh learned those lessons back in my day, Mr. Hal you have the patience of Job and I absolutely love the content y'all share as always God bless y'all from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️💯
Well you know that saying it's not his first rodeo it was the second one but now he did all right. Nice job! He really appreciated that. Good stuff. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Ron, I enjoy watching your videos. I have an idea of you dealing with your father's passing. My father passed away years ago and at times. I still deal with his passing. But with God's help we can get by.
You should receive that hot sauce I sent your way via Priority Mail. That bottle held almost 9 ounces and it was the last bottle i had here until the others arrive.
Sir you put the chains on and that truck came out in no time flat . The driver was very young and had not a lot of road experience which showed by his choice of turning location . Thank you for an entertaining and professional video , stay warm and well , God bless you and yours , till next time . Stuart in Ontario .......
LOL I liked it at the end where you showed driving through the muddy part of the road. Similar to how Matt from Diesel Creek does his intro, only yours is better !!!! Drive safe and we will catch you on the next one !!!!
The urge to be critical is strong. However I have had numerous vehicles towed out of some crazy places, including inside a house, when I did not set the parking brake. Nice kid, he will learn and a great job by Mr Hal
"Should I click these 2 buttons?" That young man had me feeling sorry for him. He was definitely out of his element getting that truck off pavement... Something tells me he will be seeing more recovery trucks in the future.
NO, I thank he will be looking for a new job. After learning he came down the road and was trying to turn around that way. If he had driven past the angled road. then stop and back up to his right so he could see his trailer stay on the hard road, then pull wide to make the turn to his left and back the way he came. But still, why is he here in the first place?
Great job Mr. Hal!!! Thank you sir! I’m still waiting on that Gopher video. Also, I am looking for an older 4 door ramp truck. If you happen to run across one for sale (since you’re in the recovery business), any chance you could let me know? If not, no worries sir. Thank you again for all the videos!
Like many of us that young man is off to the school of hard knocks. Sad thing is all these CDL schools and other traing outfits are so bogged down teaching driver how to deal with rules and regulations, other than basic start stop and backing, they don't really get a grounding in basic truck mechanics, equipment systems and fundamentals. Mostly they end up learning that the most expensive way for both themselves and the truck owners. Had a driver stuck on a beet hopper once, he'd been in that truck 6 months and didn't even know he had diff locks. Another good vid, that wind made me cold though.
I was about 30 minutes into the "Holmes 750 never gave up nor did I" video where Mr Wilbert showed up, then it stopped playing and then showed it was private and wasn't available any more??
All you got to do is hook on the back of that trailer have the driver to put in river and pull from behind save time it well come I have done that many times it works
