lol. I'm always going past road closed signs, but usually in reverse to drop a machine. Some truck drivers never cease to amaze me! I watch these videos and i almost want to be a wrecker driver....almost lol. Big thumbs up from Shelby, NC!!
It is really a shame you had to tell that guy how to drive out of that situation. The really scary part is if he didn't get fired he is still out there playing on the phone and wearing his headphones not paying attention to what he is doing. Hope he don't kill somebody.
looks like he is a new driver maybe out a few weeks on his own. I remember those days when I started driving except I ran over a parked 2 week old Cadillac while making a sharp turn. owner was even more mad when the state trooper told the owner tuff crap shouldn't have parked there lol. nice video
Awesome job why does it not surprise me that tractor has jersey plates we deal with drivers like this all the time. Surprised he didn’t pull pin 😂. Stay safe out there thanks for the videos.
Either that youngster DOESN'T know how to use it, or he has completely destroyed the clutch brake on that rig. As a professional driver of 22, working towards year 23, it is my pet peeve when the clutch brake is inoperable in a truck!
Well when i first got my own trk. I was out for about a week and i was in pa and left the terminal after filling up on fuel and i had about 17k in the dry van and went through 10 miles 1 lane with concrete barriers on both sides. Speed limit resumed normal picked up speed you know you have a problem with a manual transmission trk when rpms go up as speed goes down and i wasnt even heavy. I took next getoff ramp fiquired no shoulder on expressway and if couldnt move blocking ramp would be better but there was a restaurant with trk parking right at end of ramp. Messaged breakdown that my clutch was gone. They wanted me to go back to terminal. No clutch is gone. Funny part was i was like 5 miles from delivery. Can you make it to delivery. No clutch is gone. (Like they didnt believe me) they sent a bobtail for trl and a wrecker for me. Sometimes you get junk equipment so maybe clutch brake was already fried
@@tractorboy31 I don't know folks. I never lost a clutch, but I did lose a clutch pedal once. Funniest damn thing I ever saw. The clutch pedal linkage broke on me one as I was scoot'n thru Nashville. I heard a thump on the floor & was WTF was that. As I was squirreling around thru traffic, I look down between my legs and seen the clutch pedal laying on the floor. It was like oh, Fuck. I just continued on driving trying to figure out what I was going to do because I figured I only had 1 shot at stopping, than I probably wasn't going to be able to get going again. I knew of a small truck repair joint right along I-24 as I was going south towards Atlanta. I figured I could get off the exit, & baby her over to the next on ramp which was right next to the repair shop. From where I got stopped, I could read their phone number, & called them up. I talked to the owner who came out & was looking at me sitting on the ramp. He had me walk the broken pedal over to him & though he did not have an exact replacement part, he was able to make a part for the linkage that would work. He walked back to the truck with me & installed the modified pedal. It took about 3 hours total. Total cost was like $160.00. It lasted a couple of weeks until I got back to the terminal & they were able to replace his part with a whole new clutch pedal & linkage.
Driver needs to go for trainning on how to drive without the damn phone on all the time as he can't control his unit he could be one of those who will learn when its to late and he has smash in to outers and maybe killed some one then it will be to late, fools and driving don't go together , but fools and jail does .
I see half the guys problem his truck needs work I drove for 35 years never let my truck jump like that when using clutch or grinding into gear Of coarse if your driving abilities are minimal you may not understand
How does getting stuck in the ditch have anything to do with the bridge being out and I will not watch any more videos that are mistitled misled if I do not see the bridge that is out
Mr Duane If you watch the whole video we show the signs. He passed the 3 signs that said bridge out. When he finally got to the bridge he tried to back out and turn around. That is when he got stuck. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Put down that damn phone and watch where your going you probably wouldn't gave done all that. But if you were driving for mr you would be looking for a job. Thats completely ridiculous. He obviously dont listen for nothing either. Tear up that truck and nearly turn yours over because he dont pay attention to anything but the phone
Good job Mr.Hall It amazing that companies put these young drivers in a big truck with little or no experence .

Anybody else noticed that there is no Bridge
Jackass it's down the road
5:28 See the sign that says "Road closed in 1000ft"? That's where the bridge is. You are about as dense as the driver.
