How to install string lights on a pergola

That is great to hear! This type of light string makes it straighforward to install using the built in eyelets. You can also run a cable to tie the lights to, but I prefer this method. cheers!

find this very helpful as i'm planning to hook up string lights in our patio's pergola as well. one question though - how did you hook the lights to a power outlet?

I ran an extension cord from the house to the back side of the pergola and then up the post to the top. Future plan is to run underground wire to an outdoor outlet mounted on the back of the pergola.

These bulbs last one year only. I know it by my own experience.
